Ecclesiastes 9:10
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."
The word  'findeth' in this scripture is the Hebrew word mâtsâ' , it means to appear , find , acquire , present . The opportunity to prosper will present itself and it's our responsibility to find them . Here is how to get about your agricultural business without money.
Tips to get started without money:
BORROW UNUSED LAND OR SPACE FROM FAMILY OR FRIENDS.
Join agricultural cooperatives or government youth farming schemes (e.g., N-Power Agro).
Barter your labor for access to land or tools. There is a bushy land that needs catering. Offer to clear it and farm on it .
URBAN FARMING  For city dwellers .

IDEAS GENERATE MONEY, NOT MONEY TO GENERATE IDEAS

The yoke of stagnation and poverty is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: IDEAS GENERATE MONEY, NOT MONEY TO GENERATE IDEAS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Many people delay their dreams, waiting for money to start a business, believing that capital is the beginning of success. Yet, in Matthew 17:27, Jesus Christ demonstrated a powerful principle: “...go to the sea, cast a hook, take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth, you will find a coin...” Instead of giving Peter money directly, Jesus gave him a divine idea that led to provision.

The modern mindset often waits for money to begin, but scripture shows that ideas—especially those aligned with solving real problems—create wealth. God gives insight, not just income. In Deuteronomy 8:18, it is written: “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth...”—not wealth itself, but the power, which includes wisdom, understanding, and creative ideas.

Waiting for money leads to frustration, as urgent needs like food and survival consume what little is available. However, ideas target needs in society. Businesses thrive when they solve problems. In Genesis 41, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and offered a strategic idea—store grain during years of abundance. This idea saved nations and brought Joseph into great wealth and honor. An example of this in the south eastern Nigeria is the Onitsha business model —emphasizing scalable, locally rooted innovation, supply chain dynamics, and community-driven entrepreneurship.

Proverbs 8:12 says, “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Every invention and breakthrough began as an idea. Instead of praying for money, ask God for wisdom and vision. When you solve a need, resources follow. Ideas attract money.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and humility to learn from more experienced persons .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

DEVELOP A SKILL TO OVERCOME POVERTY

The yoke of financial starvation is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: DEVELOP A SKILL TO OVERCOME POVERTY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Poverty is not a spiritual gift, and God has given every believer the wisdom and capacity to rise above it. One powerful principle seen in Matthew 17:27 is how Jesus responded to a financial need—not by conjuring money out of thin air, but by sending Peter to use his fishing skill to find the coin to pay the temple tax. Peter was a fisherman, not a full-time preacher living off others. Jesus honored his skill and used it to meet a need.

This challenges the idea that full-time ministry excludes working or business. On the contrary, Scripture encourages believers to be productive. Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 (AMP): "Make it your ambition to live quietly and peacefully, and to mind your own affairs and work with your hands...so that you will behave properly toward outsiders [exhibiting good character, personal integrity, and moral courage], and be dependent on no one [in need of nothing]." This is a clear call to develop a skill and mind one’s business.

Proverbs 22:29 says, “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.” Your skill is your gateway to prosperity and impact. Every Christian should aim to have both a job and a side business or trade.

Ministry is important, but laziness masked as spirituality is not. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 makes it plain: “If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.”

Develop a skill. God blesses the work of your hands—not your idleness.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and humility to learn a skill to overcome poverty.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

GODLY SORROW WORKS REPENTANCE AND SALVATION

You shall not be disgraced because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GODLY SORROW WORKS REPENTANCE AND SALVATION

Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In 1 Corinthians 5, the Apostle Paul confronts a grievous sin within the Corinthian church—adultery and incest, which the congregation shamefully tolerated. A man had taken his father's wife, and rather than mourning, the church was proud. Paul sternly rebuked them, saying, "Should you not rather have mourned?" (v.2). He did not hesitate to judge the matter, commanding the church to expel the offender “so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord” (v.5).

In 2 Corinthians 7, Paul reflects on that rebuke. Though he momentarily regretted the sorrow it caused, he never regretted taking firm action. Why? Because their sorrow was godly, not worldly. Paul wrote, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death” (v.10). The Greek word for repentance is metanoia, meaning a change of mind and direction—a full turning from sin. Salvation in Greek is sōtēria, signifying deliverance, preservation, and wholeness in Christ.

Verse 11 highlights the fruit of godly sorrow: “What earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment!” The word for revenge or punishment in Greek, ekdikēsis, implies a righteous avenging of sin—a desire to right the wrong. These are marks of true revival.

