FAITH, RELIGION AND NATIONAL INTEGRATION

The anointing of God's favour is healing your family from known and unknown illnesses now .
Good - Life Devotional;
FAITH, RELIGION AND NATIONAL INTEGRATION

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
In a world filled with conflict, suspicion, and religious tension, God calls His people to be instruments of peace and national healing. While some ideologies promote division, hostility, or the rejection of coexistence, the Word of God shines as a light that leads nations toward unity and righteousness.
Many are troubled when they read religious texts that teach animosity toward unbelievers, forbid friendship with those of a different faith, or command violence until one belief dominates the land. Such teachings fuel extremist groups like Boko Haram, ISIS, and the Taliban, who interpret their scriptures as mandates for terror, segregation, and national fragmentation. But the God of Scripture reveals a different path—a path of love, wisdom, and reconciliation.
Jesus teaches:
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
(Matthew 5:9 AMP)
True faith builds bridges, not walls. It seeks the good of the entire nation, not just one religious group. The apostles lived under hostile governments, yet they preached peace, unity, and godly citizenship:
“If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
(Romans 12:18 AMP)
National integration begins with seeing every human being as created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27). It continues with treating others with kindness, regardless of belief:
“Do good to all people.”
(Galatians 6:10 AMP)
Where other ideologies divide, Christ unites. His death broke the wall of hostility (Ephesians 2:14), creating a community defined not by tribe or religion, but by love.
As we pray for our nations—Nigeria and beyond—let us commit to being agents of unity, confronting ideologies of hate with the gospel of peace.
For “the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving…” (James 3:17 AMP)
Lord, make us Your peacemakers in a divided world. Amen.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to be a peacemaker.

SEEKING HELP IN THE DAY OF BATTLE AGAINST TERRORISM ( PART 2

Your family shall be far from terror because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: SEEKING HELP IN THE DAY OF BATTLE AGAINST TERRORISM ( PART 2

)
By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
DIVINE PARTNERSHIPS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST EVIL”
The fight against terrorism—whether spiritual, ideological, or physical—is too great for any one person or nation. Scripture reveals a divine pattern: God uses partnerships to dismantle evil. Just as the King of Sodom sought Abraham’s help and was delivered (Genesis 14), so nations today must not hesitate to seek assistance when confronted with forces bent on destruction.
Even the greatest leaders in Scripture reached outward for support. Moses, overwhelmed by warfare, needed Aaron and Hur to lift his hands so Israel could prevail against Amalek—the precursor of all terrorist spirits (Exodus 17:8–13). God could have defeated Amalek without human cooperation, yet He chose partnership. Victory came when men worked together under God’s direction.
Similarly, King Hezekiah sought prophetic counsel when Assyria, a brutal military power, terrorized Judah. He turned to Isaiah, saying, “This day is a day of trouble… wherefore lift up prayer for the remnant that is left” (Isaiah 37:3–4). God responded with angelic intervention because a leader humbled himself enough to request help.
Seeking help is not unspiritual—it is a mark of righteous leadership. Pride isolates; humility delivers. Scripture declares, “In the multitude of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). Terrorism operates by fear, intimidation, and isolation, but God counters these with collaboration, unity, and shared strength.
Nations must also cry to the Lord, who promises, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you” (Psalm 50:15). Divine help often flows through human channels, alliances, and strategic partnerships. Even Jesus sent His disciples out two by two (Mark 6:7), revealing that effective warfare requires joint effort.
Let every believer and every leader embrace this truth: victory comes when we seek God and seek help. God honors humility, empowers unity, and uses partnerships to break the power of terror.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and humility to find help when in trouble.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome the fear of terrorism.

SEEKING HELP IN THE DAY OF BATTLE AGAINST TERRORISM ( PART 1)

Extraordinary financial help shall locate you because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: SEEKING HELP IN THE DAY OF BATTLE AGAINST TERRORISM ( PART 1)

