GOD’S JUDGMENT AGAINST IMPUNITY (Part 2) — DIVINE JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL

Those working against your progress shall labour in vain because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GOD’S JUDGMENT AGAINST IMPUNITY  (Part 2) — DIVINE JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Throughout Scripture, God demonstrates that wickedness may appear successful temporarily, but divine justice eventually prevails. Human courts may fail, corrupt leaders may prosper for a season, and evil men may seem untouchable, yet    God never overlooks oppression, rebellion, or sacrilege. Ecclesiastes 12:14 declares, “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

In 1 Kings 21, King Ahab and Queen Jezebel abused royal authority to murder Naboth and seize his vineyard. Jezebel manipulated the legal system, arranged false witnesses, and executed an innocent man merely to satisfy greed. It appeared as though power had silenced justice, but God sent Elijah with a terrifying prophecy. Ahab’s dynasty would be destroyed, and Jezebel would die in disgrace. Though judgment delayed briefly, every word came to pass. God proved that political power cannot cancel divine accountability.

The rebellion of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram in Numbers 16 also reveals God’s hatred for arrogant rebellion. They challenged the leadership God established through Moses and Aaron, disguising ambition as spirituality. Their rebellion was not merely against men but against God’s authority. The earth opened and swallowed them alive, while fire consumed the 250 men offering unauthorized incense. God showed Israel that holy things must never be treated casually.

King Belshazzar in Daniel 5 mocked God openly by desecrating sacred Temple vessels during a drunken feast. That same night, the mysterious handwriting appeared on the wall announcing judgment. Before morning, Belshazzar was dead and Babylon had fallen.

God’s judgment against impunity should awaken holy fear in every generation. No throne, wealth, influence, or human system can shield people from divine justice. Psalm 9:7–8 says the Lord “shall judge the world in righteousness.” Therefore, believers must walk humbly, repent quickly, and never abuse authority, knowing that God is both merciful and just.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome oppression .

GOD’S JUDGMENT AGAINST IMPUNITY ( Part 1) — NO ONE IS ABOVE GOD

Laws will be altered in order to enforce God's righteous plan concerning you because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: GOD’S JUDGMENT AGAINST IMPUNITY  ( Part 1) — NO ONE IS ABOVE GOD

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Impunity is the belief that power, position, or influence places a person beyond accountability. Scripture repeatedly warns that God sets boundaries for every office, authority, and calling. When leaders cross those divine limits in pride or rebellion, judgment eventually follows. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
King Saul learned this painful truth in 1 Samuel 13:8–14. Fearful of losing his army, Saul ignored Samuel’s instruction and unlawfully offered sacrifice himself. Though he was king, he was not authorized to function as a priest. His impatience revealed distrust in God’s order. Immediately, Samuel declared that Saul’s kingdom would not continue. God rejected his dynasty because he substituted obedience with self-will. Leadership without submission to God becomes rebellion.
King Uzziah’s story in 2 Chronicles 26:16–21 carries the same warning. Uzziah was successful, militarily strong, and nationally admired, but success produced pride. He entered the Temple to burn incense, violating sacred priestly boundaries. When corrected by Azariah and the priests, he became angry instead of repentant. Instantly, leprosy appeared on his forehead, and he lived isolated until death. Pride turned privilege into punishment.
God’s judgment against impunity teaches that spiritual authority is never a license for arrogance. Titles do not exempt anyone from obedience. Pastors, rulers, parents, and believers alike remain accountable before God. James 4:6 says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”    The safest place for any believer is humble submission to God’s Word, timing, and ordained order. Those who exalt themselves eventually fall, but those who fear God will be established.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome impunity.

POWER IS TRANSIENT

The strong man hindering your prosperity shall fall and not rise again because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: POWER IS TRANSIENT

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Power is transient. No throne, empire, government, or earthly ruler lasts forever. History repeatedly proves the truth declared in Scripture: “I have seen a wicked, violent man spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more” (Psalm 37:35–36 AMP). Human power may appear unstoppable for a season, but God remains the eternal Judge over all nations and rulers.

Pharaoh oppressed Israel with brutal slavery, yet his army perished in the Red Sea (Exodus 14:27–28). Nebuchadnezzar boasted in his greatness, but God humbled him until he acknowledged that “the Most High rules over the kingdom of mankind” (Daniel 4:32). Herod accepted worship as a god, and immediately judgment struck him (Acts 12:21–23). Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin, and many feared dictators once terrified nations, yet today they are gone, while millions still remember the destruction their pride caused. Their power could not save them from death or divine accountability.

The Bible warns, “Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. His spirit departs, he returns to the earth” (Psalm 146:3–4 AMP). Earthly authority fades like grass, but God’s kingdom is everlasting (Daniel 2:44).