Tragically, many modern preachers avoid rebuke to preserve attendance and offerings. But this compromise has led to moral decay in both the church and society. Proverbs 27:5 says, “Better is open rebuke than hidden love.” Revelation 3:19 declares, “Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline.”

Holy rebukes protects businesses , dreams and  families from falling apart .

A church without holy rebuke is a church without holiness. Godly sorrow is painful—but it works repentance, restoration, and a renewed fear of God. Let the church rise again in truth.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and hearts open to holy rebukes .

PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to live in holiness.

PROTECTION FROM BEWITCHMENT OF THE FALSE PROPHET

Your situation is not hopeless uncommon help shall locate because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: PROTECTION FROM BEWITCHMENT OF THE FALSE PROPHET

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Bewitchment by false prophets is a real and dangerous spiritual attack aimed at terminating the ministries of righteous preachers. In 1 Kings 13:18–29, a young prophet, sent by God with specific instructions, was deceived and killed after disobeying God’s command. He was misled by an old prophet who claimed divine revelation. This tragic incident warns believers against listening to anyone—even another preacher—if their words contradict what God has already told you.

False prophets operate under the influence of lying spirits. In 1 Kings 22:19–23, God allowed a lying spirit to deceive King Ahab through Zedekiah and 400 prophets because of their reprobate minds. This shows that continued rebellion can open one up to strong delusion (2 Thessalonians 2:10–12), making one an agent of deception.

False prophets trade with lies (Jeremiah 14:14), and their goal is to derail, discredit, or destroy true ministries. These Liars shall end in the lake of fire ( Rev . 21;8) Paul warned against this when he rebuked the Galatian church, saying, “Who has bewitched you?” (Galatians 3:1). These deceivers had secretly crept in (Jude 4), turning the grace of God into license for sin.

One practical defense is found in 1 Corinthians 5:11: “Do not even eat with such a one.” Avoid spiritual fellowship, especially meals, with preachers of questionable character, particularly during seasons of fasting when God has instructed separation.

Guard your heart, discern spirits (1 John 4:1), and remain in obedience to God's clear Word. Let no one bewitched by lies abort your divine assignment.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to preach against falsehood.

PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil manipulations.

THE PREACHER WHO EQUATES WEALTH WITH GODLINESS SHALL NOT ENTER HEAVEN

What was meant to bring about your demotion shall lead to your promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE PREACHER WHO EQUATES WEALTH WITH GODLINESS SHALL NOT ENTER HEAVEN

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The modern gospel of prosperity—preaching that equates wealth with godliness—is a deception that endangers the soul. Scripture warns repeatedly against those who manipulate God's Word for personal gain. “In their greed they will exploit you with false words” (2 Peter 2:3, AMP), Peter writes, warning of God’s past judgments as a reminder that He will not spare the corrupt (vv. 4–5).

Paul also cautions, “If anyone teaches a different doctrine...that godliness is a means of gain...from such withdraw yourself” (1 Timothy 6:3–5). He continues, “For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil” (v.10), urging the faithful to flee such desires and pursue righteousness (v.11).

Many who preach wealth as a sign of divine favor reflect the spirit of Laodicea, whom Jesus rebuked: “You say, ‘I am rich...’ and do not know that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked” (Revelation 3:17). Christ’s words in Matthew 7:21–23 pierce deeper: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom... I will declare, ‘I never knew you.’” These verses warn that external success does not equal spiritual approval.

Those who follow such preachers may be given over to delusion, “so that they will believe the lie” and be condemned (2 Thessalonians 2:10–12).

God calls us to be discerning. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked” (Galatians 6:7). Instead, seek Christ—not wealth—as the true treasure (Colossians 2:3).

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to preach righteousness.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to prosper .

THE CONSEQUENCES OF BLOOD GUILT ON A NATION ( part 1)

You shall not be defeated by the enemy because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

THE CONSEQUENCES OF BLOOD GUILT ON A NATION ( part 1)

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Blood guilt is a spiritual defilement that brings judgment upon individuals and nations. Scripture reveals that when innocent blood is shed—whether through murder, judicial corruption, or spiritual compromise—there are serious consequences. In 1 Corinthians 11:27, Paul warns that partaking of the Lord’s Supper unworthily brings guilt concerning the body and blood of Christ, highlighting the danger of spiritual insensitivity to blood guilt.

