"What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws. They deprive the poor of justice  and deny the rights of the needy among my people. They prey on widows  and take advantage of orphans.     What will you do when I punish you,  when I send disaster upon you from a distant land? 

 To whom will you turn for help?    Where will your treasures be safe? You will stumble along as prisoners  or lie among the dead.   But even then the lord’s anger will not be satisfied. His fist is still poised to strike." Isaiah 10:1-4 NLT Bible 

   One of the errors with the teaching on the message of grace is that a person can do whatever and ask God for mercy and he will answer and let you get away with your crime. 

    This teaching has led many to destructive tendencies such as the violation of the rights of the poor by men of influence through the judiciary. 

      Is it true that they will get away with it ? Definitely not . Jesus Christ said in Luke 12:48

'But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. "

    We can see from the above scriptures that every error comes with unpleasant repercussions. A parallel of this scripture is in 2 Samuel 12:15-16,18 "And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick. David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died.  .." In the new testament in Acts 12: 1-24 Herod used the judiciary to oppress God's servant Peter and was slain by an angel. This resulted in the growth of God's word. No amount of devotion , fasting , offerings and fasting can prevent God's judgment against a person who abuses authority. Its all about a matter of time . The sword of divine justice will descend on them.

     King David was described as a man after God's heart and that did not prevent God's judgment against him. 

  The poor and helpless are dear to God and he says he will punish any judge who judges evil against them even when the judge repents like David.. 

 The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:22

'Abstain from all appearance of evil. '.  Therefore, it makes no sense to say I'll sin and ask God for mercy and he will forgive me. 

 Isaiah 33;1 KJV says you shall face the consequences .

    The judiciary is sacred and should not be used as a  tool against the will and aspirations of the needy , the bible says Psalms 72:4 'He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor."  That's what Isaiah 10:1-4 says.

 "'so all the world from east to west will know there is no other God. I am the Lord , and there is no other. I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the Lord , am the one who does these things." Isaiah 45:6‭-‬7 NLT

   God is both creator and judge , he judges our choices . He gave us the right to chose as an act of love. The first couple :Adam and Eve where given the right to make choices between Good and Evil that was the essence of the Tree of Good and Evil . A test of their fidelity. The life we live and our environment is a function of the choices that we make : this is what gives meaning to life's circumstances . When God created the world it was in perfect harmony with Heaven , the Bible says in Genesis 1:1" created the heavens and the Earth " the word 'and' is a conjunction, meaning the Earth was in perfect harmony with God until man made a choice to live independent of God , this was the Genesis of the instabilities of life on earth . Every manufacturer attaches a product manual to his product before selling to customers: when God created the Earth he gave Adam the manual for operating the Earth. Adam disregarded the manual and what we see as evil today is the consequences of rejecting the manufacturer's manual.. the Earth was created with its standard scientific operating system ( e.g temperature , Atmospheric pressures, Humidity etc ) the cataclysmic activities across the world are consequent on the violation of environmental laws . For instance deadly earth tremors have been experienced in places with excessive mining activities thousands of feet beneath the ground . Also global warming results in destructive floods worldwide. To every action there is a reaction. The reactions or events we experience are God's response to our action through the elements of the universe. God's essence permeates throughout the fabric of the material universe . He is everywhere and in all things . the book of Job says " Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth? Job 38:33 NLT    

     The universe was created by a living God and has intelligence and response to us in accordance to the actions we take in support or against the elements of the universe. Adam's choice of independence from God's wisdom , meant the only means of effective communication was through an adversity -and- reward system "For the godless are full of resentment. Even when he punishes them, they refuse to cry out to him for help. But by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer. For he gets their attention through adversity. Job 36:13‭, ‬15 NLT Bible .    Adversity is a necessary means of effective communication due to the hardness of the human heart. If we see God in our adversity we would be better off at the end “God is leading you away from danger, ...to a place free from distress. He is setting your table with the best food. Job 36:16 NLT Bible

Ezekiel 11:1-4

[1]Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.[2]Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:[3]Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.[4]Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man." 

  Jeremiah 29:7 "And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace."

   The place of faith and prayers in nation building cannot be overemphasised . When the foundation upon which a nation was build is faulty that nation will not know peace until the constitutional provisions for the cooperate existence of each citizen reflects fairness , equity and justice .

    It requires the services of God:s people to rightly draft a workable document as the constitution . Failure to do so will result in  ungodly governance with evil principalities and powers influencing those in power . This will result in insecurity and deaths  , that was the state of the nation in prophet Ezekiel's time. The Bible says in Ezekiel 11:6 "Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain."   

