Good -Life Devotional: “WRITTEN OF ME

”

“Then I said, ‘Behold, I come to do Your will, O God—

[in the volume of the book it is written of Me].’” — Hebrews 10:7 (AMP)

   Hebrews 10:7 reveals something powerful about Jesus: He did not appear in history by accident. He came by divine intention, fulfilling what had already been written. Long before Bethlehem, the cross, or the empty tomb, the eternal plan of God was already established. Jesus steps forward and declares, “I have come to do Your will.” This becomes the heartbeat of His mission.

    This verse reminds us that God’s plans are not random. Just as Jesus’ purpose was written in the volume of the Book, your life is not a mistake, and your journey is not unseen. God’s will for you is not to drift, but to discover purpose in Him.    Jesus demonstrates that true fulfillment begins with surrender — not to circumstances, but to the will of the Father.

Psalm 40:7–8, which Hebrews quotes, shows the Messiah delighting to do God’s will. Likewise, believers today are called not only to know God’s will but to delight in it. When we align our desires with His purpose, we find peace where confusion once lived, direction where uncertainty stood, and strength where weakness overwhelmed us.

Today, declare like Jesus:

“Lord, I choose Your will. Lead me. Use me. Guide me.”

May your life reflect what Heaven has already written.

  In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and for his will to be done .

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel.
