THE OPEN DISPLAY OF DISREGARD FOR THE BIBLE ATTRACTS TERRORISM AGAINST A NATION ( part 1)!

    A nation that openly despises the word of God invites consequences beyond human control. Scripture reveals a clear pattern: when a people cast aside God’s law, divine judgment follows. Isaiah 5:24–30 declares that because Israel “cast away the law of the LORD of hosts,” God sent hostile armies against them. Their borders shook, their peace disappeared, and terror swept through the land. This principle remains true today.

   In Nigeria, there has been an alarming increase in the desecration of the Bible on social media—by both some who claim to be Christians and some Muslims. Mocking Scripture, twisting it for entertainment, or treating it with contempt is not without consequences. Ezekiel 14:17 warns that when a nation persists in rebellion, God allows “the sword” to come upon it. Strikingly, the emblem of many terrorist organizations features the sword—reminding us that God’s judgments can take the form of violent insecurity to humble human pride and arrogance.

    God exalts His word above all His name (Psalm 138:2). To desecrate Scripture is to provoke the One who watches over His word with jealousy. When His word is rejected, His protective covering lifts.

   Yet there is hope. God promised, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways… then will I heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14-15). When nations return to God’s word, the sword is removed, and peace is restored.

   Other warnings include Hosea 4:6, Proverbs 14:34, and Psalm 33:12—reminding us that national security is tied to reverence for God’s word.

  In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and deliverance from the consequences of desregarding the Holy Bible.

PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive Jesus Christ as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel.
