PROPHESYING AGAINST FALSE PROPHETS

The evil prophecy against you shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

   PROPHECY AGAINST FALSE PROPHETS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Throughout Scripture, the warning against false prophets is a recurring theme. In Ezekiel 13:2, God commands the prophet to speak against those who falsely claim to deliver His messages, saying, "Prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: ‘Hear the word of the Lord!’” These false prophets led the people astray, promising peace when destruction was imminent (Ezekiel 13:10).

In Ezekiel 11:4, God again commands Ezekiel to speak against deceitful leaders, who spread lies and mislead Israel. Isaiah 1:23 further denounces corrupt leaders, stating, “Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts."

Acts 13:6-12 tells of Paul’s confrontation with Elymas, a false prophet. Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, condemned him, leading to Elymas' temporary blindness as a sign of God's judgment. Similarly, in 2 Corinthians 11:12-16, Paul warns against false apostles who disguise themselves as messengers of righteousness.

Jesus also warned His followers to beware of false prophets, stating in Matthew 7:15, “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” These warnings remind us of the importance of discerning God's true messengers.

A template for how to prophesy against false teachers is in Ezekiel chapters 13 from verse 1 to verse 23  and substitute the name of your country with Israel and Jerusalem.

Another prophetic model against false preachers is found in Ezekiel 11: 1-12. A nation cannot succeed until God's judgement is brought upon the false prophets.

In our daily prayers ask the lord for God fearing preachers to be be bold to preach the gospel and for a healthy appetite for God's word.

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to prophecy with signs and wonders following.

THE ABIDING PRESENCE OF GOD

You shall not be abandoned and stranded because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

THE ABIDING PRESENCE OF GOD

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The abiding presence of God is a central theme throughout the Bible, revealing His desire to dwell with His people. In Exodus 33:15-17, Moses pleads with God, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." God reassures him, promising His presence and favor. This highlights that God’s presence is not just about proximity but divine guidance, protection, and favor.

In the New Testament, God's presence is revealed in a more personal way through the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:16 reminds believers that, "You are God’s temple and God’s Spirit dwells in you." This profound truth means that through faith, God abides in His people, making them His dwelling place.

Paul, in Colossians 2:9, states that in Christ "all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form." Christ is the ultimate revelation of God’s abiding presence, fully divine, yet dwelling among us as man. As Christians, this divine presence is not distant, but intimately with us.

Hebrews 13:5 assures, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." God’s promise remains firm—He is ever-present in every circumstance. Furthermore, 2 Timothy 1:14 encourages believers to "Guard the good deposit...with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us." The Spirit is God’s abiding presence, guiding, comforting, and empowering believers daily.

The presence of God does not dwell in any specific locations , God is Omnipresent and so is the anointing of the Holy Spirit ( Acts 17:27-28) . As you read this now the anointing is present where you are , ready to go into action on your behalf .

A life of sin makes it hard to be conscious of the anointing thereby exposing us to false teachers who claim to have the monopoly of the anointing through a special arrangement with God . This is targeted towards defrauding people of their money .God does not live in any church buildings or religious shrines. Jesus Christ said John 4:21 "Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. ' He dwells in you ( 1Corinthians 3:16)

In our daily prayers seek to live in righteousness and constant awareness of God's abiding presence.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel in signs and wonders.

NO ONE POSSES MORE OF THE ANOINTING AND GRACE

The evil prophecy against your family shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:

The evil prophecy against your family shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

NO ONE POSSES MORE OF THE ANOINTING AND GRACE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The idea that no one has more anointing or grace than others is rooted in the belief that all believers receive grace equally through Christ. As John 1:16 says, "For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace." This verse emphasizes that grace is not distributed selectively, but generously given to all who believe.

The anointing, too, is shared equally among believers. In 1 John 2:27, it says, "But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you." This verse highlights that the anointing from the Holy Spirit is available to all, not a special few, and it dwells in every believer, equipping them to know and live out God's truth.

Moreover, the unity of believers through the Holy Spirit is underscored in 1 Corinthians 12:13: "For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit." This affirms that regardless of background or status, every believer shares in the same Spirit, the same anointing, and the same grace.

