WHY BEING A POLITICAL THUG IS A FOOLISH IDEA (Part 2) THE END OF POLITICAL THUGGERY IS SHAME AND JUDGMENT

Good -Life Devotional : WHY BEING A POLITICAL THUG IS A FOOLISH IDEA (Part 2)
THE END OF POLITICAL THUGGERY IS SHAME AND JUDGMENT

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Political thuggery may appear attractive, but its end is fear, shame, and divine judgment. The Bible says, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth” (Proverbs 28:1). Violence produces a life of constant fear—fear of police, revenge, and betrayal.
It also destroys your future. “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches” (Proverbs 22:1). Temporary political money cannot replace a damaged reputation. Many thugs are abandoned after elections, left with no education, no job, and no direction.
BAD COMPANY WORSENS CHARACTER. “Evil communications corrupt good manners” (1 Corinthians 15:33). Staying among violent people hardens the conscience and leads to deeper sin.
VIOLENCE ALSO SHORTENS LIFE. “Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days” (Psalms 55:23). Political thuggery exposes people to deadly clashes and revenge attacks.
God warns that such people face judgment. “...murderers… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire” (Revelation 21;8)
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for removal of selfish ongodly rulers and for their replacement with righteous capable leaders.

WHY BEING A POLITICAL THUG IS A FOOLISH IDEA (Part 1:)

You shall be far from the destroyer because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

WHY BEING A POLITICAL THUG IS A FOOLISH IDEA (Part 1:)

-The Path of Violence Leads to Destruction-

By  Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Scripture warns strongly against joining violent groups for money or political gain. The Bible says, “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not” ( Proverbs 1:10). Political thuggery begins with enticement—small money, promises of protection, and false loyalty—but the end is destruction.

They are quick to harm others: “They make haste to shed innocent blood” (Proverbs 1:16). God condemns violence because it destroys both victims and perpetrators. Verse 18 explains that they “lay wait for their own blood.” In other words, political thugs dig their own graves.

Another reason it is foolish is greed. Many are recruited with money, yet Proverbs 1:19 says greed “taketh away the life of the owners thereof.” What looks like quick gain becomes long-term loss.

Political thuggery also makes you an instrument of evil. Jesus warned, “The thief cometh… to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). Corrupt leaders use thugs to intimidate voters, destroy property, and silence truth.

God also hates violence. “The LORD… hateth… him that loveth violence” (Psalms 11:5). Choosing violence places a person against God’s will.

Furthermore, sin brings consequences. “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Political thuggery can lead to injury, imprisonment, retaliation, or lifelong regret.

God instead calls believers to peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers” (Matthew 5:9). True honor comes not from intimidation but from righteousness.

Political thuggery is foolish because it destroys reputation, invites judgment, corrupts the heart, and ruins destiny. Wisdom says walk away and choose peace.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to resist temptation. Dear lord, deliver our nation from selfish and greedy leaders and grant us truthful and capable leaders that hate corruption. Amen

STOPPING POLITICAL THUGS DURING ELECTIONS

The more the opposition against you, the higher shall be your elevation because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional: STOPPING POLITICAL THUGS DURING ELECTIONS

Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Elections should reflect the will of the people, not the violence of hired thugs. Scripture calls believers to resist evil and promote justice. “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not” (Proverbs 1:10).       Political thugs are often recruited to intimidate voters, disrupt polling units, and shed innocent blood. Proverbs 1:15-16 warns, “Walk not thou in the way with them… for their feet run to evil.” Refusing recruitment is the first step to stopping them.

Christians must also expose and resist wrongdoing. Ephesians 5:11 says, “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” This means reporting plans for violence, encouraging peaceful participation, and refusing to support politicians who promote thuggery. When the righteous take a stand, evil loses ground. Proverbs 29:2 declares, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Rejecting violent candidates helps prevent thuggery.

Prayer is another powerful weapon. Paul urged that “supplications, prayers… be made for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Pray for peaceful elections, wise security agents, and courage for voters. Peaceful conduct also matters. Romans 12:18 teaches, “If it be possible… live peaceably with all men.” Believers should promote calm, discourage retaliation, and encourage lawful processes.

Finally, speak for justice. Proverbs 31:8-9 commands, “Open thy mouth for the dumb… plead the cause of the poor and needy.” By refusing violence, exposing evil, praying, and standing for justice, believers can help stop political thugs and ensure elections reflect righteousness and peace.

In our daily prayers we should pray for godly leadership and failure of the works of evil men

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil .

POLITICAL THUGS ARE AGENTS OF SATAN : GOD SAYS AVO

You shall be far from disaster because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: POLITICAL THUGS ARE AGENTS OF SATAN : GOD SAYS AVO

ID LEADERS WHO USE THEM.

Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Political thuggery thrives where greed rules and conscience is silenced. Scripture warns believers not to align with those who exploit violence for gain. In Proverbs 1:10–19, wisdom cautions, “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not… my son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path” (v.10,15). Political thugs are often enticed with money and power to intimidate, steal ballots, and silence opposition. Their feet “run to evil, and make haste to shed blood” (v.16). Such actions mirror the mission of the enemy, for Jesus said in John 10:10 that the thief comes “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Corrupt politicians who sponsor violence impoverish the people by looting the commonwealth and maintaining power through fear.

God calls believers to separation from those who practice such wickedness. First Corinthians 5:11 instructs us not to keep company with anyone who claims righteousness yet lives in open sin. We must therefore avoid endorsing leaders who depend on violence and intimidation. Psalm 11:5 says the Lord hates “him that loveth violence,” and Isaiah 33:15 declares that the righteous refuse “gain of oppressions” and stop their ears from hearing of bloodshed. Revelation 21:8 solemnly warns that the violent, liars, and the unrepentant will face judgment.

Instead, we should pray for righteous leadership. First Timothy 2:1–2 urges prayers for kings and all in authority, that we may live peaceful lives. When godly leaders arise, justice prevails (Proverbs 29:2).   Pray for divine intervention, exposure of violent networks, and transformation of hearts. God desires governance marked by righteousness, not intimidation, so that nations prosper in peace.

PRAYER: Heavenly father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance.

