    The Bible assures us that every promise God has made finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20 (AMP) declares, “For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] ‘Yes.’ So through Him we say our ‘Amen’ to the glory of God.” This means that every divine promise—whether for salvation, provision, healing, or eternal life—is guaranteed in Christ.

    However, the certainty of God’s promises does not automatically translate into personal experience without faith. Paul speaks of this principle in 1 Corinthians 9:26 (AMP): “Therefore I do not run without a definite goal; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing].” This shows that faith must be intentional, focused, and confident in God’s word.

    Faith is the key to receiving God’s promises. Hebrews 4:1-3 warns that many Israelites failed to enter God’s rest because of unbelief. Likewise, many believers today miss out on God’s blessings due to doubt and fear. Instead, we are urged to “approach [God’s throne] with confidence” (Hebrews 4:16).

To receive from God, we must stand firm in faith (James 1:6-7), hold fast to His promises (Hebrews 10:23), and believe that what He has spoken will come to pass (Numbers 23:19). Let us, therefore, trust wholly in Christ, for in Him, all of God’s promises are fulfilled!

     The Bible warns against self-centered ambition and pride. Philippians 2:3 (AMP) states, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with an attitude of humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves." Unfortunately, many religious leaders in Africa have turned ministry into a competition, striving to be the biggest and most influential. This has placed an enormous financial and spiritual strain on churchgoers.

    A major symptom of this unhealthy competition is the relentless construction of religious edifices. Members are often manipulated into giving funds meant for family sustenance or business investments. The economic impact has been devastating—many families struggle, marriages break down, and individuals become disillusioned with the faith. This aligns with Colossians 2:23, which warns against excessive religious devotion that neglects practical needs.

   Despite grand promises of wealth through giving, Nigeria still has one of the lowest per capita incomes. Rather than promoting financial stewardship, many religious leaders exploit their followers, leading to widespread economic hardship. This culture of extravagance is also mirrored in the entertainment industry, where the pursuit of vainglory influences societal values.

   True humility in leadership means prioritizing the well-being of others and serving without selfish ambition. We should recognize others' achievements without striving to outshine them. Instead of seeking glory, religious leaders should focus on genuine service, fostering a faith that builds both spiritual and economic stability in society.

     God has established spiritual authority within His Church, and submission to it is not optional for believers. Romans 13:1-3 (AMP) states, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God [granted by His permission and sanction], and those which exist have been put in place by God.” This principle applies not only to civil authorities but also to spiritual leadership.

    The idea of a “free-spirited” Christian who resists authority is rebellion, which is equated with witchcraft. 1 Samuel 15:23 warns, “For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of divination (fortune-telling), and disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry.” When individuals reject God-ordained leadership, they open doors to deception, disorder, and even demonic influence in the Church.

    God has provided pastors to guide His people. Jeremiah 3:15 says, “Then I will give you [spiritual] shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and [true] understanding.” Likewise, Ephesians 4:11-12 emphasizes that Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip and mature the Church. Maturity in Christ requires submission to these spiritual authorities.

   Hebrews 13:17 commands believers to “Obey your spiritual leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls.” Refusing to do so is rebellion against God’s divine order. True freedom is found in obedience to God’s structure, not in self-willed independence.

   In today’s fast-paced world, many people struggle to create time for God. However, the importance of setting aside time for worship, prayer, and Scripture meditation cannot be overstated. God instituted the Sabbath as a time for His people to draw closer to Him and each other (Exodus 20:8-10). This principle still holds today: when we prioritize God, our relationships with others flourish.

   Unfortunately, many modern churches have replaced in-depth Bible study with entertainment-driven activities. Some even teach that financial offerings can substitute for time spent in God’s presence, contradicting Ecclesiastes 5:1, which warns us to approach God with reverence, and Hebrews 10:25, which urges believers not to neglect meeting together.

   The seriousness of honoring God’s appointed time is seen in Numbers 15:32-36, where a man who violated the Sabbath paid the ultimate price. This account underscores how much God values our commitment to Him. In today’s world of endless distractions, especially social media, we must exercise spiritual discipline through fasting and prayer to ensure we spend quality time with God daily (Matthew 6:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

   Our worship affects our relationships. When we neglect time with God, our marriages and families suffer. Just as time apart weakens relationships, lack of intimacy with God weakens our spiritual walk. To restore both, we must return to prioritizing God’s presence in our lives, knowing that when we seek Him first, everything else falls into place (Matthew 6:33).

