DELIVERANCE FROM THE STOCKHOLM SYNDROME OF BAD GOVERNANCE (Part 1)

    Many Africans have lived under systems marked by corruption, injustice, poverty, electoral manipulation, and failed public institutions for so long that many have unconsciously accepted them as normal. This condition can be compared to a societal "Stockholm Syndrome"—where victims become accustomed to the very systems that oppress them.
   God never intended His people to normalize evil. Before Israel could leave Egypt physically, they first had to break free mentally from the mindset of slavery. Likewise, genuine national transformation begins with a renewed mind.
POWER POINTS FOR DELIVERANCE
+Refuse to normalize corruption, injustice, and poverty.
+Renew your mind through God's Word and truth.
+Separate loyalty to politicians from accountability.
+Judge leaders by character, competence, and results.
+Refuse ethnic, religious, or party-based blindness.
+Believe that positive change is possible.
+Reject hopelessness and political fatalism.
Exodus 23:2 declares: "You shall not follow a multitude to do evil." God calls His people to stand for righteousness even when the majority accepts wrongdoing.
   National transformation begins when citizens reject the lie that "nothing can change." Every great democracy was built by ordinary people who dared to challenge unhealthy systems and demand better governance.
   As believers, we must become voices of truth, refusing to celebrate what God condemns or excuse what destroys future generations.
PRAYER Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive Him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance.
  Father, in the name of Jesus, deliver Africa  from every mentality of bondage and acceptance of evil. Renew our minds and help us recognize corruption, injustice, and oppression for what they truly are. Break every chain of fear, hopelessness, and deception. Raise courageous citizens who will stand for truth and righteousness. Let Your light expose every work of darkness in our nations. In Jesus' name, Amen.