This truth is both a warning and a comfort. It warns leaders against pride, oppression, and corruption. It comforts the oppressed that wickedness will not reign forever. Therefore, place your confidence not in politicians, wealthy men, or earthly systems, but in Jesus Christ, the eternal King whose dominion shall never end (Revelation 11:15).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

THE CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES OF TRIBALISM IN GOVERNANCE

Your family shall be far from disaster because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES OF TRIBALISM IN GOVERNANCE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Text: Judges 9:1–57

The story of Gideon’s son, Abimelech, stands as a sobering warning against tribalism, identity politics, and selfish ambition in governance. After Gideon’s death, Abimelech did not seek God’s will or national unity; instead, he manipulated tribal loyalty to gain political power. He traveled to Shechem and appealed to his maternal relatives, asking, “Which is better for you, that seventy men rule over you, or that one rule over you?” (Judges 9:2). By exploiting ethnic and family ties, he convinced them to support his selfish agenda.

The men of Shechem financed Abimelech’s conspiracy with money taken from the temple of Baal-berith, and he used it to hire violent men who murdered Gideon’s seventy sons on one stone (Judges 9:5). Governance founded on tribal favoritism, corruption, bloodshed, and ungodly compromise can never produce peace. What begins with division often ends in destruction.

Jotham, the lone surviving son, prophetically warned through a parable that Abimelech was like an unworthy thornbush whose leadership would eventually consume both ruler and followers (Judges 9:7–20). Three years later, God sent a spirit of discord between Abimelech and Shechem (Judges 9:23). Those once united by tribal interests became bitter enemies. Suspicion, betrayal, and violence replaced loyalty.

The alliance collapsed into civil war. Abimelech destroyed Shechem, burning its leaders alive, while he himself met a humiliating death when a woman dropped a millstone upon his head (Judges 9:53). The man who seized power through violence perished violently.

This story teaches a timeless truth: leadership built on tribalism, nepotism, hatred, and selfish ambition will ultimately collapse. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). Godly governance requires justice, integrity, and unity—not tribal loyalty. Nations prosper when leaders fear God and pursue righteousness above ethnic, political, or personal gain (Psalm 33:12).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

FILLED WITH POWER TO CONFRONT SIN

You shall be an instrument for the manifestation of the miraculous because of the anointing of God's favour upon you
Good -Life Devotional: FILLED WITH POWER TO CONFRONT SIN

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
“But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.” — Micah 3:8
The power of God is not merely for emotional excitement, crowds, or popularity. In Scripture, divine power is closely connected with holiness, truth, and the courage to confront sin. The prophet Micah declared that he was “full of power” because the Spirit of God empowered him to expose transgression, not entertain sinners.
Many modern ministries desire miracles but avoid preaching repentance for fear of losing members, offerings, influence, or social acceptance. Yet throughout Scripture, God’s power flowed through men who boldly confronted sin. Jesus Christ openly rebuked hypocrisy in Matthew 23, calling religious leaders blind guides and whitewashed tombs. John the Baptist confronted Herod’s immorality even though it cost him his life (Mark 6:17–29). Samuel rebuked Saul’s disobedience (1 Samuel 15:22–23), and God continued to use him mightily.
Sin hinders the manifestation of God’s power. Isaiah 59:1–2 says our iniquities separate us from God. The apostles walked in extraordinary power because they upheld holiness. Through Paul the Apostle, “special miracles” occurred (Acts 19:11–12), and he ministered “through mighty signs and wonders” (Romans 15:19). Stephen was “full of faith and power” (Acts 6:8) because he stood boldly for truth. In Acts 5, Peter judged the deception of Ananias and Sapphira, and great fear came upon the church. God’s power and God’s judgment often go hand in hand.
The grace of God is not permission to continue in sin. Titus 2:11–12 teaches that grace trains us to deny ungodliness. True revival comes when preachers are filled with the Spirit and fearless in proclaiming righteousness.
PRAYER Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive your Holy Spirit.
Lord, fill Your church again with holy boldness. Raise up ministers who will preach truth without compromise and believers who hunger for righteousness more than entertainment. Let Your power flow once more through lives that are holy, obedient, and surrendered to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

WHEN BAD GOVERNANCE BREAKS THE HOME

Your family shall not fall apart but shall wax strong in overwhelming peace and love .

Good -Life Devotional: WHEN BAD GOVERNANCE BREAKS THE HOME

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The Bible shows that leadership affects the moral and social condition of a nation. In Isaiah 3:12, the prophet lamented the collapse of righteous leadership in Judah. Corrupt and irresponsible governance brought oppression, confusion, poverty, and suffering upon the people. When leaders fail, families suffer first.