Romans 12:11 commands, “Be not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord” (KJV). The Greek word for “slothful” here is oknēros (ὀκνηρός), meaning lazy, hesitant, or lacking effort. This warning is not merely about work ethic but about our spiritual attitude toward all we do, including business and daily labor.

Work is an act of worship when done unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). Worship is not just singing or praying; it requires diligence, commitment, and effort. The Greek word for worship, latreia (λατρεία), also means service. Thus, our business and job are expressions of worship, and to worship rightly, we must be diligent.

Hebrews 6:12 further exhorts, “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Here, slothful is again nōthros (νωθρός), meaning sluggish or dull. A lack of diligence can make us spiritually ineffective, preventing us from receiving God’s promises.

Proverbs 22:29 states, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” Diligence in our work honors God and brings promotion. Proverbs 10:4 warns, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”

To be slothful in business is to be negligent in worship. True worship demands excellence and faithfulness. Let us work as unto the Lord, being fervent in spirit, diligent in service, and faithful in all things.

   Prostitution is more than just a moral failing—it is a spiritual bondage that God equates with witchcraft. Nahum 3:4 (AMP) declares, "All because of the many acts of prostitution of the [enchanting] prostitute, the charming and well-favored one, the mistress of sorceries, who betrays nations by her acts of prostitution (idolatry) and families by her sorceries (witchcraft).” This verse links prostitution to sorcery, showing that it is not just a physical act but a tool of spiritual corruption.

   Leviticus 19:29 (AMP) warns, "Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land will not fall into prostitution and become full of wickedness." This sin defiles society, leading to moral decay, poverty, and judgment. One of the major reasons for the financial struggles of the Church in Africa is the widespread engagement of leaders in this sin. Many are ensnared in a web of witchcraft through prostitution, resulting in poor financial stewardship and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

   Proverbs 29:3 states, "A man who loves wisdom makes his father glad, but he who associates with [male] prostitutes wastes his wealth." This confirms that prostitution brings financial ruin. As Christians, we must pray for righteousness to prevail in our communities. Leaders should boldly condemn prostitution, while individuals should seek honest work, overcome laziness, and live within their means. Law enforcement must also act to curb this evil.

   God's judgment awaits prostitutes and those who support them (Hebrews 13:4, Revelation 21:8). Let us turn to Christ, seek purity, and walk in righteousness.

   The modern church growth movement has increasingly embraced a model that prioritizes numbers over biblical truth. This shift mirrors the warning given to the church in Revelation 2:2-9, where Jesus commends the Ephesians for testing false apostles but rebukes the compromising churches. The Church of Satan’s philosophy—self-indulgence, moral relativism, and rejection of biblical authority—has subtly infiltrated many modern churches, not in name but in practice.

    One of the most alarming trends is the reluctance to confront societal ills. Many pastors avoid controversial topics to keep their congregations comfortable, ensuring steady growth and financial stability. This is contrary to the apostolic model, where open correction was central. Paul instructed Titus to "rebuke them sharply" (Titus 1:13) and to "speak these things with all authority" (Titus 2:15). Similarly, 1 Timothy 5:20 commands public rebuke of sin, a principle that fueled the revivals of the 1970s and 1980s.

   However, as love—often misinterpreted as tolerance—became the central theme, correction faded. This aligns with 2 Corinthians 11:14, where Satan masquerades as an angel of light, deceiving many through preachers who dilute truth for mass appeal.

    True church growth must be rooted in repentance, holiness, and biblical correction. Revival comes when the church stands firm against sin, not when it conforms to worldly standards. Just as Jesus warned the compromising churches in Revelation, so must the modern church return to bold, Spirit-led preaching that exposes deception and upholds righteousness.

   Grace is often misunderstood in modern Christianity, with many believing that salvation alone is sufficient to keep a believer from sin. However, Scripture teaches that sin must be recognized before true repentance can take place. If sin is merely labeled as an “issue” or “struggle,” its seriousness is diminished, making true repentance unlikely.

    Jesus Christ Himself clearly defined sin in Mark 7:20-23, explaining that sin originates from within the heart and manifests in actions such as theft, murder, adultery, greed, and deceit. Similarly, the apostle Paul provides detailed lists of sinful behaviors in Galatians 5:19-21 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, warning that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

    The silence of the modern church on the topic of sin creates an environment where deception flourishes. Isaiah 5:20 warns, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.” When sin is redefined or ignored, the church becomes vulnerable to the influence of false teachings, including those from the so-called "church of Satan."