BRINGING FORTH FRUIT UNTO GOD

The yoke of guilt and condemnation is hereby broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: BRINGING FORTH FRUIT UNTO GOD

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Romans 7:4 declares that believers are “made dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another… that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” Bringing forth fruit unto God means serving Him, sharing the gospel, and leading others into His kingdom. It does not mean we will never struggle with sin. The believer may wrestle, yet still remain useful to God.

The devil often whispers that because of our struggles we are not qualified to preach Christ. But Scripture reminds us, “There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not” (Ecclesiastes 7:20).    Even the most devout believers face inward battles. These struggles are intensified by the law, for “sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence” (Romans 7:8). The law exposes sin and reveals our need for a Savior (Galatians 3:24).    Living under law brings condemnation and death, “for when we were in the flesh… the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death” (Romans 7:5).

God is not ignorant of the believer’s struggle. Romans 7:13–24 shows Paul’s inner conflict, yet he concludes with hope: “I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 7:25). In Christ we have assurance despite weakness (Romans 8:1). We are not under law but under grace (Romans 6:14), and grace empowers fruitfulness. Jesus said, “He that abideth in me… the same bringeth forth much fruit” (John 15:5).

Therefore, do not withdraw from serving God because of struggle. Walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16), proclaim Christ boldly, and bring forth fruit unto God.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to serve God effectively.

SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN BECAUSE WE ARE UNDER GRACE ?

You shall not fall victim of the deceiver because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:  SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN BECAUSE WE ARE UNDER GRACE  ?

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

“Shall we continue in sin because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid” (Romans 6:15).

Should politicians and fraudulent preachers continue to steal and kill  because we are under grace ?    Grace is often misunderstood. Some imagine it gives permission to live carelessly, but Scripture teaches the opposite. Grace is not a license to sin; it is the power to live righteously. Titus 2:11–12 declares that the grace of God “teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts” and to live “soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.” Grace trains, corrects, and empowers the believer.

The devil would have people believe that sin is profitable, pleasurable, and harmless. Yet Romans 6:21 asks, “What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed?” Sin produces temporary excitement but lasting shame. It destroys individuals, weakens families, corrupts nations, and fractures relationships. Proverbs 14:34 reminds us, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Every sinful victory leaves damage somewhere—someone suffers, trust is broken, and spiritual life is diminished.

Romans 6:23 gives the sober conclusion: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Sin always pays wages—spiritual death, emotional decay, and sometimes physical consequences. James 1:15 echoes this truth: “Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” But righteousness brings life, peace, and stability (Isaiah 32:17).

Therefore, grace calls us higher. We are not only forgiven; we are empowered to live differently. Through grace, we choose righteousness, knowing that holiness produces life, while sin produces shame and death. Walk in grace, and let righteousness prevail

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to walk in righteousness .

YOU ARE NOT TRYING TO BE SPIRITUALLY FREE. YOU ARE FREE

The yoke of fear and oppresion is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional; Good -Life Devotional: YOU ARE NOT TRYING TO BE SPIRITUALLY FREE. YOU ARE FREE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Romans 6:7–14 presents a powerful apologetic: the believer in Jesus Christ is not trying to become free from sin — he has already been set and made free. “For he that is dead is freed from sin” (Romans 6:7). Through union with Christ in His death and resurrection, sin loses its legal authority.    This is not emotional freedom but judicial freedom. The old man was crucified with Christ so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless (Romans 6:6).

Jesus confirmed this truth in John 8:36: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” The freedom Christ gives is real, complete, and present. The believer is no longer a slave but now lives under grace, not law (Romans 6:14). Grace does not encourage sin; it breaks sin’s dominion. The tyranny of sin is replaced by the reign of righteousness.

This is why Paul says, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:11). The Christian life begins with knowing and counting this truth as reality.   Sin may still attempt influence, but it no longer has ownership. The believer now has the capacity to present his body as an instrument of righteousness (Romans 6:13).

Other scriptures affirm this liberty. “Sin shall not have dominion over you” (Romans 6:14). “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17). “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity” (Titus 2:14). Therefore, the believer walks in freedom, not striving for victory but living from victory already accomplished in Christ.

In our daily prayers we should seek for grace to walk in the newness of life in Christ .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome oppression .

YOUR IDENTITY IS NO LONGER DEFINED BY THE FLESH BECAUSE OF DEATH AND JESUS' RESURRECTION.

The burden of guilt and condemnation is hereby broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional:
YOUR IDENTITY IS NO LONGER DEFINED BY THE FLESH  BECAUSE OF DEATH AND JESUS' RESURRECTION.

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Romans 6:3–6 reveals a powerful apologetic truth: the believer’s identity is no longer defined by the flesh but by union with Christ. Paul writes that we were “baptized into Jesus Christ… baptized into His death… that we also should walk in newness of life.” The old man was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless. This means God no longer relates to the believer based on natural history, weakness, or past failures, but according to the finished work of Christ.
This aligns with 2 Corinthians 5:16: “Therefore from now on we regard no one according to the flesh… even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.” The resurrection changed everything. Christ is not evaluated by earthly standards, and those in Him must not be judged by outward appearance either. Jesus Himself declared in John 8:15, “You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.” His judgment was redemptive, rooted in divine purpose rather than human limitation.
Galatians 2:20 confirms this transformation: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” Likewise, Colossians 3:3 says, “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” The believer’s true identity is spiritual, not fleshly. Even Romans 8:1 declares, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Therefore, we must stop evaluating ourselves and others by past sins, background, or human weakness. The cross ended the old identity. In Christ, we walk in newness of life, known not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome guilt and condemnation.

JESUS CHRIST THE PROPITIATION OF OUR SINS

This resurrection Sunday I declare that the curse of unfruitfulness and poverty is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional;  JESUS CHRIST THE PROPITIATION OF OUR SINS

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The Bible reveals a profound truth: Jesus Christ is the propitiation for our sins. In Romans 3:25 (AMP), God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in His blood, demonstrating His righteousness. The word “propitiation” comes from the Greek hilastērion (ἱλαστήριον) and hilasmos (ἱλασμός), meaning a sacrifice that satisfies divine justice and turns away wrath. It carries the idea of appeasement—not by human effort, but by God’s own provision in Christ.