The Apostle Paul himself felt constrained by the Spirit not to avoid his duty to proclaim truth, lest he become blood-guilty (Acts 20:22, 26). When rejected by the Jews in Corinth, he declared, “Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean” (Acts 18:6), indicating that failure to warn or confront sin could render one guilty.

Blood guilt cries out to God. The souls of martyrs cry from under the altar for justice (Revelation 6:9–10), and the beheaded saints will live again (Revelation 20:4), indicating that unjust murder demands divine reckoning. Pilate’s symbolic handwashing did not absolve his guilt for condemning the innocent Christ (Matthew 27:24). Likewise, judges and lawyers today who knowingly condemn the innocent share in this guilt.

Even preachers can be guilty by endorsing or praying for the survival and prosperity of the unrepentant wicked, violating God’s justice (Ezekiel 13:19). Paul warns not to lay hands on anyone suddenly, lest we share in their sins (1 Timothy 5:22).

One of the most grievous sources of national blood guilt today is abortion. In Leviticus 20:2 and Jeremiah 32:35, child sacrifice is condemned as provoking God’s wrath—paralleling modern abortion with Molech worship.

Proverbs 6:17 says God hates “hands that shed innocent blood.” To prevent judgment, nations must repent, confess their sins, and cease shedding innocent blood. As Deuteronomy 21:8–9 shows, confession and atonement are essential for cleansing the land from guilt.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to preach righteousness.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me for my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to live righteously.

Good -Life Devotional: CONSEQUENCES OF BLOOD GUILT ON A NATION ( PART 2)

SEVEN EFFECTS OF BLOOD GUILT ON A PERSON AND NATION

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

BLOOD GUILT —the shedding of innocent blood—brings severe spiritual, emotional, and societal consequences. Scripture offers sobering examples of its far-reaching effects.

RESTLESS JUDGMENT: Cain, after murdering Abel, was cursed with restlessness and alienation. God said, “You shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth” (Genesis 4:12 AMP). Blood guilt disrupts identity and peace.

DIVINE OPPOSITION: David orchestrated Uriah’s death to cover adultery with Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11). Though he repented, God declared, “The sword shall never depart from your house” (2 Samuel 12:10 AMP), illustrating how blood guilt invites God’s chastening.

NATIONAL DEFILEMENT: Blood guilt stains the land. Numbers 35:33 says, “You shall not defile the land… for blood defiles the land.” David’s act caused national suffering—his household and kingdom endured internal strife.

SPIRITUAL TORMENT: Abimelech murdered his 70 brothers to secure power. As judgment, “God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the leaders of Shechem” (Judges 9:23 AMP). Blood guilt invites demonic agitation.

LOSS OF MORAL AUTHORITY: David’s guilt weakened his leadership. His sons mimicked his sins—Amnon’s rape and Absalom’s rebellion (2 Samuel 13–15).

SHORTENED LEGACY: Joab, one of David’s mighty men, shed innocent blood (2 Samuel 3:27; 1 Kings 2:5) and was executed under Solomon’s reign. Blood guilt cut short his honor.

BROKEN COVENANT BLESSING: Shedding blood breaks alignment with God's favor, bringing curses instead of covenant blessings (Deuteronomy 27:25).

Blood guilt is not just personal—it poisons nations. Only genuine repentance and God's mercy can cleanse such deep iniquity.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to preach righteousness.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome blood guilt .

THE HIDDEN FUEL BEHIND BAD GOVERNANCE

The hindrances to your prosperity are being removed because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: Preachers Who Equate Wealth with Godliness: THE HIDDEN FUEL BEHIND BAD GOVERNANCE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In many societies today, a growing breed of preachers equate material wealth with godliness, presenting prosperity as the ultimate sign of divine favor. This distorted theology is not only misleading spiritually but also dangerous socially and politically. These preachers, driven by greed, often align themselves with corrupt leaders, forming unholy alliances that devastate nations.

Scripture warns us about such people. “They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity, and their womb prepares deceit” (Job 15:35 AMP). Their teachings encourage exploitation rather than righteousness, justifying theft and oppression under the guise of blessing. They refuse to call corrupt leaders to repentance because doing so would threaten their own access to wealth and influence. Ezekiel 13:22 condemns this: “Because with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad…and strengthened the hands of the wicked, so that he does not turn from his wicked way to be saved.”

Such preachers contribute directly to national decay. Isaiah 5:13 declares, “Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their common people are parched with thirst.” When truth is silenced and falsehood exalted, justice is perverted. These preachers often hold sway over the judicial system, twisting justice to favor their corrupt partners, as Isaiah 1:23 laments: “Your rulers are rebels and companions of thieves; everyone loves a bribe and chases after rewards.”