    True grace does not ignore sin but exposes it so that repentance can occur. Titus 2:11-12 declares that the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live righteously. Without the clear preaching of what sin is, believers cannot fully turn from it. The church must stand firm in biblical truth, ensuring that sin is not softened but revealed, leading to genuine repentance and holiness before God.

  Adultery, defined as sexual relations between a married person and someone who is not their spouse, is not just a moral failure but a spiritual gateway to poverty within the church. Revelation 2:19-23 warns about false prophetesses in the likeness of Jezebel, whose teachings lead to sexual perversion and adultery. Their influence promotes moral decay, leading believers away from God's commandments. This spiritual defilement not only disrupts families but also brings extreme poverty, as God’s judgment can manifest in economic hardship, including increased infant mortality.

   God's position on adultery is uncompromising he says in Hebrews 13:4 'Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." . In the Old Testament, it warranted capital punishment (Leviticus 20:10). Jesus Christ elevated the standard by condemning emotional adultery, stating that anyone who looks at another with lust has already committed adultery in their heart (Matthew 5:28). Yet, Christ's mercy is evident in His encounter with the woman caught in adultery, whom He forgave while commanding her to "sin no more" (John 8:3-11).

  In today’s society, emotional adultery often begins with watching pornography or other sexually explicit content , which corrupts the heart and frequently leads to physical acts of adultery. To guard against this, believers must immerse themselves in God’s Word, fast, and seek self-control through the Holy Spirit. Accountability to spiritual authority and prioritizing fellowship (Hebrews 10:25) are vital for maintaining purity. By adhering to these biblical principles, the church can protect itself from the spiritual and economic consequences of adultery.

GOD LIVES INSIDE OF YOU

    As a believer in Jesus Christ, the profound truth is that God Himself resides within you. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (AMP), “Do you not know and understand that you [the church] are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells permanently in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God [corrupting it with false doctrine], God will destroy the destroyer; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.” This indwelling presence makes you holy, powerful, and set apart.

    Through the Holy Spirit, you are full of power. Romans 8:11 (AMP) says, “And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.” The same power that resurrected Christ lives within you, energizing and empowering you to live victoriously.

    You are never short of the anointing. 1 John 2:27 (AMP) declares, “But the anointing which you received from Him remains permanently in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you about everything... so you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].” This anointing breaks every yoke of bondage. As Isaiah proclaims, Isaiah 10:27 (AMP), “...the yoke will be destroyed because of the fatness [anointing]...”

    Because of God’s holy presence within, He demands holiness from you. Philippians 2:13 (AMP) encourages, “For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.” This divine presence empowers you to live in purity and obedience.

   Walk in this truth—God lives inside of you, and His power, anointing, and holiness are at work within you.

   1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (AMP) reminds us, “Do you not know and understand that you [the church] are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells permanently in you?... For the temple of God is holy [sacred], and that is what you are.” Similarly, Romans 8:11 teaches that the Spirit of God resides in our bodies, marking us as His dwelling place on earth.

   When we are born again, our spirits are renewed, but our souls (mind, will, and emotions) and bodies are not. This explains why memories and habits from the past can linger even after salvation, despite 2 Corinthians 5:17 declaring that old things have passed away. This process of transformation is ongoing, as Ephesians 5:25-26 describes Christ cleansing us through His Word.

    Jesus emphasized that defilement comes from within. In Mark 7:15, 20-23, He explained that evil thoughts, immorality, and other sins proceed from the heart, making a person unclean. The Greek word for “defile” (κοινόω, koinoó) means to make common or impure, while “unclean” (ἀκάθαρτος, akathartos) refers to moral impurity.

   Even among Christ’s disciples, uncleanness was present. In John 13:10-11, Jesus noted that although His disciples were generally clean, Judas was not. This illustrates that a follower of Christ can be spiritually unclean.

   An unclean vessel is unfit for God’s use. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 compares this to a dirty cup, urging believers to cleanse themselves for honorable use. Psalm 119:9 and James 1:21 further emphasize purifying oneself with God’s Word.

   Therefore, maintaining a clean house—spirit, soul, and body—is crucial for living as God’s holy temple.