In 1 John 2:2, Scripture declares that Jesus is the propitiation not only for our sins but for the sins of the whole world. Again, 1 John 4:10 emphasizes that love is not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.    This shows that propitiation is rooted in God’s love, not human merit.

Under the Old Covenant, sacrifices were repeated continually (Hebrews 10:1–4), but they could never fully remove sin. However, Jesus, our perfect sacrifice, satisfied God’s justice once and for all (Hebrews 9:12, Isaiah 53:5). Through His blood, God’s righteous anger against sin is justly dealt with, and mercy is extended to all who believe.

This truth brings deep assurance. We are not trying to earn forgiveness; it has already been secured. God is no longer counting sins against those in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19). Therefore, we can draw near with confidence, knowing that the wrath we deserved has been fully satisfied in Jesus.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as my lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome sin . Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being the propitiation for my sins. I rest in Your finished work and rejoice in Your mercy. Amen.

CHILDREN SHALL NOT BE PUNISHED FOR THE SINS OF THEIR PARENTS. (ANCESTRAL CURSES IS INVALID

The curse of untimely death is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

CHILDREN SHALL NOT BE PUNISHED FOR THE SINS OF THEIR PARENTS.

(ANCESTRAL CURSES IS INVALID

)

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The Law of Moses explicitly prohibited punishing children for their parents' sins, establishing individual accountability for criminal acts. Deuteronomy 24:16 states, "Parents shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their parents; only for one's own crime shall a person be put to death".

Key details regarding this legal principle include:

LEGAL INDIVIDUALISM: The law demanded that justice be meted out only to the perpetrator (2 Kings 14:6, 2 Chronicles 25:4).

DISTINCTION FROM "VISITATION":  While Exodus 20:5 mentions God "visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children," this is commonly understood in context as the natural consequences of sin (disorder, poverty) affecting future generations, or punishment on descendants who repeat the same sinful actions.

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY: The principle was clarified further in the prophets, particularly in Ezekiel 18:20, which states that a child will not share the guilt of a parent.

LEGAL PRECEDENT: This law was actively followed in Israelite history, such as when King Amaziah spared the children of murderers who had killed his father (2 Kings 14:6).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel

REDEEMED—A PRESENT REALITY IN CHRIST

The curse of stagnation and confusion is broken because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: REDEEMED—A PRESENT REALITY IN CHRIST

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In the Old Testament, redemption was illustrated through sacrifices. In Leviticus 4, the sins of the people were symbolically transferred to an innocent bullock. That animal bore the guilt, and the people were spared—yet only temporarily. This system pointed forward to a greater, perfect redemption.

Hebrews reveals the fulfillment: “He entered once for all into the Holy Place…by means of His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption” (Hebrews 9:12, AMP). Unlike animal sacrifices, Jesus Christ’s offering was final and complete. Hebrews 9:15 declares that His death redeemed those under the old covenant as well as those under the new. No one is left out—His sacrifice spans all time.

Colossians 1:14 brings this truth into the present: “In Him we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation], the forgiveness of our sins” (AMP). Redemption is not future—it is a present, continuous reality.

The Greek word for redemption is apolytrōsis, meaning “a release effected by payment of ransom.” The word redeemed comes from lytroō, meaning “to set free by paying a price.” Jesus paid that price fully.

This is why Jesus boldly declares in John 5:24: “Whoever hears My word and believes…does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” There is no condemnation for the believer (Romans 8:1). We are not awaiting redemption—we are living in it.

PRAYER:Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome guilt and condemnation.

Lord Jesus, thank You for redeeming me fully and eternally. I stand free, forgiven, and uncondemned. Help me live daily in the power of this truth. Amen.

+ Don’t fight alone—God often uses people to strengthen you. Ask your pastor to pray for you whenever the urge arises .
+ Above all, walk daily in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:16 (AMP): “Walk habitually in the Holy Spirit…”
The Holy Spirit empowers you to overcome every craving and temptation.
Freedom is a daily walk, but victory is certain when you depend on God.

FREEDOM FROM GAMBLING AND BETTING

The anointing of God's favour upon you is restoring all that was stolen now .

Good -Life Devotional:  FREEDOM FROM GAMBLING AND BETTING

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In Nigeria today, it is estimated that billions of naira—often over ₦2–₦3 billion daily—flow into betting companies. Nigerians are becoming poorer by that amount daily despite the little factions given as wins . It's like prostitutiom . Imagine if ₦2 billion a day were redirected: at ₦5 million to start a modest small-scale enterprise, about 400 businesses could be created daily. If each employed just 5 people, that’s 2,000 jobs every single day. What a transformation that would bring to families and communities. Yet, much of this wealth is lost chasing uncertain gain.

Scripture warns clearly against the illusion of quick riches. “Wealth [not earned but won] hastily will dwindle, but he who gathers little by little will increase it” (Proverbs 13:11, AMP).   Gambling thrives on haste and impatience, but God’s pattern is diligence and steady growth. “He who is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own house” (Proverbs 15:27). What begins as a game often ends in financial strain and broken homes.

Spiritually, gambling shifts trust from God to chance.Gamblers despise  the new testament tithes in Galatians 6:6 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 despite their importance in spiritual development and expansion of God's kingdom. Gambling dulls sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and opens doors to fear, anxiety, and bondage.    The Bible cautions, “Do not give the devil an opportunity” (Ephesians 4:27). Through addiction, the enemy gains ground—draining resources, fostering desperation, and impoverishing families.

God calls His people to faithful stewardship and contentment. “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). True provision comes from Him: “It is He who gives you power to get wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Freedom begins with surrender to Christ. As you turn away from gambling and renew your mind, His grace empowers you to walk in discipline and purpose. “So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free” (John 8:36).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to prosper .

THE PROPHETIC RESPONSIBILITY OF ACCOUNTABILITY

You shall not be abandoned but repositioned for greater productivity because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good-Life Devotional: THE PROPHETIC RESPONSIBILITY OF ACCOUNTABILITY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

God has never called His servants to silence in the face of injustice. True preachers are custodians of righteousness, called not only to comfort but also to confront. When King David sinned, the prophet Nathan did not remain silent. With courage and divine wisdom, he declared, “Thou art the man” (2 Samuel 12:7, AMP). Nathan’s boldness shows that spiritual leaders are accountable to speak truth to power, regardless of status or consequence.

