COMMON APOLOGETICS QUESTIONS A CHRISTIAN ENVOUNTERS (part 1)

  Apologetics helps us to understand the bible better from the perspective of a critical thinker . Faith is logical and reasonable  Here’s a helpful list of common apologetics questions that Christians often encounter, along with brief suggestions on how to answer them biblically and thoughtfully. These can be useful for evangelism, discipleship, or strengthening your own faith.

1. IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE THAT GOD EXISTS?

Response:

Yes. Romans 1:20 says God's invisible attributes are clearly seen through creation. Design in nature, moral conscience (Romans 2:15), and the order of the universe all point to an intelligent Creator.

2. HOW CAN JESUS BE GOD AND THE SON OF GOD AT THE SAME TIME?

Response:

This refers to the Trinity. Jesus is God the Son, distinct in person but one in essence with the Father and Spirit (John 1:1, John 10:30). "Son of God" denotes relationship, not inferiority, just like a man's image on a mirror, Jesus Christ is the express image of God to show us how God looks like (Hebrew1:3) 

3. IF GOD IS GOOD, WHY DOES HE ALLOW EVIL AND SUFFERING?

Response:

God allows free will (Deuteronomy 30:19), and with it comes the potential for evil. But God can bring good even out of suffering (Romans 8:28). Jesus Himself suffered to defeat sin and death (Hebrews 2:10).

4. IS THE BIBLE TRUSTWORTHY AND NOT JUST A BOOK WRITTEN BY MEN?

Response:

The Bible was written by men inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16). It has historical, archaeological, and prophetic accuracy, with over 5,000 early manuscripts supporting the New Testament.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and the spirit of wisdom and revelation. 

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel.