    Believers in Jesus Christ are called to live exemplary lives, showing integrity and resisting corruption in all its forms. Titus 2:7 says, “In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility.” This verse emphasizes that Christians are to be role models of good conduct, reflecting Christ’s character wherever they find themselves.

Titus 2:10 advises servants “not purloining, but showing all good fidelity.” The Greek word for “purloining” is nosphizomai, which means to embezzle, withhold, or steal for personal gain. This term highlights dishonest practices that contradict the integrity expected of believers. As followers of Christ, we must avoid all forms of deceit and dishonesty.

    Contrary to the claims of some modern preachers, becoming successful through corruption is not an act of grace. Titus 2:11-12 teaches, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” True grace empowers believers to reject corruption and embrace good works.

Other Scriptures reinforce this call to integrity. Proverbs 10:9 states, “He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.” Additionally, Ephesians 4:28 commands, “Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good.”

Christians are called to fight corruption by living lives of honesty, integrity, and good works, reflecting the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.

    Corruption is a plague that undermines societies, leading to poverty and suffering. Proverbs 10:9 (AMP) declares, "He who walks in integrity and with moral character walks securely, but he who takes a crooked way will be discovered and punished." This scripture highlights the inevitable exposure and destruction awaiting the corrupt. Proverbs 11:3 (AMP) echoes this truth: "The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them."

    Africa, blessed with more natural resources than any other continent, should be the wealthiest. Yet, the culture of corruption prevalent in many African nations has resulted in poverty.     The church has a responsibility to confront this culture of corruption. Modern preachers often emphasize grace as a cover for sinful behavior, including corruption. However, Titus 2:11-12 (AMP) teaches, "For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God... instructs us to reject ungodliness and worldly desires." Grace empowers righteous living, not corrupt practices.

Recently, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has exposed hidden corruption on a global scale, highlighting the need for continuous accountability. As believers, we must speak against corruption daily, just as Psalm 35:28 (AMP) declares, "And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praises all the day long."

Proverbs 29:2 (AMP) states, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when the wicked man rules, the people groan." The church must teach biblical integrity and godly leadership, transforming nations plagued by corruption.

   Corruption is a pervasive evil that thrives on fear, compromise, and silence. To fight it, one must be bold and courageous, anchored in divine assurance. In Joshua 1:6 (AMP), God commands, "Be strong and courageous, for you will give this people as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them." Just as Joshua needed boldness to confront enemies and lead with integrity, modern-day anti-corruption crusaders require the same courage.

    Standing against corruption invites resistance, but God empowers the righteous with divine fearlessness. In Deuteronomy 2:25 (AMP), God declares, "This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the peoples everywhere... they will tremble and be in anguish because of you." When standing uncompromisingly for justice, God instills dread in the hearts of the corrupt, weakening their resolve.

   Moreover, divine reinforcement is always available. In 2 Kings 6:16-17, Elisha reassured his servant, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” God’s angelic warriors surround and protect those who fight for righteousness, ensuring victory against corruption’s forces.

    God also promises never to abandon the just. Psalm 37:32-33 affirms, "The wicked lie in wait for the righteous... But the Lord will not leave them in their power." This assurance empowers the righteous to act boldly, knowing God’s protection is unwavering.

    With courage from Joshua 1:6, divine fear from Deuteronomy 2:25, angelic armies from 2 Kings 6, and God’s faithfulness from Psalm 37, believers are equipped to stand boldly against corruption, transforming societies for God’s glory.

In our modern world, many seek instant success, yet Scripture teaches that God works through a process, not shortcuts. The Israelites’ 40-year journey in the wilderness is a powerful example. Though the distance from Egypt to Canaan was short, God led them the long way “to humble and test them” (Deuteronomy 8:2). They needed to learn obedience and dependence on Him before entering the Promised Land.

Growth in any area of life—spiritual, economic, or social—follows a progressive path. Isaiah 28:10 states, “For He says, ‘Order on order, order on order, line on line, line on line, a little here, a little there.’” No great nation, organization, or individual has ever reached enduring success through shortcuts. Rather, they attained it by long-term vision and discipline.

Jesus emphasized the necessity of process in His parables. The parable of the sower (Mark 4:3-8) illustrates how growth occurs over time, as seeds must take root and mature. Similarly, in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), the master entrusted his business to his servants, rewarding those who diligently worked while condemning the idle. These teachings highlight the importance of patience, faithfulness, and steady progress.