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
In the battles of life—spiritual, political, or national—God never intended His people to stand alone. Scripture repeatedly shows the wisdom of seeking help when confronting overwhelming enemies. Even the mighty patriarch Abraham, a man of faith and covenant, understood this truth. When the four kings invaded the cities of the plain and carried away captives, the King of Sodom appealed to Abraham for help (Genesis 14:8–12). Abraham did not reject him; instead, he mobilized his 318 trained men and pursued the terrorists who had ravaged the land, rescuing the captives and restoring what was lost (Genesis 14:14–16).
This account teaches that seeking help is not weakness—it is wisdom. Proverbs 24:6 says, “For by wise counsel you shall wage your war.” Terrorism is wickedness empowered by spiritual darkness, and Scripture warns us that “the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10). No nation, church, or individual is designed to fight such forces alone.
Even Israel, God’s chosen nation, at times cried out for help. When Jehoshaphat was overwhelmed, he confessed, “We have no might against this great company… but our eyes are upon You” (2 Chronicles 20:12). God answered and sent supernatural intervention. During the Yon kippur War (1973) . America carried out Operation Nickel Grass, a military air to Isreal . Prime minister Golda Meir of Isreal  cried out to US president Nixon for help during the Arab- Isreal war and they found help from the USA.
In spiritual warfare, humility opens the door to divine and human assistance. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 reminds us, “Two are better than one… for if they fall, one will lift up the other.” Terrorism thrives where isolation exists, but unity and cooperation break its power.
Today, whether a nation is under siege or a believer is under attack, the principle remains: seek help—from God, from righteous allies, and from wise counselors. Victory belongs to those who understand that strength is multiplied through partnership ordained by God.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and humility to ask for help .
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and grace to find help when in trouble.

THE ABOMINABLE EFFECTS OF A NATION NEGOTIATING WITH TERRORISTS — A BIBLICAL AND STRATEGIC ANALYSIS. ( PART 2)

The enemy's weapon against your prosperity shall backfire because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: THE ABOMINABLE EFFECTS OF A NATION NEGOTIATING WITH TERRORISTS — A BIBLICAL AND STRATEGIC ANALYSIS. ( PART 2)

By Michael Benson Ajayi
One of Satan's strategies to destroy a nation is by causing  corrupt leaders to go into an ungodly alliance or covenant with terrorists.
Islamic Jihadists are driven by an extrem interpretation of the Qur'an which most classic scholars disagree with based on contextual analysis . The extremists say that the Qur'an says Surah 2:256 — “There is no compulsion in religion.”
Muslim commentators generally agree this verse was revealed in Medina, after Muhammad gained political authority.
But the same Qur’ān also includes:
Commands to fight until others accept Islam or submit
“Fight those who do not believe… until they pay the jizya.” (Surah 9:29)
Commands to fight until religion is “for Allah alone”
(Surah 2:193 and 8:39)
Death penalty for apostasy is found in the Hadith:
“Whoever changes his religion, kill him.” (Sahih Bukhari 9:84:57) these are the driving principles behind Muslim extremism resulting in the killing of moderate Muslims , Christians and Jews . Going into a peace agreement with such groups is unsustainable because of inreconcilable difference in idealogies .
Here are more consequences of negotiating with such terrorists and those with similar idealism in other religions in a circular state like Nigeria.
11) . IT BRINGS NATIONAL INSTABILITY
God told Asa he would have “wars from now on” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
12). IT DAMAGES INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION
Nations lose credibility when they negotiate with killers.
13. IT CORRUPTS LEADERSHIP MORALLY
Asa imprisoned the prophet instead of repenting (2 Chronicles 16:10).
14). IT DISHONORS VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE
Families lose trust when murderers are rewarded (Proverbs 24:23–24).
15). IT INVITES DIVINE JUDGMENT
Bloodshed rewarded is bloodshed multiplied (Habakkuk 2:12).
Additional Effects
16). IT CREATES A PRECEDENT THAT VIOLENCE PRODUCES POWER
Groups see terror as the quickest route to influence (Judges 2:19).
17) . IT SILENCES PROPHETIC AND REFORMING VOICES
Government suppresses truth-tellers, as Asa silenced Hanani (2 Chronicles 16:10).
18). IT DIVIDES THE NATION AND BREEDS SUSPICION
“How can two walk together unless they agree?” (Amos 3:3).
19.) IT LEADS TO SPIRITUAL DECLINE
Calling evil good destabilizes righteousness (Isaiah 5:20).
20.) IT PASSES VIOLENCE TO THE NEXT GENERATION
Unconfronted sin becomes generational (Exodus 20:5).
In Conclusion ; King Asa’s example stands as a warning to all nations: negotiating with violent groups is not a path to peace but a doorway to deeper bondage. God’s standard is unwavering—evil must be confronted, not rewarded. Nations that uphold justice, trust in God, and refuse to empower violent men position themselves for divine protection and lasting peace.
PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome terrorism .