God’s judgment is sure. “For the company of the godless shall be barren…fire will consume their tents of bribery” (Job 15:34). “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…Therefore, as fire devours stubble, so their root will be as rottenness” (Isaiah 5:20–24). God's justice will expose and consume all who trade His truth for personal gain.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and deliverance from false preachers .

GOD’S ANGER AT LEADERSHIP AND THE CLERGY OVER UNNECESSARY DEATHS IN A NATION

The opposition against you shall result in more promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GOD’S ANGER AT LEADERSHIP AND THE CLERGY OVER UNNECESSARY DEATHS IN  A NATION

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

God holds leaders and clergy accountable for the spiritual and moral condition of a nation. In Ezekiel 11:2–12, God rebukes the leaders of Jerusalem who devise wicked counsel and shed innocent blood, comparing the city to a boiling pot of violence. “You have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you,” declares the Lord (v. 8, AMP). These leaders were meant to uphold justice, but instead they became enablers of corruption, sacrificing truth for power.

A stark biblical example is found in the case of Uriah the Hittite. King David, God’s anointed, abused his authority by orchestrating Uriah’s death to conceal his own sin (2 Samuel 11). Though a man after God’s heart, David was not spared from judgment. God sent the prophet Nathan to confront him, saying, “You have struck down Uriah... and have taken his wife” (2 Samuel 12:9). Judgment followed David’s house, showing that God does not overlook bloodguilt, even among His chosen.

Preachers who support or remain silent about bloodshed—whether through political complicity, tribalism, or fear—invoke divine wrath. God warns in Jeremiah 23:1: “Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” (AMP). He sees through religious facades and judges those who “strengthen the hands of evildoers” (Jeremiah 23:14).

As in Isaiah 1:15, God refuses to hear prayers when hands are stained with blood. His justice is sure. Let every leader and preacher heed His warning—repent, uphold righteousness, and speak against bloodshed, lest judgment fall.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to speak against corruption.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil governance.

GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN: A BIBLICAL DEFENSE OF ROMANS 6:1

You shall not be put to shame because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN: A BIBLICAL DEFENSE OF ROMANS 6:1

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Romans 6:1 poses a rhetorical question: “What shall we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin so that God’s grace may increase and overflow?” (AMP). Some false teachers have twisted this verse and others like it to promote the dangerous idea that grace gives believers a license to sin. However, Paul immediately refutes such thinking in verse 2: “Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?”

This misuse of grace contradicts the clear teaching of Titus 2:11-12, which states, “For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God... teaches us to reject ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives.” Grace does not excuse sin; it empowers the believer to live in holiness.

The message of Romans 6 is transformation, not indulgence. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, believers are united with Him, crucifying the old self and being raised to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4-6). Grace sets us free from sin’s dominion—not to return to bondage, but to become slaves of righteousness (Romans 6:18).

The wages of sin remain death (Romans 6:23). Grace does not negate the consequences of sin; rather, it offers the free gift of eternal life through Christ. True faith in Jesus will produce a life marked by repentance, obedience, and sanctification. Any teaching that treats grace as permission to sin is false and must be exposed with sound doctrine.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and power to resist the devil .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil addictions .

THE PURSUIT OF RELIGIOUS LEGALISM LEADS TO A FALL FROM GRACE

You are marked for an extraordinary promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

THE PURSUIT OF RELIGIOUS LEGALISM LEADS TO A FALL FROM GRACE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Religious legalism—the effort to earn righteousness through strict adherence to the Mosaic Law—stands in direct opposition to the grace of God revealed in Christ. In Galatians 5:2–5, the apostle Paul warns, “If you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you” (v.2). He stresses that anyone who chooses to be justified by the law “is obligated to keep the whole law” (v.3), and in doing so, “has been severed from Christ… fallen from grace” (v.4, AMP).

Legalism is a counterfeit righteousness. It rests on human effort rather than divine transformation. Those who pursue this path, trying to establish their own type of righteousness by observing the Law of Moses, cannot experience the power of God. The law, while holy and good, was never meant to be a means of salvation. It reveals sin but cannot remove it. Only grace can save—and only grace empowers.

Paul continues, “For we [not relying on the law], through the Spirit, by faith, are waiting confidently for the hope of righteousness [the completion of our salvation]” (v.5, AMP). True righteousness is not something we achieve; it is something we receive. It flows from the character of God and is given through faith in Christ.