Isaiah further described how societal decay affected women. In Isaiah 3:16-24, many women became consumed with outward survival, vanity, and desperate pursuits because the nation itself was under judgment and disorder. Economic hardship, insecurity, and broken systems often push people into compromising situations. Even today, bad governance can delay marriages, destroy responsible young men through unemployment and frustration, and push some women toward immoral relationships for financial survival.

God never intended society to function this way. Scripture says, “Righteousness exalts a nation” (Proverbs 14:34). When justice disappears, homes become unstable. Ecclesiastes 10:16-17 warns about nations ruled by immature or careless leaders, while 1 Timothy 2:1-2 teaches believers to pray for leaders so people may live peaceful and dignified lives.

Yet God still calls His people to holiness despite difficult conditions. Ruth remained virtuous in hardship, and God honored her with restoration (Ruth 3:11). Believers must resist desperation, maintain godly character, and trust God’s provision.

Pray for righteous leadership, economic justice, and restored families. A nation guided by wisdom creates an atmosphere where marriages flourish, women are honored, and homes are strengthened under God’s blessing.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to reconcile broken families .

HOW CAN AFRICA BE FREE FROM FOREIGN DEBT BURDEN ( part 2)

The  arms of the oppressor shall be broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional : HOW CAN AFRICA BE FREE FROM FOREIGN DEBT BURDEN  ( part 2)
By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
6. PROMOTE ETHICAL AND VISIONARY LEADERSHIP
Leadership is one of the biggest factors in national prosperity or decline. The Bible says:
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice…” —  Proverbs 29:2
Nations prosper when leaders prioritize national development over personal enrichment.
7. RENEGOTIATE UNFAIR DEBT STRUCTURES
Some debts carry extremely difficult repayment conditions or high interest burdens. African countries can negotiate: Longer repayment periods,
Lower interest rates, Debt restructuring,  Partial debt forgiveness
Several countries have already pursued this through institutions like the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
8. INVEST IN AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY
Africa possesses vast fertile land, yet many nations import food heavily. Food imports drain foreign reserves and increase debt pressure.
Modernized agriculture can: Create jobs, Reduce imports, Increase exports
Strengthen currencies and reduce insecurity.
9. BUILD STRONG INSTITUTIONS INSTEAD OF STRONG INDIVIDUALS
Stable courts, reliable central banks, transparent electoral systems, and independent institutions create investor confidence and economic stability.
Countries that depend too heavily on one leader often struggle after leadership changes.
10. ENCOURAGE EDUCATION, INNOVATION, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
A continent driven by skilled youth, innovation, and business creation becomes economically independent over time.
Africa’s greatest resource is not minerals — it is its people.
From a biblical perspective, economic freedom is connected to wisdom, diligence, justice, and stewardship.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance…” —  Proverbs 21:5
“You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth…” —  Deuteronomy 8:18
Africa’s future does not have to be permanent dependence. With wise leadership, accountability, productive economies, and unity, many nations can gradually move from debt dependency toward economic sovereignty.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for good governance through credible electoral processes .
PRAYER:  Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance.

HOW CAN AFRICA BE FREE FROM FOREIGN DEBT BURDENS ( Part 1

The enemy's strategy to keep you in bondage shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: HOW CAN AFRICA BE FREE FROM FOREIGN DEBT BURDENS  ( Part 1

)
By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Africa can reduce and eventually break free from crippling foreign debt, but it requires a combination of economic discipline, political integrity, regional cooperation, and long-term development strategies. Debt itself is not always evil; the problem comes when nations borrow irresponsibly, when loans are tied to exploitative conditions, or when borrowed funds are stolen or wasted instead of invested productively.
Here are some practical ways African nations can become freer from foreign debt burdens:
1. FIGHT CORRUPTION AND FINANCIAL MISMANAGEMENT
A large percentage of borrowed money never reaches the people because of corruption, inflated contracts, and capital flight. Transparent governance, independent anti-corruption agencies, and public accountability are essential.
The Bible warns:
“The borrower is servant to the lender.” — Proverbs 22:7 (AMP)
When leaders misuse public funds, citizens become trapped in generations of repayment.
2. BORROW FOR PRODUCTION, NOT CONSUMPTION
Loans should build infrastructure, agriculture, energy, technology, and industries that generate income — not just fund political spending or luxury projects.
Good debt creates productivity; bad debt creates dependence.
Examples of productive investment:
Manufacturing industries, Rail and transport systems, Power generation
Agricultural processing, Technology hubs, Education and vocational training
3. STRENGTHEN INTRA-AFRICAN TRADE
Africa exports raw materials cheaply and imports finished goods expensively. This weakens local currencies and increases borrowing needs.
The African Continental Free Trade Area aims to increase trade among African nations so the continent can produce more internally instead of depending heavily on foreign imports.
4. DEVELOP LOCAL INDUSTRIES AND VALUE ADDITION
Instead of exporting crude oil, cocoa, gold, lithium, or cotton in raw form, African nations can process them locally and earn far greater revenue.
For example:
Cocoa → chocolate industry
Crude oil → refined petroleum products
Lithium → battery manufacturing
Cotton → textile industries
This keeps wealth within the continent.
5. REDUCE DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN AID
Some countries remain trapped because their economies are structured around external assistance. Long-term freedom requires self-sustaining economies through:
Tax reform, Entrepreneurship,
Industrialization, Agricultural modernization,
Innovation
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's Word and the removal of selfiesh leaders and for good governance in our nations .
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome stagnation.