Unfortunately, many modern preachers promote a false gospel of overnight success, leading to an upsurge in gambling, where people lose money meant for productive ventures. Proverbs 13:11 warns, “Wealth obtained by fraud dwindles, but he who gathers gradually by [honest] labor will increase [his riches].”

Patience is a virtue (James 1:4). True success aligns with God’s process, not human shortcuts.

    Standing for truth often comes at a cost, and sometimes that cost is rejection—even from those closest to you. Jesus Himself warned of this reality, saying, “You will be hated by everyone because of [your association with] My name, but the one who patiently perseveres [empowered by the Holy Spirit and endures] to the end will be saved” (Matthew 10:22, AMP). Speaking the truth and living by God’s Word challenges the world’s standards, leading to opposition and even hatred.

    This division can occur even within families. Jesus cautioned, “For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother... and a man’s enemies will be the members of his [own] household” (Matthew 10:35-36, AMP). Choosing to follow Christ and uphold biblical truth can create tension with loved ones who do not share the same faith or values.

    However, the discomfort and rejection faced for standing on God’s truth are not without reward. Jesus assures us, “Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of [your association with] Me. Be glad and exceedingly joyful, for your reward in heaven is great” (Matthew 5:11-12, AMP).

    Enduring hatred and rejection for truth’s sake is difficult, but God sees and rewards faithfulness. Hold firm to His promises, knowing that the temporary pain of rejection will be exchanged for eternal glory.

And let us rejoice in our hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God.” This verse confirms that all believers have equal access to God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Grace is not a privilege given in different measures to different Christians; rather, it is a gift available to all who believe.

    Some false teachers suggest that certain believers have greater access to grace than others, but this contradicts Scripture. 2 Corinthians 4:13 (AMP) states, “Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote [in Scripture], ‘I believed, therefore I spoke.’ We also believe, therefore we also speak.” This shows that every Christian shares the same spirit of faith, emphasizing equality in spiritual access.

Additionally, Ephesians 2:18 (AMP) says, “For it is through Him that we both have a [direct] way of approach in one Spirit to the Father [so that we are all able to approach Him].” Every believer, regardless of status or experience, has direct access to God through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, called the Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:29), dwells in all believers. There is no hierarchy in receiving Him—He is given in full measure to every child of God (John 3:34). Therefore, no Christian possesses "more" of the Holy Spirit than another.

   Every believer in Jesus Christ is supernaturally empowered by God. This truth is revealed in Mark 16:17-18, where Jesus declares that signs will follow those who believe—casting out demons, speaking in new tongues, and healing the sick. These are not natural abilities but divine manifestations of the Holy Spirit working through us.

  In 1 Corinthians 12:1, Paul urges believers not to be ignorant of "spiritual gifts." The Greek word for “spiritual” here is pneumatikos (πνευματικός), meaning "things belonging to the Spirit" or "empowered by the Spirit." This signifies that spiritual gifts are supernatural endowments given by the Holy Spirit, not mere human talents.

   Verses 5-12 further explain that while there are different gifts and ministries, they all originate from the same Spirit. The Spirit of grace, who dwells in every believer (1 Corinthians 3:16), distributes these gifts as He wills. This means that every Christian has supernatural abilities within them, whether in prophecy, healing, miracles, or discernment.

   However, false teachers seek to keep believers ignorant of this truth, preventing them from walking in their divine authority. If believers do not know they have supernatural power, they will live in spiritual weakness and dependence on human systems.

   It is time to step into the supernatural by faith. Trust God to use you as He wills. Lay hands on the sick, speak life, and walk in the Spirit. You are called to manifest God’s power!

   In Acts 3:1-8, Peter and John encountered a lame man at the temple gate. Without any preparatory ritual, Peter declared, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” (Acts 3:6, AMP), and the man was instantly healed. This demonstrates that God’s power is always present in a believer and does not require external rituals to be activated.

   Some mistakenly believe that we must engage in prolonged praise and worship before we can enter God’s presence or receive His power. However, Scripture reveals that God dwells in us permanently through His Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16). Unlike idol worshippers who rely on rituals—such as the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18:26, who shouted and cut themselves—believers have immediate access to divine power. Psalm 115:4-8 describes idols as lifeless, and those who trust in them as senseless. We must not reduce our relationship with God to mechanical acts.

