TRIBALISM IS FORBIDDEN IN CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM .

  Both faiths acknowledge human diversity while condemning prejudice, oppression, and blind ethnic loyalty.
      In Islam, the Quran teaches that ethnic and tribal differences are part of God’s design for human interaction and understanding, not superiority or hatred. Quran Surah 49:13 directly ties honor before God to righteousness rather than ethnicity.     The Prophet Muhammad also condemned asabiyyah — supporting one’s tribe in wrongdoing — because justice must come before tribal loyalty.
  Christianity teaches the same moral principle. The Bible emphasizes that human worth comes from being created by God, not from ethnicity, class, or nationality. In Epistle to the Galatians 3:28, unity in Christ breaks barriers that people use to divide one another. The vision in Book of Revelation 7:9 also shows people from every tribe and nation worshipping together, which affirms diversity without endorsing division.
Both religions therefore distinguish between:
IDENTITY — recognizing family, culture, language, tribe, or nation.
TRIBALISM — treating one group as superior, justifying injustice, or hating others because of ethnicity.
Both traditions ultimately call people toward:
justice over favoritism,
compassion over prejudice,
and unity under God over ethnic supremacy.
   This is especially relevant in societies where political, ethnic, or religious divisions create conflict. The ethical teachings of both faiths challenge believers to judge people by character, righteousness, and justice rather than tribe or race.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and unity in our communities and failure of the against of division .
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote unity .