Finally, 2 Corinthians 4:13 reminds us that faith is the common ground for all believers: "Since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what has been written, ‘I believed, and so I spoke,’ we also believe, and so we also speak." No believer is more favored in receiving grace or the Spirit than others. We are all equal in Christ, sharing His fullness.

It is the absence of this understanding of the anointing that has brought about the proliferation of false prophets all claiming to be more powerful and having more grace than the others . This is the activity of the demonic lying spirit as in the era of king Ahab and his four hundred prophets ( 1 kings 22:1-38) This is the reason behind the corruption in Nigeria and underdevelopment of Africa.

It requires the teaching of sound doctrine to put an end to this evil .

In our daily prayers we should ask the lord to deliver our families and nation from false prophets and seek spiritual enlightenment and a genuine healthy appetite for God's word in our lives and for the prosperity of the teachers of the gospel ( psalm 35:27)

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil manipulations.

LET THEM THAT MAKES MENTION OF THE NAME OF THE LORD DEPART FROM INIQUITY

You shall succeed where others have failed because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

LET HIM THAT MENTIONS GOD'S NAME DEPART FROM INIQUITY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

  Psalms 119:159-160

" Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.'

The phrase "Let him that mentions God's name depart from iniquity" emphasizes the sacred responsibility of those who profess faith in God to live righteously. This is drawn from 2 Timothy 2:19, which says, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” The Christian life is a call to holiness and separation from sin.

Matthew 3:12 speaks of Christ separating the wheat from the chaff, symbolizing how He distinguishes between the righteous and the wicked. Those who name God must reflect His purity, rejecting sin. Titus 2:11-12 echoes this, teaching that the grace of God, which brings salvation, instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live upright lives in this present age.

Grace, far from giving license to sin, actually empowers believers to live righteously. Galatians 3:15 explains the seriousness of God’s covenant, emphasizing the unchanging nature of His word. Just as God's promises are secure, so is His call to holy living.

The scripture says1 Peter 1:16 (“Be holy, for I am holy”), reinforcing the idea that to name God is to walk in His ways, rejecting iniquity and embracing a life that reflects His holiness.

In your daily prayers seek to be an expression of God's righteous nature in words and in deeds as the psalmist says in Psalms 35:28

" And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long."

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to live  in holiness .

HIS FOUNDATION STANDS SURE

You shall continue to make great progress regardless of the adverse circumstances because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional:

THE FOUNDATION STANDS SURE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Matthew 16:18 "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. "

The word 'prevail' in this verse of scripture is  the Greek word ' katischuƍ ' and it means to overpower .

For thousands of years Satan has tried to destroy the church through his agents and failed and will continue to fail because the church is a spiritual body founded upon an indestructible foundation. Jesus Christ is the builder of his church and we are co-labourers .

The foundation of God is steadfast, unwavering, and sure. Scripture assures us that God's foundation is immovable, providing stability and security for believers. In **2 Timothy 2:19**, the Apostle Paul declares, *"Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his."* This verse reminds us that God's foundation is unshakeable, and He knows those who belong to Him.

God’s promises are built on His unwavering truth. In **Isaiah 28:16**, it is written, *"Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste."* This points to Christ as the cornerstone, the solid foundation on which we are to build our lives.

Jesus also emphasized the importance of building on a firm foundation in **Matthew 7:24-25**, where He said, *"Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."* God’s foundation stands firm through all circumstances, offering refuge and strength to all who trust in Him.

In our daily prayers we should seek to build our lives on God's foundation and ask for grace to overcome the temptation to do otherwise.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil .

SOME ATTRIBUTES OF A FOOLISH CHILD

The enemy's plans against your family shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good+Life Devotional:

SOME ATTRIBUTES OF A FOOLISH CHILD

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Psalms 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

The Book of Proverbs, a key text in the Bible, offers timeless wisdom on various aspects of life, including the behaviour of children. It highlights several attributes of a foolish child, contrasting them with the characteristics of a wise one.

1. **Disobedience**: Proverbs 13:1 describes a foolish child as one who disregards their parents’ instructions, showing a lack of respect and wisdom.