THE ABOMINABLE EFFECTS OF A NATION NEGOTIATING WITH TERRORISTS — A BIBLICAL AND STRATEGIC ANALYSIS. ( PART 1)

The bonds of your oppressors shall be broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:
THE ABOMINABLE EFFECTS OF A NATION NEGOTIATING WITH TERRORISTS — A BIBLICAL AND STRATEGIC ANALYSIS. ( PART 1)

By Michael Benson Ajayi
The Scriptures are clear that God forbids His people from forming alliances with violent and wicked nations. A profound example is found in 2 Chronicles 16, where King Asa of Judah negotiated with Ben-hadad of Syria, a hostile king who had repeatedly terrorized Israel (1 Kings 20). Instead of trusting in God, Asa took treasures from the Lord’s temple and used them to buy the cooperation of a violent leader. This compromise became the doorway to national decline. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from HENCEFORTH THOU SHALT HAVE WARS."
Negotiation with terrorists results in an escalation of terrorism.
Today, many nations face the temptation to negotiate with terrorist groups. Yet the Bible and history warn of severe consequences. Below are some terrible effects of such negotiation―spiritually, politically, and socially.
1) . IT REPLACES TRUST IN GOD WITH TRUST IN VIOLENT MEN
Asa relied on Syria instead of the Lord (2 Chronicles 16:7–8).
2). IT STRENGTHENS TERRORISTS WITH NATIONAL RESOURCES
Asa handed God’s wealth to a violent king (2 Chronicles 16:2). Tax payers moneys is given to terrorists.
3.)  IT PROVOKES GOD’S DISPLEASURE
The prophet rebuked Asa for relying on evil alliances (2 Chronicles 16:7).
4.)  IT ENCOURAGES MORE VIOLENCE
Ben-hadad attacked immediately after receiving Asa’s gifts (2 Chronicles 16:4).
5). IT CREATES A CYCLE OF DEPENDENCE ON EVIL ALLIANCES
Asa began a pattern of fear-driven decisions.
6). IT SIGNALS WEAKNESS TO TERRORIST GROUPS
Violence appears to “work,” encouraging further attacks (Ecclesiastes 8:11).
7.)  IT DEMORALIZES MILITARY AND SECURITY FORCES
Righteous defenders feel betrayed when their sacrifices are undermined. Seeing the killer of your colleagues sitting in a negotiation meeting is too for a soldier to stomach (.2 Samuel 19;1-8)
8). IT UNDERMINES THE RULE OF LAW
Justifying the wicked is an abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 17:15).
9) . IT ENCOURAGES YOUTH TO BECOME TERRORISTS
Young people admire the rewards given to violent men (Proverbs 1:10–19).
10). IT EMBOLDENS OTHER EVIL GROUPS
Terrorists imitate what they see rewarded.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and deliverance of our nation from bad governance.
PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and boldness to preach righteousness.

GOD SENDS JUDGMENT AGAINST ANTI-DEMOCRATIC OPPRESSION

Your shall be far from terror because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

GOD SENDS JUDGMENT AGAINST ANTI-DEMOCRATIC OPPRESSION

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In Ezekiel 11:1–2, the prophet is taken in the Spirit to Jerusalem’s east gate, where the Lord reveals twenty-five prominent leaders who manipulate governance, twist justice, and “devise mischief” to oppress the righteous. Their corruption eroded public trust, undermined justice, and—most tragically—resulted in the death of innocent people, as reflected in verse 6: “You have multiplied your slain in this city.” When leaders subvert due process and weaponize power, Scripture teaches that such decay eventually leads to the suffering of God’s people.

God’s response to this anti-democratic rebellion against righteousness is severe: “I will bring a sword upon you” (Ezek. 11:8–10). In biblical language, the “sword” often refers to foreign invaders, instruments of divine judgment. This same pattern appears in Isaiah 13:17, where God declares He will “stir up the Medes”—a violent, terrifying force—to humble the arrogant and stop abuses of power (Isa. 13:11). Scripture does not glorify violence, but it reveals a sobering truth: when rulers exalt wickedness, God may allow hostile forces to break their pride.

Yet judgment is never God’s final desire. He calls nations to repentance, justice, and accountability. Democracy collapses when citizens and leaders abandon righteousness. Therefore, believers must uphold godly standards and insist on leaders of integrity, just as the early church chose “men of honest report, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom” (Acts 6:3). Proverbs 29:2 affirms this truth: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.”