   Jesus assured His disciples that those who believe in Him would do greater works (John 14:12). Paul also declared, “The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you” (Romans 8:11, AMP). This means we carry God’s power at all times. The key to walking in this reality is faith and continuous meditation on God’s Word (Joshua 1:8).

  Miracles are not a product of rituals but of faith in the living Christ. As believers, we must walk daily in the consciousness of God’s power, ready to manifest His glory at any moment.

John 1:16-17 declares, "For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift]. For the Law was given through Moses, but grace [the unearned, undeserved favor of God] and truth came through Jesus Christ." This scripture affirms that every believer has received the fullness of Christ. We do not receive a portion of His anointing but all of it.

   False teachers often claim that some people are more anointed than others, using this as a means to exploit believers financially. They suggest that by sowing money into their ministry, one can “tap” into their anointing. However, this contradicts Scripture. Romans 5:2 states that through Christ, "we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand." The grace of God is freely given to all who believe, not selectively distributed by men.

   John 3:34 confirms, "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God does not give the Spirit by measure." If Christ, the Head of the Church, received the Spirit without measure, then His body—the believers—share in that fullness (Ephesians 1:22-23).

   Every believer is equipped for ministry (2 Corinthians 3:5-6), and we minister with heaven’s full backing. Instead of chasing after humanly-appointed "anointed" ones, we should walk in the reality of our inheritance in Christ, knowing that we lack nothing (Colossians 2:9-10).

     Many believers have been misled into thinking they need a "new anointing" after falling into sin or experiencing spiritual dryness. However, Scripture makes it clear that Jesus Christ, who is the Anointed One, does not change or expire. Hebrews 13:8 declares, “Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever” (AMP). If He remains the same, then His anointing does as well.

   The idea that the anointing leaves a believer when they sin is rooted in human perception, not biblical truth. Jesus promised in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless]” (AMP). Sin does not remove His presence, but it does create a barrier in our fellowship with Him. This is why 1 Thessalonians 5:19 warns, “Do not quench [subdue, or be unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit” (AMP).

    Instead of seeking a “new anointing,” believers should repent and restore their faith. 1 John 1:9 assures us, “If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises] and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness” (AMP). The Holy Spirit is always present, waiting for us to walk in obedience. Rather than searching for something new, we must rekindle the fire within by returning to God with a humble heart.

Proverbs 28:28 states, “When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase.” This verse underscores the reality that wicked rulers suppress righteousness, but their downfall allows godly people to flourish.

   A clear biblical example is found in the life of Jesus Christ. When King Herod sought to kill Him, God instructed Joseph to take Jesus to Egypt (Africa) for safety (Matthew 2:13). Only after Herod’s death did the angel direct Joseph to return, ensuring Jesus’ mission could continue (Matthew 2:19-20). This demonstrates how the removal of wicked rulers allows divine purposes to advance.

    Psalm 125:3 declares, “For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not reach out their hands to do wrong.” When wicked people rule, their influence corrupts society, leading to widespread sin. However, when godly leaders take charge, righteousness thrives (Proverbs 29:2).

It is dangerous to pray for the success of the wicked, as their rule only increases sin (Proverbs 29:16). Instead, believers should pray for God’s will to prevail and for righteous leaders to be established (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Psalm 37:35-36 assures us that the wicked may flourish temporarily, but they will ultimately be cut down.

For righteousness to thrive, godly leadership is essential. The downfall of the wicked paves the way for the increase of the righteous, ensuring a society where justice and truth prevail.

   The nation of Israel was built on the strength of the covenant God made with their fathers—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In Deuteronomy 4:6,8, Israel was reminded that their greatness was directly tied to their ability to obey God's laws. Their wisdom and understanding would set them apart from other nations, demonstrating that true greatness is covenantal.

    Nations that disregard the covenants enshrined in their constitutions cannot attain lasting greatness. God despises the breaking of covenants and punishes those who engage in such actions (Romans 1:31). Many Christians struggle in life because they fail to uphold their covenant obligations to God, their families, and their communities. Ecclesiastes 5:4-6 warns that failing to fulfill vows invites divine judgment, as even angels are assigned to execute punishment against covenant breakers.

    A striking biblical example is Abimelek, who broke the covenant with the house of Gideon. As a result, God sent an evil spirit to bring destruction upon him (Judges 9:23). Similarly, the Bible warns against associating with those who are "given to change" (Proverbs 24:21), for such individuals lack commitment and bring instability.