2. **Laziness**: Proverbs 10:5 warns against laziness, noting that a foolish child sleeps during harvest, missing opportunities and failing to contribute.

3. **Anger**: Proverbs 14:17 links foolishness with quick-tempered behaviour, indicating that a foolish child is easily angered, leading to poor decisions.

4. **Dishonesty**: Proverbs 12:22 condemns lying lips, highlighting that dishonesty is a hallmark of a foolish child.

5. **Disregard for Wisdom**: Proverbs 1:7 notes that fools despise wisdom and instruction, meaning a foolish child ignores valuable life lessons.

6. **Poor Companionship**: Proverbs 13:20 advises that associating with fools leads to harm, implying that a foolish child often keeps bad company.

7. **Pride**: Proverbs 16:18 warns that pride leads to destruction, suggesting that a foolish child is often arrogant and overconfident.

These attributes serve as warnings and lessons, urging children to seek wisdom and avoid the pitfalls of folly.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to walk in wisdom .

SOME ATTRIBUTES OF A WISE CHILD

You shall not be stranded and abandoned because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional:

SOME ATTRIBUTES OF A WISE CHILD

By Michael Benson Ajayi

Proverbs 23:24

"The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him."

Wisdom is the ability to be at the right place at the right time with the right people while engaged in  the right thing.. This requires God's leading and the reward of living in wisdom is joy . A family with wise children is blessed with happiness. Foolish children bring grief to their parents resulting in poverty , sicknesses and death .

The book of Proverbs in the Bible provides profound insights into the characteristics of a wise child. Here are seven key attributes highlighted:

1. **Obedience**: Proverbs 1:8 advises children to heed the instruction of their parents, demonstrating respect and a willingness to learn from their elders.

2. **Diligence**: A wise child is industrious, understanding the value of hard work. Proverbs 10:4 contrasts the diligent with the lazy, showing that hard work leads to prosperity.

3. **Honesty**: Proverbs 12:22 emphasises the importance of truthfulness, stating that the Lord delights in those who are trustworthy.

4. **Self-control**: A wise child exercises restraint, particularly in speech and actions. Proverbs 17:27 highlights the wisdom in speaking less and with care.

5. **Respect for authority**: Proverbs 13:1 speaks to the importance of accepting correction, a sign of humility and wisdom.

6. **Humility**: Proverbs 11:2 links humility with wisdom, indicating that a wise child recognises their limitations and seeks to learn from others.

7. **Kindness**: Finally, Proverbs 19:17 reveals that showing kindness to the poor is not only wise but also pleasing to God.

These attributes guide children towards a life of wisdom, aligning with God's principles and leading to a blessed life.

In our daily prayers we should seek for the spirit of wisdom and the fear of the lord to be upon our families .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

SEVEN STEPS ON HOW TO RAISE A WISE CHILD IN A CORRUPT WORLD

You are progressing from being a borrower to a lender because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good- Life Devotional:

SEVEN STEPS ON HOW TO RAISE A WISE CHILD IN A CORRUPT WORLD

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Psalms 112:2 "His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed."

Isaiah 49:25

" But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children."

The will of God is for the righteous to leave a legacy of a generation of persons rich in divine influence and affluence. The devil knows this and seeks to destroy our children through negative influence through a corrupted educational system , unhealthy entertainment, dysfunctional family system , misleading media and bad governance.

Raising a wise child in a corrupt world requires intentionality, guidance, and a strong moral foundation rooted in biblical principles. Here are seven steps to help parents navigate this challenging task:

1. **Teach the Fear of the Lord**: Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Instill in your child a reverence for God, which is the cornerstone of wisdom.

2. **Model Godly Behaviour**: Children learn by example. Proverbs 22:6 encourages, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Live out your faith daily.

3. **Instill Love for Scripture**: Deuteronomy 6:6-7 instructs, "These commandments...are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children." Teach them to cherish and apply God's Word.

4. **Cultivate Discernment**: Philippians 1:9-10 urges, "That your love may abound...in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best." Help your child develop the ability to make wise decisions.

5. **Encourage Prayer**: James 1:5 reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God." Teach your child to seek wisdom through prayer.

6. **Promote Integrity**: Proverbs 10:9 says, "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely." Guide your child to be honest and upright.

