Good -Life Devotional: GOD SHALL RAISE RIGHTEOUS LEADERSHIP IN THE LAST DAYS

   The Scriptures clearly reveal that God has a divine agenda for righteous leadership in the last days, leadership that will bring prosperity, order, and spiritual vitality to His Church. In Jeremiah 23:5, God promises, “Behold, the days are coming… when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as King and act wisely.” Likewise, Jeremiah 33:15 affirms that God Himself will cause righteousness to flourish through divinely appointed leadership. These passages show that righteous governance is God’s solution to corruption, oppression, and spiritual decline.

   God also declares that wealth without righteousness is unstable. Proverbs 11:28 warns, “He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like green leaves.” Sadly, some believers have shifted their trust from God to money, despite clear instructions such as Galatians 6:6 and 1 Corinthians 16:1–2, which emphasize consistent, intentional financial support for the work of the gospel. When God’s resources are withheld from His purposes, they often end up advancing ungodly agendas, contrary to divine intent.

   However, God will not remain silent. In the last days, Scripture indicates a decisive divine intervention—a forceful shift of power—where unrighteous systems will be overthrown and righteous men and women will be positioned to advance God’s purposes (Daniel 2:21; Psalm 75:6–7). This will result in the restoration of godly stewardship and kingdom prosperity.

    Just as in the early Church, where “there was not a needy person among them” (Acts 4:34–35), God will again raise leaders who prioritize the gospel, steward resources faithfully, and ensure the flourishing of His people. Righteous leadership remains God’s pathway to lasting prosperity for the Church.

  In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and promote good governance.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance.