Christian morality and transformation come through the Spirit, not by legal codes. When believers trust in rules instead of the Redeemer, they reject the very grace that saves and sanctifies. Let us walk by grace, not law.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and a commitment to walk by grace not by religious legalism.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

WORKING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH

You shall not fall into the enemy's trap because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good+Life Devotional: WORKING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Hebrews 11:33 speaks of those who “through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and obtained promises,” emphasizing that righteousness is achieved by faith. However, 1 Timothy 4:1 warns that in the latter times, some will “depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.” This shows that human behavior can be influenced by demonic forces and false teachings, pulling people away from the path of righteousness.

The born-again believer is called to walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16). Romans 8:14 declares, “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Being led by the Holy Spirit results in life and peace (Romans 8:6), while following the desires of the sinful nature leads to death.

Every sinful action begins as a thought. 2 Corinthians 10:5 urges believers to “cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,” and to bring “every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” By the power of the Holy Spirit, believers can silence demonic suggestions and cast out evil spirits (Mark 16:17).

Revelation 2:20 identifies the spirit of Jezebel, who misleads God's servants into sexual sin and idolatry. Jesus gave believers authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Therefore, when unclean thoughts arise, believers must resist the devil (James 4:7), speak the Word (Matthew 4:4), and take authority in Jesus' name to walk in righteousness by faith.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to preach the gospel of Righteousness.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.

THIEVES SHALL NOT ENTER HEAVEN

The anointing of God's favour is restoring that which was stolen from you by a hundred fold .

Good -Life Devotional: THIEVES SHALL NOT ENTER HEAVEN

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Scripture is clear: “Thieves... shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:10, AMP). Yet many modern preachers distort God’s grace, ignoring repentance and righteousness, and teaching that one can continue in sin without consequence. This false gospel contradicts Titus 2:11-12, which states, “For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God... instructs us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives” (AMP).

Jesus Himself warned against such religious corruption, declaring, “My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves” (Luke 19:46). Just as thieves stole from the temple in Jesus’ day, many now rob God’s people of truth—trading holiness for hype, and repentance for popularity.

The Word commands, “He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, producing with his own hands what is good” (Ephesians 4:28). Stealing—whether money, time, truth, or glory—is a mark of Satan, who “comes only to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10). Jesus, by contrast, calls His followers to walk in light and truth.

Paul exhorts believers, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity” (2 Timothy 2:19). Hebrews 10:26 warns, “If we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.”

True grace transforms. It never permits sin; it empowers us to overcome it. Let us not be deceived—righteousness still matters.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and a contented heart.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.

THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS REVEALED IN THE GOSPEL

The yoke of  confusion and stagnantiom is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS  REVEALED IN THE GOSPEL

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

"For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'" (Romans 1:17, NIV)

Romans 1:17 is a cornerstone of Christian apologetics, revealing the transformative power of the gospel and the centrality of faith in salvation. Paul asserts that the gospel unveils God's righteousness—a righteousness not earned through human effort or adherence to the law, but received through faith. This counters objections that Christianity promotes moral relativism or undermines justice. Instead, it upholds the holiness of God while extending grace through faith.

Critics often question how a just God can justify the ungodly. Romans 1:17 answers this by revealing that God's righteousness is not merely a standard to be met, but a gift to be received (cf. Romans 3:21-26). This righteousness, rooted in God's character, is consistent with divine justice because Christ satisfies the penalty for sin. Through faith, believers are united with Christ and declared righteous—not because of their merit, but because of His.

The phrase “from faith to faith” underscores that the entire Christian life—from salvation to sanctification—is grounded in faith. It is not a momentary decision but an enduring trust. Paul quotes Habakkuk 2:4 to show that this principle was always God's plan, harmonizing the Old and New Testaments.

Apologetically, Romans 1:17 defends the coherence of the gospel message. It bridges God’s justice and mercy, addresses human fallenness, and upholds faith—not works—as the means of reconciliation with God. This verse thus provides a compelling answer to both moral and philosophical objections to the gospel.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and commitment to live in righteousness.

THE PURSUIT OF RELIGIOUS LEGALISM LEADS TO A FALL FROM GRACE

THE PURSUIT OF RELIGIOUS LEGALISM LEADS TO A FALL FROM GRACE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Religious legalism—the effort to earn righteousness through strict adherence to the Mosaic Law—stands in direct opposition to the grace of God revealed in Christ. In Galatians 5:2–5, the apostle Paul warns, “If you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you” (v.2).