   These principalities operate through persons and God will do nothing if there is no one to intercede . Intercession involves contending in deliverance prayer in righteous judgement against those persons holding the nation through diabolic means. 

 When Ezekiel prophesied , there was instant judgment against the agents of darkness that have help the nation bound in stagnation .

    Ezekiel numbered 25 men. In every nation there are 25 individuals that constitute a cabal which Satan uses to oppress God's people , they operate through religious leaders , the media , military and other security agencies , the academia , family heads and community leaders . 

   Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven so believers are supposed to bind the plans of these persons from coming to pass. Pray in tongues while quoting scriptures such as ( Psalm 125;3, Psalm 94:20-23, psalm 140;8-13, Ezekiel 21:26-27)

  Never underestimate the power of your prayers. Make a commitment to recruit new persons into this army of intercessors .This was how some of the great nations were formed .Prayers results in an increase in trade and enterprise and integrity which creates the necessary environment for prosperity and national development. 

   Like the prophet Isaiah we should say  Isaiah 62:1 "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as the lamp the burneth "

The church in Nigeria will not know peace until Nigeria is known for righteousness.

   “Do you think it is right for you to claim, ‘I am righteous before God’? For you also ask, ‘What’s in it for me? What’s the use of living a righteous life?’ Job 35:2‭-‬3 NLT "Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them." “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? Job 38:3-5 NLT Bible

       Faith is our total dependence, reliance or loyalty towards God . It is the title deed that a desired outcome will come to pass with God's help . Faith in a person is determined by the information one has about that person. Job's faith was threatened ; he could not understand that despite the fact that he was declared righteous by God in Job Chapter 1 , he suffered a major misfortune and suffered a protracted ill health.

   One of the ironies of life is that good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people; it is the inability to understand this that has led to many given up on their christian faith and walk with God. In the first and second chapter of the book of Job, prophet Job is described as a perfect man favoured by God but unfortunately he suffered the loss of his businesses and children all in a single day. Job did not understand that God's definition of perfection based on God's grace was different from man's definition of righteousness . God was speaking the language of faith which has to do with calling things that be not as though they were (Romans 4:17) while Job viewed righteousness from the perspective of human effort . Job's best efforts at being righteous was not enough “Tell me, has there ever been a man like Job, with his thirst for irreverent talk? He chooses evil people as companions. He spends his time with wicked men. He has even said, ‘Why waste time trying to please God?’ Job 34:7‭-‬9 NLT Bible. ‘Job speaks out of ignorance; his words lack insight.’ For you have added rebellion to your sin; you show no respect, and you speak many angry words against God.” Job 34:35‭, ‬37 NLT .

    Job's misfortunes were as a result of his abuse of the grace of God . He was living in denial .He was also ignorant of the fact that it was not God that destroyed his family and businesses but Satan. We should not be ignorant of the devices of the evil one. God's Word also known as Truth is objective by nature while  human logic  is subjective : this is the reason behind the conflict in the world's religions , it is for this reason that God began to teach Job a fundamental principle of faith in Job Chapter 35 and 38 : ask questions about everything. Faith gives no room for grey areas. Jesus Christ encouraged his disciples to ask questions.      

     Ask your religious teachers questions on doctrinal issues and logic , sound teachings should make common sense , our faith in God depends on it . Questions results in answers , understanding and stability in faith for the extraordinary life in Christ

1 Timothy 6:3-6  If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

 "He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings , Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain."

  The word 'gain' is the Greek word :porismos' it means 'money getting ' acquisition. This should not be the reason to start a Christian ministry . killing , stealing and destruction follows such ministries because of greed. 

    Believers in Jesus Christ are mandated and anointed to preach the gospel with signs and wonders following . The bible says in Mark 16:15-17 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; "  This scripture is proof that signs and wonders accompany all believers who preach .We are equally called and anointed to preach the gospel. 

   All believers in Jesus Christ are expected to train people into becoming disciples :. representatives of Jesus on earth with the same anointing that was upon Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Matthew 28:18-20 'And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Jesus Christ dwells in the born again believer and has given us the same quality and quantity of power that he operated on while on earth .That power is in his name (Phil2;10)

 We are to preach , deliver the oppressed of Satan and heal without demanding a fee ( Isaiah 45:13, Matthew 10;8) 

  It is the ignorance of these truth by the church in Africa especially Nigeria that has given rise to persons whose primary objective for doing ministry is to make money. Such ministries seldom teach on godliness and are breeding ground for corruption in the society .

