GOD WILL RESIST THE ENEMIES OF GOOD GOVERNANCE

  "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. "

Isaiah 9:6

 Government is the instrument through which God's blessings flows to humanity. Adam and eve were thrown out of the garden because they rebelled against God's government. This has led to untold hardship being suffered  by humanity till date. 

    Before a person gets delivered he or she must come under God's government,  that's the meaning of " in Jesus name I pray" Jesus is the embodiment of God's government  and authority, rulership , are under his power. 

    Any form of abuse of political power is an attack and insult against God with terrible consequences.  In the Old Testament we read about Korah's rebellion against Moses through a parallel government Numbers 16:2-3,15,40 "And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses."

Unfortunately,  korah and his family paid the ultimate prize.  Most miracle healing and deliverance ministries comprise mainly of persons guilty of being partners or directly involved in electoral malpractices. Though,  they may enter heaven they will not escape the punishment even if they repent, this is to serve as a deterrent to others ( Ecc8:11, Isaiah 33:1)

   In the New Testament,  we had the case of Anainas and Saphirrah (Acts 5) They  were  not shown pity for opposing the government in the early church and 1 Timothy 1:20 says "Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme." 

 Electoral improprieties disrupts God's plans for the Salvation of humanity. We should prayerfully select those in charge of our electoral processes at all levels because our collective destinies lies in their hands. 

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as Lord and savior and receive the Holy Spirit and power for exemplary leadership.
