TRUSTING GOD TO REVEAL THE TRUTH

You shall not be disgraced by the enemy because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.
Good -Life Devotional: TRUSTING GOD TO REVEAL THE TRUTH

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi
Texts : Philippians 3:15; 1 Corinthians 4:5
Not every disagreement among Christians is immediately resolved. Even mature believers may see certain matters differently. Recognizing this reality, Paul wrote, "And if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you" (Philippians 3:15). What remarkable confidence! Paul trusted the Holy Spirit to guide God's people into truth over time.  Jesus Christ taught his disciples that revelation was progressive John 13:7 'Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter."
Many believers feel compelled to correct every differing opinion they encounter. Yet Paul understood that spiritual growth is often progressive. God patiently teaches His children according to His timing. The same God who opened our eyes to salvation continues to illuminate His Word and mature our understanding.
This is why Paul also instructed believers, "Judge nothing before the time" (1 Corinthians 4:5). Human beings can observe actions and hear words, but only God fully knows the motives of the heart. What appears to be stubbornness may actually be sincere conviction. What seems like weakness may simply be a different stage of spiritual growth. We should give ourselves room to grow in knowledge and understanding and mature in our relationships.
The temptation to judge motives is especially dangerous. We may wrongly assume that those who disagree with us are less spiritual, less devoted, or less committed to truth. Paul warns against such conclusions. The Lord alone sees perfectly and will ultimately reveal all hidden things.
When disagreements arise, we must combine conviction with patience. Speak truth graciously, stand firmly on Scripture, and trust God to complete His work in His people. The Holy Spirit is a far better teacher than human pressure.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation  him as Lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and divine wisdom . Father, keep me from a critical and judgmental spirit. Teach me to trust Your work in the lives of other believers and to wait patiently for Your truth to be revealed. Help me walk in humility, love, and spiritual maturity. Amen.