  They are guilty of two sins (1) by claiming gain ( money getting) is godliness instead of godliness and contentment being of great reward . 2) They destroy work  ethics by exempting themselves from gainful employment or business. This is the root of the laziness and idleness in the church resulting in great poverty in the society.

   The bible says we should stay away from such persons 1Tim.6;5 "..from such withdraw thyself. " and 2 Thessalonians 3:6 -10 " withdraw yourself from every brother that works disorderly ..if any would not work , neither should he eat "

2 Timothy 3:13-17 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 

  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:   That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.'

   The word 'seducer' has been misinterpreted to refer to the beautiful lady with short skirts or a good looking man that attracts the attention of women ,  that is not what it means .Being  Beautiful or handsome  is an asset in the church . They are meant to be instruments of righteousness to attract people into God's kingdom . The Jews where saved through Queen Esther's beauty ( Esther 5)/. They are also good for business as seen in the banking and aviation industry . 

    The word 'seducer ' is the Greek word 'goēs' ,it means a wizard ( as muttering a spell)  or an impostor ( fake preacher).  There are many impostors behind the pulpit partly due to the poor economy in Nigeria and most underdeveloped country . Most bible schools train people with a concept of making money through ministry . This is defined as success in ministry.   The bible says the essence of the Bible school should be for instruction in righteousness " that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:17.  Nigeria should have been a paradise on earth with the number of churches dotted all over the place 

   Jesus is not interested in the quantity of persons but quality of persons in our churches . 

  In other to attract customers (members ) these seducers teach that the grace of God allows for the practice of sins therefore, we continue to sin that grace may abound. Jesus said these impostors and their supporters will not enter heaven ( Matthew 7:21-23, 2 Thess 2:9-12)  

 GRACE IS NO LICENCE TO LIVE IN SIN .

Titus 2:11-12 says " For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

       The bible also says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.'

  It also says in 2 Timothy 3:13 'But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.'" Members deceiving the pastors and pastors deceiving members . 

  Make a commitment to study the bible everyday , use Google to know meaning of words if in doubt . Ask the the lord to open your eyes to truth .

But watch out, or you may be seduced by wealth. Don’t let yourself be bribed into sin. Job 36:18 NLT

   "You say he does not respond to sinners with anger and is not greatly concerned about wickedness. But you are talking nonsense, Job. You have spoken like a fool.”

Job 35:15‭-‬16 NLT

    The theology that says God is not interested in how you achieve success but what matters is that you succeed by all means possible and attribute your success to God with infinitesimal acts of charity through donations to preachers and orchestrated almsgiving as described in Job 35:15-16 is unwise and ungodly .

      The church is disparaged every time a christian is mentioned in any financial scandal . Praising persons with questionable sources of wealth  destroys work ethics especially among youths and destroys faith in God's law of gradual progress  . The bible says in Exodus 23: 30 "By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land." This is God's way of increasing his people. Overnight success is contrary to God's way of doing things . Unfortunately, it is the motivation behind modern church growth formula and that's why creators of ponzi schemes thrive more in such churches . 

  Unfortunately , get- rich- quick schemes are taught in many churches as an indication of God's favour. That is absolutely not true , the bible says "Greedy people try to get rich quick but don’t realize they’re headed for poverty." Proverbs 28:22 NLT and Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time."Proverbs 13:11 NLT

    King David for a moment began waning in faith because of his admiration for the prosperity of the wicked , he said  

   "But as for me, I almost lost my footing. My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone. For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness. They seem to live such painless lives; their bodies are so healthy and strong. They don’t have troubles like other people; they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else. They wear pride like a jeweled necklace and clothe themselves with cruelty. These fat cats have everything their hearts could ever wish for! And so the people are dismayed and confused, drinking in all their words. Look at these wicked people— enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply. Did I keep my heart pure for nothing? Did I keep myself innocent for no reason? I get nothing but trouble all day long; every morning brings me pain. Then I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked. Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction. In an instant they are destroyed, completely swept away by terrors. "Psalms 73:2‭-‬7‭, ‬10‭, ‬12‭-‬14‭, ‬17‭-‬19 NLT

   The wicked seem to be progressing faster but unknown to them , they are on an inclined plane . A vehicle tends to move faster when going downhill but slower when going uphill . The righteous are destined for the top of the mountain of glory that's why the journey is slow but certain . " ; let all who are helpless take heart. " Psalms 34:2 BLT