ULTIMATE BENEFICIARIES OF FOREIGN LOANS TO AFRICA (Part 2)

Extraordinary financial favours shall locate you because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: ULTIMATE BENEFICIARIES OF FOREIGN LOANS TO AFRICA (Part 2)

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
4. CORRUPT POLITICAL ELITES
In some nations, portions of foreign loans are diverted through corruption to offshore accounts  and through inflated contracts, and private enrichment.
The Bible strongly rebukes corrupt leadership: “Your rulers are rebels and companions of thieves; everyone loves bribes and runs after gifts.” — Isaiah 1:23 (AMP)
“Moreover, you shall select from all the people competent men… men who are trustworthy and hate dishonest gain.” — Exodus 18:21 (AMP)
5. FINANCIAL MARKETS AND PRIVATE LENDERS
Private lenders and global financial markets often profit through:
Interest payments, Debt restructuring
Currency manipulation,  Long-term dependency
The scripture in Ecclesiastes describes economic oppression that can occur in fallen systems:
“If you see oppression of the poor and denial of justice and righteousness in the province, do not be shocked at the sight.” — Ecclesiastes 5:8 (AMP)
WHO OFTEN SUFFERS? Usually:
The Citizens, Farmers resulting in high cost of food , The Youths become disadvantaged and poor resulting in increased criminality, Small businesses fail due to increase in the cost of services and production , Marriages fail and singles cannot marry due to poverty caused by such loans .The Future generations has no hope as the are born into poverty with debts hanging over their necks .
As governments repay debts, citizens may experience: Higher taxes
Inflation, Reduced healthcare and education spending, Unemployment
The Bible repeatedly calls leaders to defend people, not exploit them:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves… defend the rights of the poor and needy.” — Proverbs 31:8–9 (AMP)
“He who oppresses the poor taunts and insults his Maker, but he who is kind and merciful to the needy honors Him.” — Proverbs 14:31 (AMP)
BIBLICAL BALANCE
Not all foreign loans are evil. In some cases, they help build roads, hospitals, schools, power systems, and infrastructure. The real issue is:
transparency, wise stewardship, accountability, avoiding corruption,
and ensuring that borrowing benefits the people rather than enslaving future generations.
Joseph in Egypt is an example of wise economic planning during crisis in Book of Genesis 41, showing that financial management can preserve nations when guided by wisdom and integrity.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage.” — Proverbs 21:5 (AMP)
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for the removal of corrupt leaders and  for godly leadership in our nation.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to walk in integrity.

ULTIMATE BENEFICIARIES OF FOREIGN LOANS TO AFRICA ( part 1)

The yoke of indebtedness and poverty shall be broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

ULTIMATE BENEFICIARIES OF FOREIGN LOANS TO AFRICA ( part 1)

By  Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The ultimate beneficiaries of many foreign loans to African countries are often a combination of foreign powers, international financial institutions, multinational corporations, local political elites, and sometimes corrupt networks — while ordinary citizens frequently carry the repayment burden through taxes, inflation, austerity, and reduced public services.

1. INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

Organizations like the International Monetary Fund and World Bank provide loans with conditions that often influence national economic policies. The Bible warns about the power imbalance debt can create:

“The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.” — Proverbs 22:7 (AMP)

“Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another.” — Romans 13:8 (AMP)

These verses highlight how debt can gradually reduce economic freedom and national independence.

2. FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS AND GLOBAL POWERS

Countries such as China, the United States, and other powerful nations may use loans to gain strategic influence, access to minerals, oil, ports, or political leverage.

Scripture warns against surrendering inheritance and sovereignty through poor leadership and exploitation:

“Her leaders within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain.” — Ezekiel 22:27 (AMP)

“Woe (judgment is coming) to those who enact evil statutes and to those who constantly record unjust decisions.” — Isaiah 10:1 (AMP)

3. MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS

  Foreign corporations often gain:

Construction contracts, Resource extraction rights,  Tax advantages

Long-term economic influence

The Bible condemns exploitative systems that enrich the powerful while burdening the weak:

“They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them away. They rob and oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance.” — Micah 2:2 (AMP)

“Look! The wages that you have [fraudulently] withheld from the laborers… are crying out [against you].” — James 5:4 (AMP)

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and the frustration of corrupt alliances in our nation.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive us of our sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome corruption.