In Micah 3, God rebukes leaders and prophets who abandoned this sacred duty. Instead of defending justice, they pursued bribes and personal gain: “Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, her priests teach for a fee, and her prophets tell fortunes for money” (Micah 3:11, AMP). Their silence and corruption led to the suffering and destruction of God’s people. This is a sobering warning—when spiritual leaders prioritize profit over truth, the people perish.

Scripture consistently calls for accountability. Proverbs 31:8-9 urges, “Open your mouth for the mute… defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Likewise, Isaiah 1:17 commands, “Seek justice, rebuke the ruthless, defend the fatherless.” Preachers are not entertainers or mere motivators; they are watchmen (Ezekiel 3:17-18), responsible for warning and guiding society according to God’s standards.

Silence in the face of bad governance is not neutrality—it is complicity. God will judge those who refuse to speak when He has commanded them to cry aloud (Isaiah 58:1). Let every preacher remember: faithfulness to God includes standing for truth, justice, and righteousness, no matter the cost.

In our daily prayers we should ask for preachers to be given boldness to speak against injustice in the society .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance.

WHY JESUS SAID MANY PROMINENT MINISTERS WON'T ENTER HEAVEN.

You shall not labour in vain because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

WHY JESUS SAID  MANY PROMINENT MINISTERS WON'T ENTER HEAVEN.

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Based on Matthew 7:21-23, many prominent preachers may not enter heaven because their ministry, despite its outward success, is built on self-centered performance rather than a genuine, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jesus explains that merely using his name or doing "wonderful works" (prophesying, casting out demons, healing) is insufficient if the heart is not in alignment with the will of the Father.

Here is a breakdown of why this occurs, based on Matthew 7:21-23 and the Greek definition of iniquity:

1. The Greek Definition of Iniquity (Anomia)  In Matthew 7:23, Jesus tells them to depart because they are "workers of iniquity" (KJV) or "lawlessness" (ESV/NASB).

The word used is 'anomia,' which means lawlessness, illegality, or disobedience.

SIGNIFICANCE: It goes beyond sinning occasionally. Anomia implies a life lived without regard for God’s law, acting as if they are not under His authority. It is a persistent rebellion, often disguised as religious activity.

2. "I NEVER KNEW YOU" (RELATIONAL VOID)

Jesus declares, "I never knew you" (ginōskō), which indicates a complete lack of a personal, intimate covenant relationship.

SUPERFICIAL RELATIONSHIP: These preachers may work for Jesus, but not with him.

NO TRANSFORMATION: While their words may sound righteous, their hearts have not been transformed by the Gospel. They are "strangers" to God despite working in His name.

3. THE "WILL OF THE FATHER" VS. "MY WONDERFUL WORKS"

The distinction lies between doing God’s will and doing impressive religious work for personal recognition.

Not Doing the Will: The will of the Father, as defined in context, is to believe on Christ, submit to his authority, and display obedience.

RELIANCE ON MINISTRY  Prominent preachers might point to their megachurches, YouTube views, healing rallies, or dramatic preaching as proof of their salvation, but Jesus calls these acts "filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6) if they replace true repentance and obedience.

SUMMARY OF WHY THEY ARE REJECTED

THEIR MINISTRY IS SELF-GLORIFYING: They use Jesus' name for their own brand, power, or financial gain rather than His glory.

It’s a Display of SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS: They rely on their spiritual resume to justify themselves, rather than trusting entirely in Christ’s finished work.

THEIR FRUIT IS WRONG: Despite outward miracles, their lives do not produce the "good fruit" of obedience and humility (Matt 7:16-20).

Ultimately, this passage serves as a warning that spiritual giftedness is not the same as spiritual fruitfulness.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IS RECOMMENDED IN THE BIBLE AGAINST KIDNAPPING

You shall not fall into the enemy's trap because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IS RECOMMENDED IN THE BIBLE AGAINST KIDNAPPING

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

kidnapping is explicitly punishable by death in the Bible, specifically within the Old Testament Mosaic Law. The Bible views kidnapping (man-stealing) as a severe crime equivalent to murder because it involves stealing a person's freedom and dignity, both of which are considered gifts from God.

Key biblical passages regarding this penalty include:

Exodus 21:16: "Whoever kidnaps a person, whether that person has been sold or is still held in possession, shall be put to death" (NRSV). This law applies regardless of whether the kidnapper intends to sell the victim or keep them as a slave.

Deuteronomy 24:7: "If a man is caught kidnapping one of his brothers among the Israelites and treats him as a slave or sells him, the kidnapper must die. You must purge the evil from among you" (NIV).

1 Timothy 1:9-10 (New Testament): While not providing a direct legal penalty, the New Testament continues this condemnation by listing "slave traders" (or man-stealers) alongside murderers and other lawless acts, indicating that this stance against kidnapping is sustained.

KEY DETAILS REGARDING THIS LAW:

INTENT: The penalty was absolute, covering the abduction of a person for sale, slavery, or if the victim was simply found in the kidnapper's possession.

WHY DEATH? The biblical rationale is that humans are created in God's image (Genesis 1:27). Stealing a person is an assault on that image and a violation of the sanctity of human life and liberty.

CONTEXT: These laws were intended to protect individuals from the trafficking and enslavement prevalent in the ancient Near East, upholding the value of personal freedom.

PRAYER ; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I think him as lord and saviur and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome terror.

ANIMAL SACRIFICES CANNOT MAKE A PERSON RIGHTE

The evil enchantments against your family shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you

Good -Life Devotional: ANIMAL SACRIFICES CANNOT MAKE A PERSON RIGHTE

OUS BEFORE GOD .

Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The scriptures make it clear that animal sacrifices, though ordained under the Old Covenant, were never sufficient to make a person truly righteous before God. Hebrews 10:2–4 explains that if those sacrifices had perfected the worshippers, they would have ceased to be offered. Instead, they served as a continual reminder of sin, because “it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.”