7. **Equip Them to Resist Temptation**: 1 Corinthians 10:13 assures, "God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear." Help your child understand and resist the corrupting influences of the world.

By following these biblical steps, parents can raise children who are not only wise but also strong in their faith, equipped to navigate the challenges of a corrupt world.

In our daily prayers seek for wisdom to raise our children and protection from bad influence.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to make a positive difference always .

YOUR CHILDREN SHALL BE SAVED

Your labour shall not be in vain , your efforts shall be rewarded abundantly because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional:

YOUR CHILDREN SHALL BE SAVED

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Mark 10:13-16 (NIV):

"People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’ And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them."

The theme of "Your Children Shall Be Saved" resonates deeply throughout the Bible, offering hope and reassurance to those who fear for their loved ones. The parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-24 is a powerful illustration of redemption and restoration. Here, a wayward son squanders his inheritance but is welcomed back with open arms by his father when he repents. This story highlights God's boundless mercy and willingness to forgive, reinforcing the belief that no one is beyond saving.

Isaiah 49:25-26 assures that even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the prey of the terrible will be delivered. God promises to contend with those who contend with His children and save them. This is echoed in Psalm 112:3, where the blessings and righteousness of the faithful are assured.

Similarly, the story of Joseph in Genesis, sold into slavery by his brothers, but eventually rising to power in Egypt, demonstrates God's providence and ability to turn even the darkest situations into opportunities for salvation and deliverance. Isaiah 49:20-21 further reassures that God's people, even those thought lost, will return and be restored, filling the hearts of their parents with joy. This unwavering promise of salvation extends to all, providing hope for the future.

Never give up on your children and those of members of your family and the body of Christ. In your daily prayers pray that they develop a healthy appetite for God and become sensitive and responsive to his voice . This is God's promise in Isaiah 54:13 (NIV): "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace."

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to raise godly children .

ADOPTION OF CHILDREN A MODEL OF GOD'S FAMILY

Your family shall be far from the destroyer because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good+Life Devotional:

ADOPTION OF  CHILDREN A MODEL OF GOD'S FAMILY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Philemon 1:10 "I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: "

1 Corinthians 4:17 "For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church."

Onesimus was a slave who belonged to Philemon, a Christian leader in Colossae. According to the letter, Onesimus had run away from Philemon and somehow encountered the Apostle Paul, who was in prison at the time (likely in Rome). In verse 18 of Philemon Chapter 1 apostle Paul offered to pay off Onesimus' debt to Philemon and reconciled both parties . Onesimus and Timothy were not apostle Paul's biological children but were  adopted as sons.

Adoption, a profound act of love and commitment, finds its ultimate model in God's adoption of believers as His children. In the Bible, this spiritual adoption is depicted as an intimate and transformative relationship. Galatians 4:4-5 states, "But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son... so that we might receive adoption as sons." This passage highlights the divine initiative and grace that makes this adoption possible.

In the Old Testament, God chose Israel as His people, adopting them as His "firstborn son" (Exodus 4:22). This act of adoption was rooted in His covenant love, setting a precedent for how earthly adoption should reflect divine love—unconditional, redemptive, and everlasting.

In the New Testament, Romans 8:15-17 emphasizes that believers are given the "Spirit of adoption" and are made "heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ." This inheritance is not just of material blessings but of a deep, personal relationship with God.

Thus, earthly adoption should mirror this divine example, welcoming children into families with the same love, acceptance, and promise of belonging that God extends to us. Just as God's adoption is permanent and irrevocable, so too should be our commitment to the children we adopt.

There are many children seeking to belong to a family and God's family, the church is to provide the love and warmth they desire for healthy growth through adoption .

PRAYER Heavenly Father,  forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome depression.

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH VERSES THE SPIRIT OF LIES

Your family shall not lack any good thing regardless of the economy because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH VERSES THE SPIRIT OF LIES

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Matthew 7:13-15

'Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. "

This scripture teaches that false teachers of the gospel shall lead many astray with lies to their destruction. It also highlights the unpopularity of the teachers of the truth of the gospel .