To preserve peace, justice, and life, nations must return to God and uphold righteous leadership.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and righteous governance.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

THE SPIRIT OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD

You are delivered and shall not be a slave to shameful addictions because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

THE SPIRIT OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Isaiah 11:2–3 describes one of the sevenfold operations of the Holy Spirit resting upon the Messiah: “the Spirit of the fear of the Lord… and He shall delight in the fear of the Lord.” This fear is not terror but deep reverence, awe, and submission to God’s holiness. When this Spirit operates in a person or a nation, it produces obedience, purity, and wisdom. Scripture declares, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10), and again, “By the fear of the Lord men depart from evil” (Proverbs 16:6). Without this divine influence, societies drift into moral confusion, rebellion, and spiritual darkness.

A vivid example of national transformation through the fear of God is found in Acts 19:17–20. When the power of God was demonstrated in Ephesus, “fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.” This holy fear led to widespread repentance. Those who practiced witchcraft and magic openly confessed their deeds and brought their books to be burned—materials worth fifty thousand pieces of silver. The result was spiritual awakening, societal cleansing, and the triumph of God’s Word: “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” The fear of the Lord broke the grip of darkness and purified the culture.

Today, our nations desperately need this same Spirit. Laws, campaigns, and human efforts cannot cure corruption or moral decay. Only the Spirit of the fear of the Lord can turn hearts back to righteousness. Let us therefore pray, both personally and nationally, “Unite my heart to fear Your name” (Psalm 86:11). Where the fear of the Lord is restored, wisdom returns, evil is abandoned, and God’s glory prevails.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for the spirit of the fear of the lord in our nation .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel.

DO NOT BUILD YOUR SECURITY AROUND POSSESSIONS

The curse of stagnation and confusion is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: DO NOT BUILD YOUR SECURITY AROUND POSSESSIONS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Scripture repeatedly warns that placing our confidence in possessions, wealth, or human strategy invites downfall. King Nebuchadnezzar learned this painfully. In Daniel 4, he boasted, “Is not this great Babylon which I have built… by my mighty power and for my glory?” His security was rooted in his empire, achievements, and riches. God instantly stripped him of sanity, giving him “the mind of an animal,” and he lived in the wild until he acknowledged that the Most High rules. His fall teaches that possessions are unstable foundations; only God gives lasting security.

King Asa made the same mistake. Though he began well, trusting God (2 Chronicles 14), later he placed his confidence in wealth and political alliances. Instead of seeking the Lord, he used the treasures of the temple to bribe Ben-hadad for protection (1 Kings 15:18–20). God rebuked him through the prophet Hanani, declaring, “Because you have relied on the king of Syria and not on the LORD… from henceforth you shall have wars” (2 Chronicles 16:7–9). Asa paid dearly because he trusted possessions instead of the Lord.

True security comes only from God. Proverbs 18:11 warns that “the rich man’s wealth is his strong city,” but it is a deceptive refuge. Jesus said, “A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15). Psalm 20:7 adds, “Some trust in chariots… but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”

When the Lord is your security, no earthly instability can shake you. Trusting Him brings peace, stability, and protection that possessions can never supply.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and faith in his ability to sustain us

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

QUALITY OF OUR RELATIONSHIP OUTWEIGHS THE QUANTITY OF OUR POSSESSIONS.

You shall easily operate in the supernatural  because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: QUALITY OF OUR RELATIONSHIP OUTWEIGHS THE QUANTITY OF OUR POSSESSIONS.

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

“Better is a dinner of herbs where love is present than a fattened ox served with hatred.” — Proverbs 15:17 (AMP)

Scripture gently but firmly corrects our perception of value. Proverbs 15:17 reminds us that the quality of our relationships and the presence of love outweigh the quantity of our possessions. A simple meal seasoned with love is richer in God’s sight than a grand banquet filled with hatred, strife, and spiritual emptiness. This truth confronts today’s culture, which equates success with wealth and abundance. God measures life differently: love, righteousness, and peace are the true treasures of the believer.

Hebrews 11:24–26 gives us a powerful example of this wisdom lived out. Moses, though raised amid the unimaginable wealth and power of Pharaoh’s palace, made a deliberate choice. He refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. Why? Because the lavish “fattened ox” of Egypt was served with spiritual hatred—hostility toward God’s people and the ways of righteousness. Moses discerned that no earthly comfort could compensate for the loss of fellowship with God or the compromise of his calling.

He chose instead to identify with God’s oppressed people, embracing what seemed like the “herbs”—a life of hardship, humility, and sacrifice. Yet in God’s economy, Moses chose the richer portion, for Scripture says he esteemed “the reproach of Christ as greater riches than the treasures of Egypt.” He understood that temporary pleasures cannot outweigh eternal rewards.

This devotional truth calls us to examine our own choices. Do we pursue peace, love, and holiness even when it costs us something? Are we willing to value Christ more than comfort? The world may offer us “fattened oxen,” but if they come with spiritual compromise, they are empty.