This is a powerful apologetic truth: in the old testament, animal sacrifices could cover sin temporarily, but they could not cleanse the conscience or impart righteousness. They pointed forward to something greater—the perfect and final sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Abraham stands as a compelling example. Long before the Law and its sacrificial system were instituted, Abraham “believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Genesis 15:6). His justification was not based on any ritual, offering, or animal sacrifice, but on faith. This establishes a foundational truth: righteousness has always been by faith, not by works or sacrifices.

The sacrificial system, therefore, was symbolic—a shadow of the substance to come. It revealed humanity’s need for atonement but could never fulfill that need completely. Only Christ, the spotless Lamb, could accomplish what animal sacrifices never could—true purification and eternal righteousness.

For the believer today, this is both comforting and liberating. Your righteousness is not rooted in rituals, performance, or repeated acts of atonement. It is grounded in the finished work of Christ and received by faith.

Rest in this truth: what animal sacrifices could never achieve, Jesus accomplished once and for all.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome sorcery.

BELIEVERS ARE SANCTIFIED ONCE AND FOR All

Your family shall not suffer lack regardless of economic conditions because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: BELIEVERS ARE SANCTIFIED ONCE AND FOR All

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The Gospel reveals a powerful and liberating truth: believers are sanctified once and for all through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 10:10 declares, “we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” The Greek word for sanctified, hēgiasμένοι (from hagiazō), means “to set apart, make holy, consecrate.” This is not a process dependent on human effort, but a completed act accomplished by Christ.

This truth is further strengthened in Hebrews 10:14: “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Here we see both a finished position and an ongoing experience.    Positionally, the believer is perfected forever before God. Practically, we grow into what we already are.    Sanctification is first a gift before it becomes a walk.

1 Corinthians 6:11 reminds us: “But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Notice the past tense—this is a completed reality for every believer. You are not trying to become sanctified; you are learning to live from that identity.

However, Hebrews 2:1 cautions us to “give the more earnest heed” so we do not drift away. This means we must stay grounded in this truth. Forgetting our sanctified status can lead to striving, guilt, and legalism.

Apologetically, this doctrine defends the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice. If sanctification were incomplete, it would imply His offering was insufficient. But Scripture affirms otherwise—His work is perfect and final.

Therefore, rest in this truth: you are set apart, made holy, and accepted. Live daily from the reality of who you already are in Christ.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome poverty.

ALL WHO BELIEVE ARE JUSTIFIED

You shall be far from disaster because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: ALL WHO BELIEVE ARE JUSTIFIED

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The message of the gospel is both simple and profound: all who believe are justified. In Acts 13:39, we are told that “by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” This is a powerful apologetic truth—the Law, though holy and good, was never designed to make man righteous before God. It reveals sin but cannot remove it.

Galatians 2:16 reinforces this truth: “knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ.” Justification is not earned; it is received. It is not a reward for effort but a gift of grace through faith.

The Greek word translated “justified” is dikaioō, which means “to declare righteous,” “to acquit,” or “to render innocent.” It is a legal term, painting the picture of a courtroom where God, the righteous Judge, declares the believer not guilty—not because of personal merit, but because of Christ’s finished work.

This truth dismantles every form of self-righteousness. No amount of law-keeping, moral effort, or religious activity can secure justification. Only faith in Jesus Christ can. When a person believes, God credits righteousness to them (Romans 4:5), not based on performance, but on grace.

Therefore, the believer stands before God fully accepted, not striving to be justified, but living from a place of justification. This is the foundation of true peace with God (Romans 5:1).

Rest in this truth today: if you believe in Christ, you are justified—completely, eternally, and freely.

PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.

THE GOD WHO JUSTIFIES THE UNGODLY (NOT BY MERIT)

You shall receive the double good portions because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE GOD WHO JUSTIFIES THE UNGODLY (NOT BY MERIT)

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Romans 4:3–5 reveals a profound truth at the heart of the gospel: “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted unto him for righteousness… to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” This passage dismantles every human attempt to earn righteousness and establishes God’s method—justification by faith.

Apologetically, this text answers a major objection: How can a just God declare the ungodly righteous? The answer lies not in ignoring sin, but in addressing it through Christ. God’s justice is not compromised; it is fulfilled in the substitutionary work of Jesus. As Romans 3:26 declares, God is “just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” The cross is where justice and mercy meet.

Abraham serves as the prototype. Before the Law, rituals, or religious systems existed, he was declared righteous simply by believing God (Genesis 15:6). This proves righteousness is not tied to religious performance but to faith. David echoes this in Psalm 32:1–2, celebrating the blessedness of the man whose sins are forgiven apart from works.

This truth humbles human pride. No one qualifies by merit (Ephesians 2:8–9). It also offers hope—God does not wait for us to become godly before justifying us. He justifies the ungodly who believe.

Therefore, your standing with God is not based on your past, your failures, or your efforts, but on your faith in Christ. Having been justified, we now have peace with God (Romans 5:1).

Rest in this: the God who justifies the ungodly has declared you righteous through faith.

PRAYER: Heavenly forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome guilt and condemnation.

LET US COME BOLDLY

The more the opposition against you, the more shall be your promotion because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: LET US COME BOLDLY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Hebrews 4:14–16 presents a powerful apologetic truth about the believer’s access to God through Jesus Christ. Because we have a “great High Priest” who has passed into the heavens, we are not left in fear, distance, or uncertainty. Instead, we are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace. This boldness is not arrogance; it is confidence rooted in the finished work of Christ.

Under the old covenant, access to God was limited and mediated through priests who themselves were imperfect. But Jesus, sinless and compassionate, fully identifies with our weaknesses. He was “tempted in all points like as we are, yet without sin.”    This means He understands our struggles, not theoretically, but experientially. Therefore, our approach to God is not based on our performance but on His priesthood.

To “come boldly” means to approach God with freedom of speech, assurance, and trust. Romans 5:1–2 declares that through Christ “we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand.” Likewise, Ephesians 3:12 affirms that in Him “we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.” This access dismantles fear, guilt, and condemnation.

Boldness also implies expectation. Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that God rewards those who diligently seek Him. When we come, we receive mercy for our failures and grace for our present need. There is no situation too broken, no weakness too great.