The concept of the Spirit of

Truth versus the spirit of error is deeply rooted in biblical teachings. In 1 John 4:5-6, the apostle John contrasts those who follow God with those who are of the world. He highlights that believers in Christ possess the Spirit of Truth, enabling them to discern and adhere to God's teachings. This Spirit aligns with the truth, as revealed in God's Word.

John 17:17 reinforces this by stating, "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." Here, Jesus prays for His disciples to be sanctified, or made holy, through the truth found in God's Word. This highlights the inseparable connection between God's Word and the Spirit of Truth, guiding believers towards righteousness.

On the other hand, 1 Kings 22:22-23 introduces a contrasting spirit—a lying spirit sent by God to deceive. This passage reflects the consequences of rejecting the truth and embracing falsehood. The spirit of error, unlike the Spirit of Truth, leads individuals away from God’s will, resulting in deception and judgement.

In essence, the Spirit of Truth aligns believers with God’s truth, while the spirit of error leads to deception and spiritual peril. Believers are called to remain steadfast in truth, guided by God’s Word and Spirit.

In our daily prayers we should seek for the spirit of discernment to avoid becoming victims of the spirit of error.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome deception. Amen

THE LORDS SENDS LYING SPIRITS TO REPROBATE PREACHERS AND LEADERS

You shall not be a victim of evil  deception because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

THE LORDS SENDS LYING SPIRITS TO REPROBATE PREACHERS AND LEADERS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Matthew 7:21-23

" Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

[22]Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

[23]And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. "

The theme of God sending a lying spirit to reprobate preachers and leaders finds its roots in various biblical passages. In **1 Kings 22:20-23**, the prophet Micaiah recounts a vision where God permits a lying spirit to deceive King Ahab through false prophets. God asks, "Who will entice Ahab to go and fall at Ramoth Gilead?" A spirit volunteers, promising to be a lying spirit in the mouths of Ahab's prophets. This deception leads Ahab to his downfall, illustrating God's sovereignty even over the forces of deception.

Similarly, **Judges 9:23** describes God sending an evil spirit between Abimelech and the leaders of Shechem, causing discord that eventually leads to Abimelech's demise. Here, God uses the spirit to bring about justice against a corrupt ruler.

In the New Testament, **2 Thessalonians 2:10-12** warns that those who reject the truth will be given over to delusion. It says, "God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie," condemning those who take pleasure in wickedness.

These passages reveal a consistent biblical theme: God allows deceit to ensnare those who persist in rebellion and wickedness, ultimately leading to their judgment.

In our daily prayers we should seek for the spirit of discernment to avoid falling victim of false leaders and be filled with God's word always .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome deception. Amen

 Matthew 7:19-23

[19]Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

[20]Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

[21]Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

[22]Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

[23]And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The word 'iniquity ' is the Greek word  "anomia' it means illegality that is violation of law or (generally) wickedness: ,

Their churches prosper through the proceeds of bribery and corruption. Jesus Christ describes such places as a 'den of thieves ' ( Matthew 21:13) .

Though they claim to have miracles , and great works and mention the name of Jesus, it makes no difference. God's kingdom is not only about miracles , foods and pleasures but Righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit ( Romans 14:17) . Righteousness is God's way of doing things.

### Seven Signs of a Lying Spirit According to Scripture

The Bible offers insights into identifying a lying spirit, as seen in several passages. One of the key stories is found in **1 Kings 22:20-24**, where God allows a lying spirit to deceive King Ahab through false prophets. This teaches us that deception can come through seemingly trustworthy sources. **Matthew 7:20-21** warns that false prophets will be known by their fruits, indicating that actions, rather than words, reveal true intentions.

In **2 Peter 2**, false teachers are described as those who secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying the Lord and exploiting people with deceptive words. **Jude 1** echoes this, highlighting the dangers of ungodly people who pervert the grace of God. **2 Thessalonians 2** further warns about the "man of lawlessness" and the powerful delusion sent by God to those who reject the truth.

The story of Abimelech in **Judges 9** demonstrates how deception and lies lead to destruction, both for the deceiver and those who follow. Recognising these signs—false teachings, secret heresies, corrupt fruits, and ultimate destruction—can help believers stay vigilant against lying spirits.