Today, choose the humble path that honors God. For where love, righteousness, and obedience dwell, there is true wealth—and everlasting reward.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for contentment.

THE PROSPERITY OF THE FOOL SHALL DESTROY THEM .

Receive wisdom for excellence in your transactions because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: THE PROSPERITY OF THE FOOL SHALL DESTROY THEM .

Proverbs 1:32 declares, “For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”
Prosperity, when divorced from righteousness, becomes a snare rather than a blessing. The fool mistakes temporary success for divine approval, forgetting that wealth without wisdom leads to ruin. The psalmist confessed in Psalm 73:3 that he almost envied the arrogant when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. But later, in verse 22, he realized his folly—“So foolish was I, and ignorant; I was as a beast before You.”
It is foolish to admire the prosperity of the wicked, for they walk on a downward slippery slope. Their wealth and comfort are deceptive; like a flower, they bloom briefly before fading away. Psalm 73:18 says, “Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down into destruction.” God allows the wicked to prosper for a season, but their end is eternal loss.
In contrast, “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon” (Psalm 92:12). Though they may not possess worldly riches, the righteous are rooted in eternal prosperity—peace with God, joy in the Holy Spirit, and everlasting life. Psalm 92:7 concludes, “When the wicked spring up like grass, and all the workers of iniquity flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed forever.” True prosperity is not measured by possessions but by one’s standing with God.
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and contentment and godliness.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to walk in integrity.

THE ENEMIES OF THE CHURCH ARE ON A PATH OF MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION

What was meant for your demotion shall result in your promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE ENEMIES OF THE CHURCH ARE ON A PATH OF MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The enemies of the Church are ultimately on a path of self-destruction, for those who rise against God’s people contend with the Almighty Himself. In 2 Chronicles 20:20–23, when Judah faced overwhelming enemies, God caused confusion among their adversaries until they turned on one another and destroyed themselves. This divine pattern shows that opposition to the Church is opposition to God’s purpose, and such rebellion cannot stand.

The Lord declares in Isaiah 49:25–26, “I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children… I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine.” The enemies of the Church devour themselves because divine justice ensures that evil consumes its own source.

David foresaw this in Psalm 35:8—“Let destruction come upon him unaware; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself.” Similarly, Psalm 40:14 declares that those who seek the ruin of the righteous shall be ashamed and confounded together. God’s righteousness guarantees that the snares set for His people will backfire upon their makers.

Just as Pharaoh’s army drowned in the sea they pursued Israel through (Exodus 14:27–28), so every modern adversary of the Church will face the consequences of its own violence. The Church remains indestructible, for Christ declared, “The gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). The enemies of the Cross are destined for mutual ruin, but God’s people shall stand in everlasting triumph.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and protection of Christians from persecution .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome oppression.

GOD’S GLORY REVEALED THROUGH CONTROLLED CHAOS

Receive wisdom to solve complicated problems because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GOD’S GLORY REVEALED THROUGH CONTROLLED CHAOS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

(Haggai 2:6–9)

The word “glory” in Scripture, from the Hebrew kabod, means weight, honor, and splendor—a manifestation of God’s divine presence and majesty. In Haggai 2:6–9, God declares, “I will shake the heavens and the earth… and the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this house with glory.” This shaking represents what appears to human eyes as chaos—political instability, natural upheavals, and moral decline—but to God, it is controlled chaos orchestrated to fulfill His divine purpose.

In Isaiah 45:6–7, God affirms His sovereignty: “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.” Nothing escapes His control. The seeming disorder in the world is under His supervision, ultimately leading to the establishment of His righteousness and salvation on earth (Isaiah 45:8). Through these divine disruptions, God exposes false foundations and prepares the world for His perfect order.

Isaiah 40:4–5 declares, “Every valley shall be exalted, every mountain and hill made low… and the glory of the LORD shall be revealed.” The leveling process—the humbling of the proud and the lifting of the lowly—illustrates how controlled chaos brings balance and righteousness.

Ultimately, all this points toward the revelation of Jesus Christ at His second coming, when divine order will replace human confusion, and “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD” (Habakkuk 2:14). In God’s hands, even chaos serves a glorious purpose.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and understanding of the signs of the times .

