GO WITH GOD’S PRESENCE

You shall continue to make great progress regardless of the situation because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: GO WITH GOD’S PRESENCE

 By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

In Exodus 33, Moses faced an assignment greater than his strength—leading Israel to the promised land. He understood that strategies, numbers, and human ability were not enough. He cried out to God, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here.” Moses knew that success without God is failure, but with God’s presence, even the impossible becomes possible. God’s presence is the tangible manifestation of His goodness through the power of the Holy Spirit, often expressed by angelic help and divine guidance.

The presence of God is hindered when a person chooses stubbornness and pride, for “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). Yet in His nature, God is always with His people. Hebrews 13:5 assures the born-again believer that He will never leave nor forsake us. What we need is not just His nearness, but consciousness of His nearness. When we walk aware of His presence, we stand strong against satanic attacks and the plans of human or demonic opposition.

Many believe that Moses later penned Psalm 91 after experiencing God’s promise of presence—resulting in declarations of divine protection: deliverance, angelic assistance, and victory over danger. Psalm 16:11 reminds us that in His presence is fullness of joy, and Psalm 23:4 declares that even in dark valleys, we fear no evil because He is with us.

So as you journey through life, don’t go alone. Go with God’s presence—and you will walk in preservation, direction, and victory.

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and consciousness of His abiding presence.