Today, reject hesitation. You are not an outsider—you are invited. Approach God confidently, knowing that His throne is not a place of judgment for the believer, but a throne of grace.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to prosper in difficulty places .

GOD REJECTS RELIGIOUS ELITISM

The evil structures causing poverty shall be overthrown because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GOD REJECTS RELIGIOUS ELITISM

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Jesus revealed a profound truth in Luke 10:21—that the Father hides divine things from the “wise and prudent” and reveals them to babes. This is not an attack on knowledge, but on pride. God resists spiritual elitism.  In Matthew 18:3, we are commanded to become like little children—humble, dependent, and sincere—if we are to enter the kingdom. Likewise, Matthew 19:14 affirms that the kingdom belongs to such as these. The posture God honors is not superiority, but simplicity of heart.

The modern church often mirrors worldly systems of hierarchy and status, where titles, popularity, and outward appearances are exalted. This elitist mindset grieves the Holy Spirit because it shifts focus from Christ to self. As a result, the genuine manifestation of the gifts and fruits of the Spirit becomes scarce. No amount of polished programs or emotional performances can substitute for the Spirit’s authentic work (Galatians 5:22–23).

The Apostle Paul encountered such elitism in Galatians 2:4–8, where false brethren sought to impose spiritual bondage and elevate themselves. Yet Paul remained steadfast, recognizing that God shows no partiality. He later reminded the church in 1 Corinthians 1:26–29 that God chooses the foolish, weak, and lowly to nullify human boasting. This ensures that all glory belongs to Him alone.

James 4:6 declares, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Spiritual maturity is not measured by status, but by surrender.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel.

Heavenly Father, deliver me from pride and every desire for recognition. Teach me to walk in humility and childlike faith. Let Your Spirit flow freely in my life, ungrieved by self-exaltation. Help me to value Your presence above human approval, and to reflect the simplicity and sincerity of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

GOD WHO JUSTIFIES THE HEATHEN

The diabolic plan against you shall fail because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GOD WHO JUSTIFIES THE HEATHEN

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Galatians 3:8 reveals a profound truth: “The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham…” This is the heart of the gospel—God justifies the ungodly, not the religious elite.

Abraham is the central proof. When God declared him righteous (Genesis 15:6), there was no Islam, Christianity, or Judaism in existence. Abraham did not belong to any organized religion. By definition, he was a “heathen.” The Greek word used is 'ethnos', meaning nations, Gentiles, or people outside covenant identity—those without the law and promises. Yet, God justified him by faith alone.

This dismantles the idea that righteousness is tied to religious systems. Romans 4:3 affirms, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” His justification came before circumcision, law, or ritual—proving that faith, not works or heritage, is the basis of righteousness.

Jesus Himself confirms Abraham’s place in glory in Luke 16:22, where Lazarus is carried to “Abraham’s bosom.” This shows that Abraham’s righteousness was genuine and eternal. Psalm 32:1–2 prophetically declares this blessing: “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven… to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity.” This points to vicarious redemption fulfilled in Christ.

Through Jesus Christ, this same blessing has come upon the Gentiles (Galatians 3:14). Ephesians 2:12–13 reminds us that we who were once far off have been brought near by His blood.

God is still justifying the “heathen”—not by religion, but by faith in Christ. Therefore, salvation is not earned; it is received. Believe, and be counted righteous.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to destroy the works of evil .

WE HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH

Doors are being opened for you in high places because of the anointing of God's fav

our upon you.

Good - Life Devotional:  WE HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken...” (2 Corinthians 4:13).

The spirit of faith is not silent, timid, or defeated. It believes God first, and then it speaks in agreement with His truth. This is the pattern we see in David when he stood before Goliath. He did not wait for victory before opening his mouth. He spoke victory because he trusted the living God. In 1 Samuel 17:45–47, David declared, “I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts,” “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand,” and “the battle is the Lord’s.” His confidence was not in his size, strength, or weapon, but in God’s unfailing power.

This is the same spirit of faith believers are called to have. Faith does not deny the existence of battles, but it refuses to let battles have the final word. Faith speaks what God has said. When fear says, “You will fall,” faith says, “The Lord is my helper” (Hebrews 13:6). When lack says, “There is no way,” faith says, “My God shall supply all your need” (Philippians 4:19). When weakness speaks, faith answers, “I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13).

However, the spirit of faith is not the power of positive confession or human creativity. It is confidence in God’s revealed Word. We do not “create” reality with our mouths as God did; rather, we confess His promises and align ourselves with His will. Biblical faith is not magic—it is trust in the character and power of God.

Therefore, do not speak defeat over your life. Let your mouth agree with Scripture. Believe God, and therefore speak. The same God who gave David victory is still faithful today.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to work miracles.

THE GRACE OF GOD CANNOT BE OBTAINED BY MONEY

The evil prophecy and revelation about your family is hereby canceled because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE GRACE OF GOD CANNOT BE OBTAINED BY MONEY

By Michael Benson Ajayi

Grace is the free gift of God, not a commodity to be bought, sold, or exchanged for money. In Acts 8:9–25,    Simon the sorcerer believed the gospel and was baptized, yet his thinking was still shaped by his old life. When he saw the Holy Spirit given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered money, saying, “Give me this authority and power too” (Acts 8:19). Peter answered sharply: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!” (Acts 8:20).    This shows clearly that grace cannot be purchased.

Simon had loved public admiration before conversion. The people called him “the great power of God” (Acts 8:10–11).     That same desire for personal glory still controlled him. In the same way, many modern preachers seek celebration, titles, and applause instead of pointing men to Christ.   But a true preacher proclaims Jesus Christ crucified, not himself (1 Corinthians 2:2; 2 Corinthians 4:5). Grace does not flow through financial manipulation; it is freely given by God. Jesus said, “Freely you have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).

Scripture warns against men of corrupt minds who think godliness is a means of material gain (1 Timothy 6:5–6). Such teaching is evil. Grace is not proven by wealth, but by Christ Himself working in us. Salvation is “not of works” and comes by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9). The Spirit is given by God, not purchased by men. Therefore, avoid ministers who commercialize spiritual things. Honor those who make Christ central, walk in humility, and show that the gift of God is free, holy, and beyond the price of silver or gold.

PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to work miracles.