In our daily prayers we should seek for discernment and a healthy appetite for God's word .

PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil manipulations .

ONLY TWO THINGS MATTER IN A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY , NOTHING ELSE COUNTS

The curse of stangnation and confusion is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

ONLY TWO THINGS MATTER IN A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY , NOTHING ELSE COUNTS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Isaiah 1:11,13

[11]To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

[13]Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting."

The above scripture says God is least interested in our conventions , certificates , jamborees , seed sowing , cathedrals , ceremonies and luxuries as long as corruption thrives in the society with Christian fully participating in it. If Jesus Christ was to pay a visit to a church he will seek for only two things and that is what all pastors are expected to seek for . They are Jesus Christ and him crucified. A Christian who cannot explain this mystery is not established in the faith .

In 1 Corinthians 2:2, the Apostle Paul declares, "For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified." This verse highlights two essential aspects that are of utmost value in the life of a Christian: the centrality of Jesus Christ and the significance of His crucifixion.

First, Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. Paul’s focus on knowing Christ underscores the importance of a personal relationship with Him. John 14:6 reinforces this, where Jesus says, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Knowing Christ is not merely about intellectual knowledge but involves a deep, transformative connection that influences every aspect of life.

Second, the crucifixion of Christ is pivotal for salvation. Galatians 6:14 states, "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ." The cross represents the ultimate sacrifice, where Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, offering redemption and reconciliation with God. This act of love and sacrifice is the cornerstone of Christian belief, shaping how believers live and relate to God.

The name 'Jesus Christ' means God's principle of salvation for mankind . 'Him crucified ' means the end of human selfishness and resurrection of love .

In summary, a Christian’s life is deeply rooted in knowing Jesus Christ and understanding the profound impact of His crucifixion.

In our daily prayers we should seek to know the lord more and for his nature to be seen in us always .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome the fear of poverty.

FOOD: SATAN'S GREATEST WEAPON OF ENSLAVEMENT

Your family shall not suffer lack of provisions regardless of the economy because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

FOOD: SATAN'S GREATEST WEAPON OF ENSLAVEMENT

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. "

Our attitude towards food determines our spiritual growth and experience with God ( Daniel 1:17)  Young prophet Daniel knew this and rejected the king's meal Daniel 1: 5-17

Food has long been used as a tool of manipulation and control, as evidenced in several biblical accounts. From the very beginning, food played a role in the downfall of humanity. In **Genesis 3:1-13**, Satan tempted Adam and Eve with the forbidden fruit, leading them into disobedience and spiritual slavery. Similarly, **Esau** traded his birthright for a simple meal in **Genesis 25:29-34**, highlighting how food can be used to exploit human weakness.

Satan has repeatedly used food as a means of death and deception. In **2 Kings 4:38-40**, death was hidden in a pot of stew intended to kill Elisha's disciples. Furthermore, in **1 Kings 13:11-29**, a young prophet lost his life by eating with a corrupt older prophet, demonstrating how food can be a medium for spiritual downfall.

False prophets often use food as a means of manipulation and control. **Ezekiel 13:19** warns about witchcraft practices where food is used to substitute the death of one person for another. In the New Testament, **Judas Iscariot** became possessed by Satan after disrespectfully dipping his bread into Jesus’ dish (**John 13:26-27**).

Even Jesus was tempted with food in **Luke 4:3**. Believers are urged to be content with their provisions (**1 Timothy 6:8**) and work for their food (**2 Thessalonians 3:6-10**) to avoid falling into the enemy’s trap. Satan's use of food serves as a warning to remain spiritually vigilant.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and dietary discipline, this is the reason we fast every Friday by skipping a meal in my local church .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.

WE HAVE OBTAINED MERCY*

Your situation is not hopeless, extraordinary help shall locate because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

*WE HAVE OBTAINED MERCY*

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

James 2:13

'For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment."

God is not with great anticipation and excitement looking forward to judging anyone , he would rather forgive us all and save us from our sins . That was what he did through Jesus Christ. However, man has the right to chose between God's judgement and mercy through Jesus Christ.

Rejection of Jesus Christ is  an indication of the rejection of God's mercy , it is on this  basis that many will come under judgement. They chose hell over heaven and God respects their choices .