    Marriage, business agreements, and spiritual commitments are all sacred before God. Malachi 2:14 reminds us that God is a witness between a man and his wife, condemning treachery. Psalm 15:4 praises those who “keep their oaths even when it hurts.” True greatness is found in honoring covenants, for God rewards faithfulness and punishes unfaithfulness.

    God’s Covenant With The born-again christian is unbreakable, established through Jesus Christ. Unlike the old covenant, which depended on human obedience to the law, the new covenant is founded on Christ’s finished work.

     Jesus Himself declared this covenant at the Last Supper: “This cup [of wine] is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood, which is being poured out for you” (Luke 22:20, AMP). His sacrificial death fulfilled the prophecy of Jeremiah 31:31-34, where God promised a new covenant, writing His law on believers’ hearts.

    Through Christ’s blood, we receive eternal redemption: “He went once for all into the Holy Place [the Holy of Holies of heaven, into the presence of God], and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, having obtained and secured eternal redemption [that is, the salvation of all who personally believe in Him as Savior]” (Hebrews 9:12, AMP). This means our salvation is sealed, not by human effort, but by God’s grace.

   Ephesians 1:13-14 affirms that believers are “sealed and certified as God’s own” through the Holy Spirit, guaranteeing our inheritance. This sealing signifies security, ownership, and divine assurance.

    Because of Christ, our covenant with God is eternal, offering forgiveness, transformation, and an unshakable relationship with Him. “Therefore, since we have such a [glorious] hope and confident expectation, we speak with great courage” (2 Corinthians 3:12, AMP). Our faith rests in Christ, who mediates this covenant forever (Hebrews 7:22).We have heaven's backing in battle against evil forces .

    Hebrews 8:6 declares, “But as it is, Christ has acquired a priestly ministry which is more excellent than the old Levitical priesthood, for He is the mediator of a better covenant, uniting God and man, which has been enacted and rests on better promises.” This verse establishes the supremacy of the New Covenant, mediated by Jesus Christ, over the Old Covenant given at Mount Sinai.

The Old Covenant, based on the Law, had a fundamental flaw—it could not make one perfect. Hebrews 8:7 states, “For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one.” The law could reveal sin (Romans 3:20) but lacked the power to remove it. It kept people in bondage to rituals and sacrifices that could never cleanse the conscience (Hebrews 10:1-4).

Paul, in Galatians 4:24, contrasts the two covenants, explaining that the covenant from Mount Sinai leads to slavery, while the New Covenant brings freedom in Christ. Sadly, many religious Christians still rely on legalistic practices instead of the grace found in Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant (Hebrews 12:24), which is based on His vicarious atonement. Under this covenant, God promises, “And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins” (Romans 11:27). Through Jesus, we receive forgiveness (Ephesians 1:7), righteousness apart from the law (Romans 3:21-22), and the indwelling Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:6).

We are now called to live by faith in Christ, not by the works of the Law (Galatians 2:16). The New Covenant is indeed better, for it brings true salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

   The New Covenant, established through Jesus Christ, grants believers full access to the blessing of Abraham. Galatians 3:13-14 (AMP) states, "Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us… in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might also come to the Gentiles, so that we would all receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." This blessing is not just material but, most importantly, spiritual—God giving Himself to us through the Holy Spirit.

    God promised to bless Abraham and his seed (Genesis 12:2-3), and this promise extends to all who are in Christ (Galatians 3:29). The greatest gift is God Himself dwelling in us (Ezekiel 36:27, 1 Corinthians 6:19). As a result, we are heirs of all things. “So then, let no one boast in men [about their wisdom] or having this or that, for all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21-22). This includes eternal life, divine provision, and kingdom authority.

    Since God is our source, there is no poor Christian in reality. Philippians 4:19 assures us, “My God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” As heirs, we have access to wisdom (James 1:5), healing (Isaiah 53:5), and victory (Romans 8:37). Through the New Covenant, God has given us everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), making us truly blessed in Christ.

  In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and commitment to walk in the new covenant.

   The New Covenant in Christ completely exempts believers from the effect of curses because God sees us as righteous through His promise to Abraham. Numbers 23:21 (AMP) declares, “He has not observed wickedness in Jacob [for he is His own]; Nor has He seen trouble in Israel. The Lord their God is with them, And the shout of their King is among the people.” This shows that God's people are seen as righteous, not because of their works, but because of His covenant.