GRACE DOES NOT CANCEL CONSEQUENCES

You shall soon be celebrated where you were once humiliated because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GRACE DOES NOT CANCEL CONSEQUENCES

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

The grace of God is one of the most beautiful realities in the Christian life. It is commonly described as His unmerited favor, His forgiveness, and His divine empowerment working in us. Yet, grace must never be misunderstood as an exemption from the consequences of our actions. It is not a “get out of jail free card,” but a call into transformation.

Scripture clearly corrects this error. In Romans 6:1–2 (AMP), we read, “Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Certainly not!” Grace is not a license for carelessness; it is the power that teaches us to live rightly. Titus 2:11–12 affirms that grace trains us to deny ungodliness and live disciplined lives. While grace removes the guilt and eternal condemnation of sin, it does not always remove its earthly ripple effects.

The Bible gives sobering examples. David was forgiven after his sin with Bathsheba, yet the consequences remained (2 Samuel 12:13–14). Moses, though beloved, lost the privilege of entering the Promised Land because of disobedience (Numbers 20:12). The thief on the cross received salvation, yet still faced physical death (Luke 23:42–43). Esau, though remorseful, could not reverse the loss of his birthright (Hebrews 12:16–17). These accounts remind us that forgiveness does not always cancel consequences.

Why does God allow this? Hebrews 12:6 tells us that the Lord disciplines those He loves. Consequences become tools for growth, correction, and deeper dependence on Him. Furthermore, Galatians 6:7–8 teaches the principle of sowing and reaping—what we plant, we will harvest.

Grace forgives, restores, and empowers—but it also teaches responsibility. Even when consequences remain, grace sustains us through them, turning pain into purpose. Therefore, walk wisely. Embrace grace not as an excuse to sin, but as strength to live righteously and honor God in all things.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome oppression .

GRACE DOES NOT EXEMPT FROM RESPONSIBILITIES

Your family shall be far from disaster because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GRACE DOES NOT EXEMPT FROM RESPONSIBILITIES

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Grace is the unearned favor of God given through Jesus Christ. Its meaning is derived from the Greek word 'charis' and it means:  kindness or favor freely given, while it also carries the idea of divine empowerment to live according to God’s will. Grace saves us, but it never removes our responsibility to respond to God with obedient faith.

In James 2:14–26, Scripture confronts the error of a passive faith. James asks, “What use is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him?” (AMP). Genuine faith always produces action. Faith without works is not merely weak; the Bible says it is dead.

Many modern teachings wrongly suggest that because of the finished work of Jesus Christ, believers no longer have any responsibility toward obedience or righteous living. Yet the Bible clearly shows that grace does not cancel responsibility—it empowers it. Even demons believe that God exists, but their belief does not lead to obedience (James 2:19).

Abraham demonstrated living faith when he offered Isaac on the altar (Genesis 22;9). His action did not replace faith; it completed it. As James explains, “You see that faith was working together with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected” (James 2:22). Rahab also received grace, yet she acted by hiding the spies, proving that her faith was genuine ( Joshua 2:18,22, Joshua 6:23-25) .

The same pattern appears throughout Scripture. Ephesians 2:8–10 declares that we are saved by grace through faith, yet we are also “created in Christ Jesus for good works.” Likewise, Philippians 2:12–13 urges believers to work out their salvation while God works within them.

Grace saves, but obedient faith responds. True faith always produces works that honor God.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome sin.

Lord, thank You for Your grace through Jesus Christ. Help my faith to be living and active, producing obedience that glorifies You. Amen.

YOU ARE NEVER SHORT OF GRACE

You shall continue to make extraordinary progress regardless of the opposition because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

YOU ARE NEVER SHORT OF GRACE

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Many believers are taught that when they experience weakness, difficulty, or hardship it means they lack grace. Yet the Scriptures teach the opposite. In 2 Corinthians 12:7–10, the Apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord concerning a “thorn in the flesh.” God’s answer was clear: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Weakness was not evidence that grace had diminished; it was the very place where God’s grace was revealed.

The Greek word for grace is charis, meaning unmerited favor, divine enablement, and God’s empowering presence freely given to believers. Grace is not merely kindness from God; it is His active power working in us. Paul therefore concluded, “When I am weak, then I am strong.” The strength came from grace, not from human ability.

Scripture also assures us that grace never abandons the believer. Hebrews 13:5 declares, “I will never, under any circumstances, desert you, nor give you up nor leave you without support” (AMP). If God never leaves the believer, His grace cannot depart either. In John 1:16, we are told that “from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” This means the believer does not receive partial grace but continuous supply from Christ.

False teaching suggests that hardships mean grace has run out. But the gospel teaches that grace is most visible in moments of weakness, suffering, and limitation. Romans 5:20 says, “Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.” God’s grace is not measured by circumstances but by the finished work of Christ.

Therefore, the born-again Christian is never short of grace. Whatever trial you face today, remember: God’s grace is already sufficient, already present, and already working in you.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.

Lord, help me rely on Your sufficient grace and not on my own strength. Teach me to trust that Your power is perfected in my weakness. Amen.

ONE MEASURE OF GRACE IN CHRIST

The plans of the wicked against you shall be exposed and neutralised because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: ONE MEASURE OF GRACE IN CHRIST

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
The New Testament teaches that no preacher or believer possesses a superior measure of God’s grace above others. Epistle to the Ephesians 4:7 (AMP) declares, “Yet grace [God’s undeserved favor] was given to each one of us, not indiscriminately, but in different ways in proportion to the measure of Christ’s gift.” The source and measure of grace is Christ Himself, and He gives it freely to every believer. The difference lies in our function, not in our worth or spiritual rank within the body of Christ.
In Gospel of John 1:16 we read, “For out of His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.” Scripture does not speak of partial fullness or spiritual percentages. Every believer receives from the same fullness of Christ. Therefore, no minister can rightly claim a special access to God that others do not have.
A powerful example appears in Acts of the Apostles 10:25–26. When Cornelius fell at Peter’s feet to worship him, the apostle immediately lifted him up and said, “Stand up; I too am just a man.” Peter understood that the glory belongs to God alone, not to any human vessel.
The unity of believers is further emphasized in First Epistle to the Corinthians 12:11–13, which teaches that the same Spirit distributes gifts and that we are all baptized into one body by one Spirit. Likewise, Second Epistle to the Corinthians 4:13 reminds us that we share the same spirit of faith.
When modern preachers demand honor that borders on worship or claim exclusive favor with God, they contradict the humility taught by Christ (see also Gospel of Matthew 23:8–12). All believers stand equally under the grace of God.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome evil .
Lord Jesus, keep Your church humble and united. Remove pride from our hearts and help us honor You alone as the source of grace and power. Amen.