HE HAS NOT GIVEN YOU TO UNTIMELY DEATH

You are  delivered from the power of the grave because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

HE HAS NOT GIVEN YOU TO UNTIMELY DEATH

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

PSALM 118:17–18

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over to death.” — Psalm 118:17–18 (AMP)

This passage stands as a triumphant declaration of divine preservation and purpose. It affirms that God’s dealings with humanity, though disciplinary, are redemptive rather than destructive. The psalmist acknowledges divine chastening — evidence of God’s love, not His wrath (Hebrews 12:6). His affliction was severe, yet it was restrained by mercy. God’s discipline aims to correct and refine, not to annihilate.

This verse finds ultimate fulfillment in Christ Jesus, who though “chastened” through suffering (Isaiah 53:5), was not given over to death permanently — His resurrection demonstrated God’s power over the grave (Acts 2:24). Thus, the believer’s confidence mirrors Christ’s: though pressed and corrected, we live to declare the works of the Lord (2 Corinthians 4:8–10).

This verse refutes fatalistic worldviews that see suffering as meaningless. The Christian worldview presents suffering as a divine instrument for growth and testimony. God’s people may be disciplined, but never forsaken (Psalm 37:24). When unbelievers question the goodness of God in hardship, Psalm 118 reminds us that discipline and preservation coexist — proof of a loving, purposeful Creator.

The believer’s response is worship: to live with the intent of declaring the Lord’s works — His healing, deliverance, and faithfulness. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). Life itself becomes an apologetic — a testimony that God’s mercy triumphs over judgment.

In our daily prayers let us seek a healthy appetite for God's word and discernment to know the Lord's discipline.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome the fear of  death.

WHEN DIVINE JUSTICE IS DELAYED

The evil hand causing unnecessary delays to your breakthrough shall be broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: WHEN DIVINE JUSTICE IS DELAYED

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

“Because the sentence against an evil act is not executed quickly, the hearts of the sons of men are fully set to do evil.” — Ecclesiastes 8:11 (AMP)

God’s patience is often misunderstood. When judgment is delayed, many assume God approves of their actions. Yet divine delay is not divine approval — it is mercy giving room for repentance (2 Peter 3:9). However, the human formative nature sometimes requires immediate judgment to restore holy fear and preserve purity in the community of faith.

In Acts 5:1–11, Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit and fell dead instantly. Their swift punishment demonstrated that God’s Spirit cannot be mocked. Likewise, in 1 Corinthians 5:1–5, Paul commanded the church to hand over a man sleeping with his father’s wife “to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved.” Such judgment was both corrective and protective — to awaken reverence and preserve holiness among believers.

Though God is longsuffering, He still disciplines His children. Hebrews 12:6 reminds us, “The Lord disciplines those He loves.” Immediate judgment, when necessary, is an act of love that turns hearts back to righteousness.

Yet for the unrepentant, delayed judgment stores up wrath (Romans 2:5). God’s mercy is meant to lead us to repentance, not complacency. The wise heart trembles at His Word and lives in obedience, knowing that “God will bring every deed into judgment” (Ecclesiastes 12:14).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and boldness to preach the gospel.

Lord, help me never to mistake Your mercy for weakness. Teach me to walk in holy fear and quick repentance, that I may always honor You.

HE SENDS HIS PEOPLE SAVIORS TO DELIVER THEM FROM OPPRESSION

Every disappointment you have suffered shall be turned into a testimony of breakthrough because of the anointing of God's favour upon you .

Good -Life Devotional: HE SENDS HIS PEOPLE SAVIORS TO DELIVER THEM FROM OPPRESSION

Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

(Nehemiah 9:26–27)

Throughout history, God’s people have often rebelled against His word and rejected His messengers. Nehemiah 9:26–27 records this sobering truth: “Nevertheless they were disobedient and rebelled against You, cast Your law behind their backs, killed Your prophets… Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies… But when they cried to You in their trouble, You heard from heaven; and according to Your great mercies You gave them saviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies.”

Whenever people resist the preaching of righteousness and silence those who call them to repentance, bondage follows. Sin brings oppression—spiritual, moral, and physical. Israel’s history shows that rejecting truth opens the door for destruction of lives and property. Yet, God in His mercy never leaves His people without hope. When they humble themselves and cry out to Him, He raises up deliverers—like Othniel, Gideon, Samson, and ultimately Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world (Judges 2:16; Luke 1:68–69).

This pattern reveals both God’s justice and His compassion. He allows hardship to turn hearts back to Him, then shows mercy by sending help. However, we must not take God’s grace for granted. Romans 2:4 warns that His kindness is meant to lead us to repentance, not complacency.

Today, God still sends voices of truth to call nations to righteousness. May we listen, repent, and uphold God’s messengers—lest we fall into oppression again. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” (Psalm 33:12).

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and deliverance for the oppressed .