   Abraham was declared righteous through vicarious atonement (Genesis 15:6), and through faith in Jesus Christ, believers are part of spiritual Israel (Romans 4:16-17). Numbers 23:23 (AMP) further emphasizes, “For there is no enchantment or omen against Jacob, Nor is there any divination against Israel.” Those in Christ are beyond the reach of curses and incantations.

   Ephesians 1:3 confirms that believers are “blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.” You cannot be both blessed and cursed. Galatians 3:13 declares that “Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us.”

   What many consider curses are often the result of ignorance (Hosea 4:6). Many African churches wrongly attribute poverty and hardship to generational curses, while corruption and mismanagement are the real culprits. Meanwhile, nations in Europe and Asia prosper without extensive deliverance rituals. The key to overcoming struggles lies in godly wisdom, diligence (Proverbs 10:4), and faith in Christ’s finished work (John 8:32).

   In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and ask for teachers of sound doctrine in our churches .

   The Old Covenant, given through Moses, was based on human performance and obedience to the law. However, because of man's weakness, it could not bring perfection (Hebrews 8:7-8). It was ordained by angels through Moses, a mediator (Galatians 3:19), but after Moses' death, no one could fully enforce its provisions.

    God, in His infinite wisdom, provided a perfect solution. He created a body for Himself (John 1:1-2, 14) and came into the world as Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Unlike the Old Covenant, which depended on human ability, the New Covenant is established on better promises and guaranteed by Jesus Himself (Hebrews 8:6).

Through His death, Christ became the mediator of a New Covenant, securing an eternal inheritance for those who believe (Hebrews 9:15). His blood speaks of mercy and redemption, unlike the blood of Abel, which cried out for justice (Hebrews 12:24). This New Covenant is not dependent on our works but on Christ’s finished work on the cross (John 19:30).

Because of this covenant, all believers are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). The law could not make anyone righteous, but faith in Jesus does (Romans 3:21-22). Now, nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:38-39), and no one can stop the blessings God has ordained for His children (Numbers 23:20). Through Christ, we have full access to the Father and eternal life.

Good -Life Devotional:  IS THE BELIEVER'S PROSPERITY UNSTOPPABLE ?

The idea that prosperity is "unstoppable" is often linked to certain teachings within the prosperity gospel, which suggests that faith guarantees material wealth. However, the Bible presents a more nuanced view of prosperity, wealth, and God's provision.

1. BIBLICAL PROSPERITY ISN'T JUST MATERIAL WEALTH

  In Scripture, prosperity isn't always about financial gain. True prosperity includes spiritual well-being, godly wisdom, and eternal rewards.

Joshua 1:8 (AMP) – "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read and meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful."

3 John 1:2 (AMP) – "Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as I know your soul prospers [spiritually]."

These passages suggest that prosperity includes obedience to God and soul prosperity, not just material riches.

2. JESUS AND THE APOSTLES LIVED SIMPLY

If prosperity was always financial, why did Jesus and many early Christians live in poverty?

Matthew 8:20 (AMP) – "Jesus replied to him, ‘Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.’”

2 Corinthians 8:9 (AMP) – "For you are recognizing [more clearly] the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favor], that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich [abundantly blessed].”

Paul describes Jesus giving up riches to serve others, emphasizing spiritual rather than material wealth.

3. GOD USES POVERTY FOR HIS PURPOSES

Some Christians remain poor because God has different plans for them:

To build character and dependence on Him – "Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].” (Matthew 5:3 AMP)

TO TEST FAITHFULNESS – The widow in Mark 12:41-44 gave out of her poverty, and Jesus praised her.

TO CONTRAST EARTHLY RICHES WITH ETERNAL RICHES – James 2:5 (AMP) says, "Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith [and as believers to be heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him]?"

4. SIN, INJUSTICE, AND A FALLEN WORLD

Some believers are poor due to economic oppression or injustice (Proverbs 13:23).

Some mismanage resources due to lack of wisdom (Proverbs 21:5).

Some are called to suffer for Christ (Philippians 4:12).

Conclusion: God's Prosperity Is Eternal

Prosperity in God’s eyes is ultimately about righteousness, wisdom, and eternal rewards. Some Christians may be financially blessed, while others may experience poverty but still be spiritually prosperous. The key is trusting God's plan, whether in abundance or in need (Philippians 4:11-13).

  In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and contentment in any circumstance we are in .
