BY ONE OFFERING

   Hebrews 10:8-14 teaches a powerful truth: “By one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Religion demands endless sacrifices, rituals, and ablutions—acts that admit humanity is not righteous before a holy God. These practices could never take away sin; they were temporary shadows pointing to something greater. Scripture confirms that God cannot accept the unrighteous into heaven, and “without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). The problem is clear—sinful humanity cannot make itself holy, and God is not pleased with lifeless religious sacrifices (Isaiah 1:11; Micah 6:6-8).
     Jesus Christ came as both Priest and Sacrifice, fulfilling what religion could never accomplish. He was the only one holy enough to stand before God, offering Himself without blemish (Hebrews 9:14). It takes a perfect sacrifice to satisfy a perfect God—and no religious person, no ritual, and no effort of human righteousness qualifies. Isaiah 64:6 declares that our righteousness is like “filthy rags,” unable to earn God’s acceptance.
    But Jesus did what we could not. He paid the price once and for all. Through one offering, He removed the barrier between God and humanity, making us holy, forgiven, and acceptable (Romans 5:1; Ephesians 1:7). The cross did not offer a temporary cleansing—it accomplished eternal redemption.
Now we stand before God not by religion, but by the finished work of Christ. One offering. One Savior. One way to God (John 14:6).
In Him, we are perfected forever.
  In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and walk before him and be perfect.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome guilt and condemnation.