HOW AFRICA IS BEING ENSLAVED THROUGH FOREIGN DEBTS

The yoke of indebtedness is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: HOW  AFRICA IS BEING ENSLAVED THROUGH FOREIGN DEBTS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Many African nations gained political independence in the twentieth century, yet many scholars, economists, and African leaders argue that a new form of control exists through unsustainable foreign debt, unfair trade systems, and dependence on international financial institutions. This is often described as “debt slavery” or “neo-colonialism.” While loans can help development when managed wisely, debt can become a tool of pressure when repayment conditions weaken sovereignty, force harsh economic policies, or keep nations trapped in poverty cycles.

The Bible warns about the dangers of debt and financial domination .  Proverbs teaches: “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender’s slave” (Proverbs 22:7 AMP). This verse reflects how nations heavily dependent on foreign loans may lose economic freedom and bargaining power.

Many African countries borrow to build infrastructure, stabilize currencies, or fund national budgets. However, high interest rates, corruption, currency devaluation, and unfair global market systems can make repayment difficult. In some cases, countries spend more on debt servicing than on healthcare, education, agriculture, or job creation. This weakens development and increases dependence on more borrowing.

The Bible also condemns exploitative economic systems. African leaders engaged in this are described in Psalms 37:21 " " The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: ..." Habakkuk warned against those who enrich themselves through unjust gain: “Woe to him who increases that which is not his—how long? And makes himself rich with loans” (Habakkuk 2:6 AMP). Likewise, Isaiah 10:1–2 condemns policies that deprive the poor of justice.

Some critics point to structural adjustment programs imposed by institutions like the International Monetary Fund and World Bank in past decades. These programs sometimes require cuts in subsidies, privatization, or austerity measures that hurt ordinary citizens while protecting creditor interests. Others argue these institutions also provide necessary financial support and reforms. The issue is therefore complex and cannot be reduced to a single narrative.

Scripture encourages wisdom, stewardship, and economic justice:

“Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another” (Romans 13:8 AMP).

Joseph’s economic planning in Genesis 41 shows the importance of saving and preparation during seasons of abundance.

Deuteronomy 15 promotes debt release and care for struggling people, showing God’s concern against perpetual economic bondage.

Africa’s long-term freedom will require righteous leadership, transparency, reduced corruption, strategic investment, industrial growth, education, fair trade partnerships, and economic self-reliance. Psalm 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”    Spiritual renewal must be joined with wisdom, justice, and responsible governance for nations to truly prosper.

TRIBALISM IS FORBIDDEN IN CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM .

You shall continue to make remarkable progress despite the odds against you because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:
TRIBALISM IS FORBIDDEN IN CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM .

By Michael Benson Ajayi
Both faiths acknowledge human diversity while condemning prejudice, oppression, and blind ethnic loyalty.
In Islam, the Quran teaches that ethnic and tribal differences are part of God’s design for human interaction and understanding, not superiority or hatred. Quran Surah 49:13 directly ties honor before God to righteousness rather than ethnicity.     The Prophet Muhammad also condemned asabiyyah — supporting one’s tribe in wrongdoing — because justice must come before tribal loyalty.
Christianity teaches the same moral principle. The Bible emphasizes that human worth comes from being created by God, not from ethnicity, class, or nationality. In Epistle to the Galatians 3:28, unity in Christ breaks barriers that people use to divide one another. The vision in Book of Revelation 7:9 also shows people from every tribe and nation worshipping together, which affirms diversity without endorsing division.
Both religions therefore distinguish between:
IDENTITY — recognizing family, culture, language, tribe, or nation.
TRIBALISM — treating one group as superior, justifying injustice, or hating others because of ethnicity.
Both traditions ultimately call people toward:
justice over favoritism,
compassion over prejudice,
and unity under God over ethnic supremacy.
This is especially relevant in societies where political, ethnic, or religious divisions create conflict. The ethical teachings of both faiths challenge believers to judge people by character, righteousness, and justice rather than tribe or race.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and unity in our communities and failure of the against of division .
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote unity .

SHORT LEADERSHIP, LASTING LEGACY

You are marked for extraordinary promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional: SHORT LEADERSHIP, LASTING LEGACY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The Bible contains many examples of leaders whose influence far exceeded the length of their reign or ministry. Their stories prove that a God-centered life can create lasting impact in a brief season.

Hezekiah quickly restored temple worship and trusted God during a national crisis when the Assyrians threatened Jerusalem (2 Kings 18–19). His faith brought divine deliverance, and the nation witnessed God’s power. Though his reign faced challenges, his trust in God inspired the people greatly.