BY THIS YOU SHALL KNOW THE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

Your family shall not fall apart but wax strong in love and overwhelming peace .
Good -Life Devotional;
BY THIS YOU SHALL KNOW THE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
BIn John 13:33–34 (AMP), the Lord Jesus gave a defining mark of true discipleship: “I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another.” The distinguishing evidence of a disciple is not religious titles, denominational identity, or theological debates—it is the sacrificial love demonstrated by Christ Himself.
The love of Christ is self-giving and redemptive. John 15:13 declares, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” Jesus embodied this love on the cross (Romans 5:8), and He expects His followers to reflect the same spirit. When believers walk in this love, the world recognizes the reality of Christ living in them.
Scripture also warns against relying on religious systems that replace living faith with rigid traditions. Colossians 2:19–23 explains that human rules and denominational dogmas may appear wise, but they cannot transform the heart or produce righteousness. True spiritual life comes from holding fast to Christ, the Head of the Church.
Furthermore, Jesus promised that genuine believers would reflect His works. In John 14:12, He said that those who believe in Him would do the works He did. Acts 10:38 summarizes His ministry: “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.” This same Spirit empowers believers today.
Therefore, a disciple of Christ is known by love, compassion, and Spirit-filled works. 1 John 3:18 exhorts us: “Let us not love with word or tongue, but in action and in truth.” When Christ’s love flows through us, the world sees the true mark of His disciples.
Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to love those who hate me.
Lord Jesus, fill my heart with Your sacrificial love. Deliver me from empty religion and empower me by Your Spirit to live and serve like You. Let my life reveal that I am truly Your disciple. Amen.

DELIVERANCE FROM BONDAGE BY BREAKING THE YOKE OF COMPROMISE AND COMPLACENCY

The anointing of God's favour upon you is restoring all that was lost .
Good -Life Devotional: DELIVERANCE FROM BONDAGE BY BREAKING THE YOKE OF COMPROMISE AND COMPLACENCY

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Spiritual bondage often begins when God’s people grow comfortable with compromise. In 1 Kings 13, we see a powerful example of how complacency within spiritual leadership can open the door to corruption. King Jeroboam had established false worship in Bethel, corrupting the altar of God and leading Israel into sin (1 Kings 12:28–33). Yet the tragedy is not only in the king’s rebellion, but also in the silence and compromise of those who should have defended the truth.
An old prophet lived in Bethel with his sons, witnessing the corruption surrounding the altar of God. Instead of confronting Jeroboam’s idolatry, he remained passive. Complacency allowed false worship to continue unchallenged. God then raised a young prophet from Judah who boldly prophesied judgment against the altar, declaring that God would expose and destroy the false system (1 Kings 13:2–5). This moment showed that God will always raise voices to confront unrighteousness when others remain silent.
Sadly, the old prophet later deceived the young prophet, causing him to disobey God’s command. The young prophet became a victim of the spiritual corruption around him, and judgment followed (1 Kings 13:24). This sobering story reveals that compromise in spiritual leadership can destroy both the deceiver and the deceived.
In many parts of Africa today, corruption in governance persists partly because the Church has often chosen comfort over confrontation. When preachers seek favor from corrupt leaders instead of speaking God’s truth, they repeat the failure seen in Bethel. Scripture warns, “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet” (Isaiah 58:1 AMP). The Church must be a prophetic voice, not a partner in silence.
God still offers hope through repentance. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (AMP) declares: “…if My people who are called by My Name humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”
Deliverance begins when believers reject compromise, confront unrighteousness, and return to God in humility.
PRAYER Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome temptation.
Lord, we repent for complacency, compromise, corruption, and silence in the face of injustice. Cleanse Your Church from fear, greed, and spiritual manipulation. Restore integrity to the pulpit and righteousness to leadership. Raise courageous voices who will proclaim Your truth without compromise. Heal our land as Your people turn back to You. Amen.

GOD DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY MAN’S PERSON, ( HE DOES NOT HAVE FAVOURITES )

You shall not be a victim of evil deception because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional:

GOD DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY MAN’S PERSON,

( HE DOES NOT HAVE FAVOURITES )

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Galatians 2:6 (AMP) declares, “God shows no partiality [no arbitrary favoritism; with Him one person is not more important than another].”       This truth is foundational to biblical apologetics: God’s authority and truth are not determined by human rank, title, or social standing. The apostle Paul emphasizes that even the most respected leaders in the church did not alter the gospel he preached because God Himself is the ultimate authority.

Scripture consistently affirms that God evaluates people by the condition of the heart rather than outward position. In 1 Samuel 3:1–10, God chose to reveal His word to the boy Samuel instead of Eli the high priest. Though Eli held a sacred office, his household had fallen into disobedience. God therefore raised a young servant to speak His message. This demonstrates that divine revelation is not controlled by human hierarchy. As 1 Samuel 16:7 reminds us, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Similarly, Acts 10:34–35 records Peter’s revelation: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality.” God accepted Gentiles who feared Him, overturning human religious barriers.   Likewise, James 2:1 warns believers not to show favoritism, because such behavior contradicts God’s nature.

Apologetically, this doctrine defends the impartial justice of God. Critics sometimes claim religion favors elites or powerful leaders, yet Scripture shows the opposite. God spoke through shepherds like David, fishermen like Peter, and even children like Samuel. Truth is validated by God’s revelation, not by human status.

Therefore, believers must value obedience over position. God may choose the least expected vessel to proclaim His truth. The question is not who speaks, but whether God has spoken.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome the devil .

Righteous Father, remove every spirit of favoritism from Your church. Give us humble hearts that honor Your truth above human status. Raise faithful voices who will speak Your word with courage and purity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