PRAYER Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome oppression.

PETER’S SWORD AND THE PRINCE OF PEACE”

That stubborn situation shall succumb to you because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:  “PETER’S SWORD AND THE PRINCE OF PEACE”

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Matthew 26:52 (AMP)
“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword back into its place; for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.’”
In Jewish tradition and the culture of first-century Israel, it was normal for men to carry small swords or daggers for self-defense. The roads were unsafe, and the Roman world was violent. Scripture itself did not forbid self-protection — Exodus 22:2–3 even recognized the right to defend one’s household. So when Peter carried a sword (Luke 22:38; John 18:10), he wasn’t breaking the law or acting outside social custom. This is the guiding principle behind modern day Isreal allowing citizens to carry guns for self defence against terrorism.
However, when Peter used that sword to strike the high priest’s servant in Gethsemane, Jesus rebuked him. The issue was not possession, but purpose. Peter acted out of human impulse, trying to defend Jesus through force, yet Christ’s mission was spiritual, not political. His kingdom would not come by violence, but by the power of love, truth, and the cross.
Owning a sword was permitted; trusting in it for victory was not. Jesus taught that the true sword of the believer is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). Our defense is not in steel but in faith, prayer, and righteousness.
Ask yourself, Do I rely on worldly strength or on God’s Word when faced with conflict?
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and wisdom for protection against evil .
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome fear .
Lord, teach me to be wise in defense but peaceful in heart. Help me rely on Your Word as my sword and Your Spirit as my strength. Amen.

THE CHRISTIAN SOLDIER’S SWORD”

Every preparation of evil against you shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:
“THE CHRISTIAN SOLDIER’S SWORD”
By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Psalms 18:34

"He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms."
Psalms 144:1 "Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:"
Romans 13:4 (AMP)
“For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, [you should be afraid] for he does not carry the sword for nothing; he is God’s servant, an avenger who brings punishment on the wrongdoer.”
Christians serving in the military often wonder if carrying a physical weapon conflicts with their faith in Christ, the Prince of Peace. Yet Scripture makes a clear distinction between personal vengeance, which Christ forbids, and lawful defense of life and order, which God permits through legitimate authority.
When soldiers serve under a lawful government to protect their nation from external or internal aggression, they act as ministers of justice, not agents of cruelty. John the Baptist told soldiers to act honestly and contentedly, not to abandon their calling (Luke 3:14). David, though a warrior, was called “a man after God’s heart.” Cornelius, a centurion, became the first Gentile believer. Their service, when guided by righteousness, honored God.
Yet, even in uniform, a believer’s true battle remains spiritual. Our physical weapons may defend nations, but our spiritual weapons — faith, truth, righteousness, and prayer — defend our hearts and conquer evil within. As Paul wrote, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God” (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Are you carrying both your physical duty and your spiritual mission with integrity and faith?
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for the salvation of our men and women in uniform .
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel..
Lord, give me courage to defend what is right, wisdom to act with restraint, and strength to fight every spiritual battle with Your Word as my sword. Amen.

BUY A SWORD — BE SPIRITUALLY ARMED”

Those who rise against you shall be put to shame because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: “BUY A SWORD — BE SPIRITUALLY ARMED”

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Luke 22:36–38 (AMP)
“He said to them, ‘But now, he who has a money bag, take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.’ … And they said, ‘Lord, look, here are two swords.’ And He said to them, ‘It is enough.’”
It was legal and traditional for people of influence in that era to guard themselves with swords against robbers and harm . The physical exit of Jesus Christ would emboldimg the religious extremist to oppose the disciples . They were to trust the lord for their protection by whatever means legally possible.
In this solemn moment before His arrest, Jesus was not urging His disciples to take up physical arms, but to prepare for a new season of opposition and spiritual battle. When He first sent them out, He provided everything supernaturally. But now, He was about to be taken from them, and their mission would unfold in a world that would turn hostile toward the gospel.
The command to “buy a sword” symbolizes spiritual readiness, not violence. The true sword we must wield is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). Jesus’ rebuke to Peter in Matthew 26:52 confirms this — His kingdom advances not by bloodshed but by truth, prayer, and love.
In our own lives, Christ calls us to lay aside comfort (“sell your garment”) to gain conviction (“buy a sword”). Following Jesus requires sacrifice, vigilance, and spiritual discipline. The believer must be equipped with faith, courage, and scriptural knowledge to stand firm in an increasingly dark world.
Are you spiritually armed with God’s Word, or unprepared for the trials of faith? In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and preparedness to face the trials of life .
PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil .
Lord, help me to trade comfort for conviction. Strengthen me to stand firm in Your truth. Let Your Word be my sword against fear, sin, and deception. Amen.

THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, NOT OF STEEL

What was meant for your destruction shall lead to your promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, NOT OF STEEL

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword back into its place; for all those who habitually draw the sword will die by the sword.’” — Matthew 26:52 (AMP)

It was customary for Jews to carry a sword for self defense. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter’s zeal drove him to defend Jesus with a sword, but the Lord quickly rebuked him. Jesus was not against courage — He was against carnal methods of defending divine purposes - it was time for him to be crucified . His kingdom is not sustained by human violence but by truth, love, and divine authority.

When Jesus said, “Those who take the sword will perish by the sword,” He revealed a profound spiritual principle: those who depend on human strength will ultimately be destroyed by it. If your occupation requires you carrying a weapon , your trust should be on the lord for safety. The weapons of our warfare are not physical (2 Corinthians 10:4), but spiritual — the Word of God, prayer, and righteousness. True power lies in obedience and submission to God’s will, not in force.

Christ could have summoned legions of angels, yet He chose the path of the Cross. In 2 kings 19; 35 he executed judgement through an angel killing many . His restraint was not weakness but divine control and purpose. In our walk with God, we too must resist the urge to “fight” in the flesh — whether through anger, revenge, or manipulation. Victory in God’s kingdom comes through faith, forgiveness, and peace.

Let us, therefore, put away the sword of fleshly reaction and take up the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). The world is changed not by violence, but by the transforming love of Christ working through hearts surrendered to His will.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation Lord, teach me to fight my battles Your way — with truth, mercy, and peace.

SILENCE MEANS COMPLICITY

The yoke of guilt and condemnation is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional; SILENCE MEANS COMPLICITY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

(Acts 20:25–26; Ezekiel 3:18)

The Apostle Paul boldly declared in Acts 20:25–26 (AMP), “Therefore I testify to you on this [our meeting] day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.” Paul made this claim because he had faithfully warned and taught everyone the full counsel of God, just as God instructed Ezekiel: “When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you do not warn him... his blood I will require at your hand” (Ezekiel 3:18). Silence in the face of evil is not neutrality—it is complicity.

When Christians refuse to speak out against injustice, oppression, or the shedding of innocent blood, they share in the guilt of those acts. Scripture warns, “Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die” (Proverbs 31:8–9). To remain silent when righteousness is trampled underfoot is to side with the oppressor. God holds His people accountable for moral cowardice, for “whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin” (James 4:17).

If unrighteous leaders’ actions or inactions cause the death of the innocent, and believers keep quiet, the Church bears collective guilt. We must defend the weak, the voiceless, and the oppressed (Isaiah 1:17). Injury to one is injury to all; silence allows evil to spread. Let us, like Paul, boldly declare truth in love and stand guiltless before God by speaking against injustice, for “righteousness exalts a nation” (Proverbs 14:34).

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to speak against evil .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome guilt and condemnation.

INVESTING IN YOUR HEALTH: A DIVINE RESPONSIBILITY

The anointing of God's favour is destroying the yoke of sickness from your family right now.

Good-Life Devotional:

INVESTING IN YOUR HEALTH: A DIVINE RESPONSIBILITY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Beloved, God’s will for His children goes beyond spiritual blessings; it includes sound health and prosperity. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2). The phrase “above all things” reveals that good health is not a secondary matter to God—it is a priority tied to our spiritual devotion. To remain strong for the kingdom’s mission, believers must make intentional investments in their health.

Physical health requires discipline—balanced nutrition, exercise, regular medical check-ups, and adequate rest. Within our means, we should own basic health tools such as sugar and blood pressure monitors, and have knowledge of first aid and alternative remedies. Proverbs 14:30 says, “A sound heart is the life of the flesh,” showing that peace of mind and freedom from strife sustain wellness.

Emotional and spiritual health are equally vital. The soul controls the state of the body; therefore, we must feed it with the Word of God, worship, prayer, and wholesome entertainment (Philippians 4:8). Staying away from bitterness, anxiety, and unhealthy relationships preserves both spirit and body.

Additionally, building supportive networks—such as registering with a hospital, joining a fitness group, and befriending medical professionals—enhances longevity. God wants us healed and strong because our health determines our ability to fulfill His mission of soul-winning (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20). To neglect health is to weaken divine purpose. Therefore, invest in your health—it is sacred stewardship.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and the strong will to be healthy .

PRAYERS: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to heal the sick .