Deborah arose during a difficult time in Israel’s history. Through wisdom, courage, and spiritual leadership, she helped deliver Israel from oppression and brought peace to the land (Judges 4–5). Her leadership encouraged a fearful nation to rise again.

John the Baptist had a brief ministry, yet he prepared the way for Jesus Christ and called multitudes to repentance. His voice shook an entire generation spiritually. Stephen also ministered for a short time, but his bold witness strengthened the early church and influenced future believers, including Paul the Apostle.

Psalm 90:12 says, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” God is not looking for people who merely occupy positions for long periods; He seeks those who will use their opportunities faithfully. A short season filled with obedience can produce eternal results. Ask God to make your life fruitful, impactful, and pleasing to Him regardless of how long your season may be.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome injustice.

PRAYER CHAINS ARE NEEDED TO OVERCOME OPPRESSIVE REGIMES AND SATANIC AGENDAS

The more the opposition against you , the more shall be your promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional; PRAYER CHAINS ARE NEEDED TO OVERCOME OPPRESSIVE REGIMES AND SATANIC  AGENDAS

 By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Throughout Scripture, God reveals the power of united, persistent prayer in confronting oppression, wicked rulers, and satanic agendas. In The Book of Isaiah 62:6–7, the Lord says, “I have set watchmen upon thy walls… they shall never hold their peace day nor night.” This is the picture of a prayer chain — believers standing continually before God until righteousness and deliverance break forth. Prayer is spiritual warfare against evil systems.

A powerful example appears in Acts of the Apostles 12. King Herod Agrippa I killed James and discovered that it pleased his supporters.    Emboldened by public approval, he arrested Peter also. Yet the church responded differently this time. The Bible says, “Prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him” (Acts 12:5).     They formed a continual prayer chain, crying to God day and night. Heaven answered with angelic intervention, Peter’s miraculous release, and divine judgment upon Herod in Acts 12:23.

The lesson is clear: prayer disrupts the plans of darkness. Evil thrives when believers are silent, but chains of persistent intercession release divine intervention. First Epistle to the Thessalonians 5:17 commands believers to “pray without ceasing,” keeping the fire of faith burning for the miraculous. Second Epistle to the Corinthians 10:4 declares that “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God.” Likewise, The Gospel of Matthew 18:19 teaches that when believers agree together in prayer, heaven responds with power. United prayer remains one of God’s greatest weapons against oppression and evil regimes.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and discipline for fervent prayers .

SHALL PUT TEN THOUSAND TO FLIGHT

Receive prophetic faith to operate the supernatural by the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:
SHALL PUT TEN THOUSAND TO FLIGHT

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
The Bible consistently emphasizes the power of unity in prayer and ministry. In Deuteronomy 32:30, Scripture declares that one shall chase a thousand, but two shall put ten thousand to flight. This is a picture of spiritual multiplication. When believers unite in prayer and agreement, their effectiveness increases far beyond individual strength.
Jesus Himself demonstrated this principle by sending His disciples out two by two in The Gospel of Mark 6:7. Partnership in ministry provided support, accountability, encouragement, and protection. When one became weary, the other could strengthen him. When one faced opposition, the other stood beside him in faith. God never intended believers to fight spiritual battles alone.
Prayer partners also help preserve spiritual discipline and accountability. In difficult seasons, they remind one another of God’s promises and encourage repentance, faith, and perseverance. Most importantly, Jesus promised in The Gospel of Matthew 18:20 that where two or three gather in His name, He is present among them. The presence of Christ accompanies united prayer.
Therefore, every believer should value godly relationships and faithful prayer partners. A praying companion can help carry burdens, resist temptation, and strengthen faith during life’s trials. Following Christ’s example in Luke 22:32, we are called not only to pray for ourselves, but also to uphold others so that their faith will not fail.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and spiritual partnership for a victorious Christian living.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for effective prayers.

CHRIST THE INTERCESSOR

The stronghold of the enemy is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: CHRIST THE INTERCESSOR

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In The Gospel of Luke 22:32, Jesus told Peter, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail.” This statement reveals the power and necessity of intercessory prayer. Satan desired to sift Peter like wheat, yet before the attack intensified, Jesus had already gone ahead in prayer. Christ did not pray that Peter would avoid the trial entirely, but that his faith would survive the storm. This teaches believers that prayer is not merely for comfort, but for preservation and endurance.

Peter stumbled by denying Christ, but he did not permanently fall away because the sustaining grace of God upheld him.   The Lord’s intercession became Peter’s lifeline during his weakest moment. Later, the same Peter who once trembled before a servant girl became a bold apostle strengthening the church. This demonstrates that a believer who is prayed for can recover, grow, and become a source of strength to others.