The mercy of God is a profound theme throughout the Bible, revealing His compassionate nature toward humanity. Mercy, in its essence, is God's willingness to withhold the punishment we deserve and instead offer forgiveness and grace. In Ephesians 2:4-5, Paul writes, "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ."

Through Jesus, we have obtained mercy, not by our own works but by God's grace. Titus 3:5 reminds us, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us." This mercy brings us into a relationship with God, transforming our lives.

In 1 Peter 2:10, Peter declares, "Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." As recipients of this divine mercy, we are called to extend it to others. Matthew 5:7 says, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."

God’s mercy offers us hope, redemption, and a new beginning, a gift we are meant to share with the world.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to forgive .

HATRED FOR GOD'S WORD RESULTS IN CHAOS

Your family shall be far from disaster because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good+Life Devotional :

HATRED FOR GOD'S WORD RESULTS IN CHAOS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Psalms 50:22

"Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver."

Psalms 5:10

"Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee."

The open rejection of God's word as seen on social media is a declaration of war against God. Families and nations are being torn apart by evil forces operating by God's permission because of their open display for hatred for God. The bible describes these evil entities in Joel 2:25

[25].... the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army WHICH I SENT AMONG YOU."   In Judges 9:23 God sent an evil spirit to execute judgment and in Isaiah 13:17 he sent terrorists against his people that rebelled against him.

These are terrorists, Viruses , economic saboteurs  and  oppressive rulers . When people openly display hatred for God's word and Christians keep quiet and do nothing about it it results in hindrances to prayers being answered. It takes longer for prayers to be answered ( Ezekiel 12: 26-28) until there is a repentance.

The  hatred for God's Word in any nation leads to spiritual and societal decay. Below are some key consequences, with Bible verses to support each point:

1. **Moral Decline**: Rejecting God's Word removes the moral compass for society, leading to widespread sin. "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34).

2. **God’s Judgment**: Nations that despise His laws invite divine judgment. "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God" (Psalm 9:17).

3. **Loss of Wisdom**: God’s Word provides wisdom, and rejecting it leads to confusion and foolishness. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10).

4. **Spiritual Blindness**: Without God’s Word, people walk in darkness. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).

5. **Division and Strife**: Disregarding God’s teachings leads to social unrest. "Where there is no guidance, a people falls" (Proverbs 11:14).

6. **Corruption of Leaders**: Godless leadership brings corruption. "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn" (Proverbs 29:2).

7. **Loss of Blessings**: Nations that ignore God’s Word miss out on His blessings. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" (Psalm 33:12).

In our daily prayers we should seek forgiveness from the lord and he promises in 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote righteousness.

PRAYER TRUNCATES THE DEVIL'S PLANS

The enemy's plans against your family shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

PRAYER TRUNCATES THE DEVIL'S PLANS

 By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Ephesians 6:18

" Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; "

The phrase "Satan seeks to sift you like wheat" originates from Luke 22:31-32, where Jesus warns Peter that Satan desires to test him and his faith: “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.” This imagery of sifting wheat reflects Satan's attempt to shake and break believers, causing doubt, fear, and sin to overwhelm them. However, Jesus emphasizes the power of prayer, showing that His intercession can protect and strengthen believers in times of spiritual testing.

Prayer is crucial in truncating the devil’s plans. In Ephesians 6:18, Paul urges believers to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." Prayer aligns us with God’s will and fortifies our faith, making us resistant to Satan’s schemes. James 4:7 reminds us to “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Prayer empowers us to resist temptations and spiritual attacks.

The devil’s goal is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but through prayer and faith, we can access God’s protection, ensuring Satan’s attempts to sift us like wheat are thwarted.

The word  'fail ' is the Greek word. ' ekleipƍ ' means : cease . To come to a place of not believing in God . As a result of this prayer , Peter still believed in God despite denying Jesus Christ thrice and went on to become the first general overseer of the church of Jesus Christ.

Some Christians have turned atheists because they were faced with similar circumstances like Peter  . This underscores the importance of praying for each other that we may stand in the faith like Epaphras in  Colossians 4:12

'Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.'

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.