The Christian life was never designed for isolation.    Every believer needs someone who will stand in the gap spiritually during seasons of temptation, discouragement, or weakness. A praying partner becomes a spiritual shield and a channel of God’s encouragement. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 declares, “Two are better than one… For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.” Intercession is therefore an act of love that protects faith and restores strength.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for the lord to raise intercessors in his church (Isaiah 62:6)

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome sin .

STRATEGIC MOVEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE PROGRESS.

The stronghold of the wicked is hereby broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: STRATEGIC MOVEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE PROGRESS.

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Strategic movement is a vital principle for sustainable progress. In Genesis 26, Isaac faced repeated opposition as the Philistines contested the wells he dug. Instead of engaging in endless conflict, he chose a wiser path—he kept moving. From Esek (contention) to Sitnah (enmity), and finally to Rehoboth (room), Isaac demonstrated that progress often requires discernment, patience, and timely relocation. At Rehoboth, he declared, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land” (Genesis 26:22 AMP).    His breakthrough was not accidental; it was the result of strategic persistence guided by God.

This principle is echoed by Jesus Christ in Matthew 10:23, where He instructs His disciples that when they are persecuted in one city, they should move to another. This is not retreat but divine strategy—knowing when to stay and when to advance elsewhere preserves purpose and momentum.

Scripture reinforces this wisdom. Proverbs 3:5–6 urges believers to trust in the Lord for direction, promising that He will make their paths straight. Likewise, Isaiah 48:17 reveals God as the One who teaches us to profit and leads us in the way we should go. Psalm 37:23 affirms that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

Sustainable progress is rarely achieved by stubborn resistance alone; it often requires strategic movement under divine guidance. Like Isaac, when faced with resistance, we must discern God’s leading, move when necessary, and trust Him to bring us into our “Rehoboth”—a place of expansion, peace, and lasting fruitfulness.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and resilience against oppressive systems .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive Him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome stagnation.

THE GIFT OF FAITH VS GENERAL FAITH

Receive faith for a  supernatural intervention because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE GIFT OF FAITH VS GENERAL FAITH

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The gift of faith, described in 1 Corinthians 12:9 as "special faith" or "wonder-working faith" given by the same Spirit, is distinct from the saving faith that comes by hearing the Word of God. It is a supernatural impartation—a "mustard seed" of God’s own faith—given instantly to a believer to trust Him for a miraculous event that is otherwise impossible.

This gift is characterized by bold, fearless proclamation and a "passive" reception of miracles, where God honors the believer's word as His own.

KEY DIFFERENCES: GIFT OF FAITH vs. GENERAL FAITH

Source: General faith is grown through the Word (Romans 10:17); the gift of faith is bestowed sovereignly by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11).

Duration: General faith is a "fruit" (faithfulness) cultivated over time (Galatians 5:22); the gift of faith is a temporary, instantaneous impartation for a specific task.

Action: It often acts as a catalyst for other power gifts, such as miracles and healings.

Biblical Examples of the Gift of Faith

Peter Walking on Water (Matthew 14:28-33): Peter supernaturally walked on water when prompted by Jesus, demonstrating the gift of faith until fear caused him to revert to human faith. [1]

Elijah and the Drought (1 Kings 17:1): Elijah operated in the gift of faith when he declared, "There will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word." He knew God would back his prophetic word.

Daniel in the Lions’ Den (Daniel 6:16-23): Daniel displayed the passive gift of faith, trusting God entirely for protection, allowing him to sleep among the lions.

Peter Raising Dorcas (Acts 9:37-43): Peter was given a special impartation of faith to say, "Tabitha, arise!" to bring a dead woman back to life.

Paul and Elymas (Acts 13:6-13): Paul was given special faith to declare that the magician Elymas would be blind for a season, resulting in immediate blindness.

PROPHESYING ACCORDING TO FAITH

The Bible tells us to use our gifts, especially prophecy, in proportion to our faith.

Romans 12:6 (NIV): "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith."

1 Corinthians 13:2: "...if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." This highlights that even the gift of faith must be operated in love.

ASKING FOR THE GIFT FOR MINISTRY

The gift of faith is highly beneficial for ministry, particularly for evangelists, missionaries, and church planters facing impossible situations. It can be requested of the Holy Spirit to bring about:

PRESERVATION: Supernatural protection in danger (Daniel).

PROVISION: Supernatural sustenance (Elijah).

PROCLAMATION: Boldly declaring God's will to see it fulfilled.

TRANSPORTATION: Being moved by the Spirit.

Other Supporting Bible Verses:

Mark 11:22-23: "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."

Hebrews 11:33-34: Describes those who "through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions..." (a reference to the gift of faith).

2 Timothy 1:6: Paul instructs Timothy to "fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you."

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and the gift of faith.

HE FRUSTRATES THE EVIL ENTERPRISE

The enemy shall fall into the trap that they have set up for you because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional: HE FRUSTRATES THE EVIL ENTERPRISE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Scripture reveals a comforting truth: no matter how cunning or well-planned evil may seem, God ultimately overturns it. “He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot attain success” (Job 5:12, AMP). The schemes of the wicked are never beyond God’s reach; He sees, He intervenes, and He nullifies their outcomes.

In Isaiah 44:25, God declares that He “frustrates the signs of liars and makes fools of diviners.” This reminds us that deception, manipulation, and false counsel cannot stand before divine wisdom. What appears clever to men is foolishness before God.

A powerful example is found in 2 Samuel 17:14, where the counsel of Ahithophel—known for its accuracy—was rejected.   Though his advice could have secured victory against King David, the Scripture says, “the Lord had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, so that the Lord might bring harm on Absalom.” God Himself intervened to protect His anointed and overturn a dangerous plot.

This pattern is consistent throughout Scripture. Psalm 33:10 declares, “The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the thoughts of the peoples ineffective.” Likewise, Proverbs 19:21 reminds us, “Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.”

As believers, we take refuge in this truth: no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).     When evil rises, God remains sovereign. He defends the righteous, redirects outcomes, and ensures that His purposes prevail.

Trust Him. Even when plots seem advanced, God is already at work—frustrating evil and securing your victory.

In our daily prayers, we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and resilience in the face of oppression and removal of the oppressor .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to destroy the works of the evil one.

MEN AND WOMEN WHO CHOOSE INTEGRITY OFTEN WALK A DIFFICULT PATH.

The plans of the enemy against you shall backfire because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional: MEN AND WOMEN WHO CHOOSE INTEGRITY OFTEN WALK A DIFFICULT PATH.

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Scripture does not hide this reality—it prepares us for it. Jesus said in Luke 6:22 that we are blessed when people hate us, exclude us, and insult us because of our stand for Him. Integrity provokes opposition because it exposes darkness. Those who refuse corruption, compromise, or injustice become targets in a world that often rewards the opposite.

David understood this deeply. In Psalm 38:19–20, he laments how his enemies are strong and repay his good with evil simply because he pursues what is right. Yet, the story does not end in suffering. God is not indifferent to the righteous. Psalm 37:23–24 assures us that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. Even if they stumble, they will not fall completely, because God holds them by the hand.

While the wicked may seem powerful for a time, their end is certain. Psalm 37:14, 35–36 reveals that their schemes will backfire—they rise like a flourishing tree, but suddenly they are gone and cannot be found. Evil is temporary; righteousness is eternal.

Therefore, do not be discouraged by hatred or opposition. Stand firm in integrity. Psalm 37:37–39 reminds us that the blameless will have peace in the end, while the wicked will be destroyed. God Himself is the deliverer of the righteous.

Hold fast to what is right. Even when hated, you are upheld. Even when opposed, you are guided. And in the end, God will vindicate you and grant you peace.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and frustration of corrupt systems and the promotion of righteous men in our societies.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance .

BREAKING SPIRITUAL OPPRESSION OVER THE NATION

The curse of stagnation and confusion is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:
BREAKING SPIRITUAL OPPRESSION OVER THE NATION

By Michael Benson Ajayi
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with great power; and how He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him” (Acts 10:38, AMP).
This scripture reveals both the source of oppression and the divine answer. Oppression is not merely political, economic, or social—it has spiritual roots. Yet Jesus Christ demonstrated God’s will: to heal, deliver, and restore all who are under the bondage of the enemy. Therefore, believers are called to actively partner with God through prayer to break every satanic influence enforcing oppression over the nation.
Spiritual strongholds can infiltrate governance when leaders yield allegiance to ungodly systems, ideologies, or secret influences that promote corruption, injustice, and violence. Proverbs 29:2 declares, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” This calls us to intercede for leaders, that every hidden allegiance contrary to God’s righteousness be exposed and destroyed.
Scripture also warns against deceptive spiritual influences within the Church. Like Balaam (Numbers 22–24) and Bar-Jesus (Acts 13:6–12), false prophets can manipulate God’s people and lead them away from truth. Jesus warned in Matthew 7:15 to beware of false prophets who come in sheep’s clothing. Through prayer, we must break their influence and ask God to purify His Church.
In 2 Kings 18–19, Sennacherib’s pride and idolatry led to oppression, yet when the prophet Isaiah declared God’s word, judgment fell, and his reign ended (2 Kings 19:35–37). This shows that prophetic prayer and declaration can dismantle oppressive systems.
Let us pray fervently: tearing down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4–5), declaring freedom for the oppressed (Isaiah 10:27), and releasing healing over the land (2 Chronicles 7:14). As we intercede, may God bring divine freedom, righteous leadership, and spiritual revival to both the nation and the Church.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.
