    "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.   That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.   Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.   The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." John 3:5‭-‬8 KJV

     The Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune God -creator of the universe . It is easy to understand the concept of a triune God when we consider our design . As you read this very moment, there is a dialogue taking place within you. It is undeniable, it is as if there are two persons inside you with each having a distinct voice that sounds alike . It is our mind having a discussion with our spirit ( conscience) to the hearing of our inner ears . We have a spirit , soul  and physical body. 

  The bible says "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1Thes5:23 meaning we are three-in-one by design (Soul, Spirit, Body) . Similarly, God is Father , Spirit , Son (Word) . It is a  mystery.  

      The concept of being born again can be likened to formatting a computer to make it compatible with an operational system. The sinful old nature does not have the capacity to carry the data from the Holy Spirit, the bible says "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."  I Cor 2:14 NKJV do not get upset when you are told by an unbeliever that the gospel sounds foolish . That is why Jesus Christ said a man must first be initiated into the order of 'sons' to be used of God effectively (Jn1:12) . The Holy Spirit is the enabler (John 6:63) We are regenerated and renewed by the Holy Spirit ( Titus3:5) 

    At salvation, we are given the seal of the Holy Spirit at new birth " sealed us ..given us the earnest of the Spirit " 2Cor.1:22 . The word earnest is the Greek word  'arrhabōn' it means 'pledge ' an advanced payment .Since God does not exist in fragments or heterogeneous this means the gift of the Holy Spirit is proof of the redemption of bodies and transformation into Jesus' glorious body . It is this 'earnest' that stimulates the desire to be used by God in the believer . At new birth we are given a hunger for God , it is the foundation of a robust spiritual expedition into the various dimensions of God's grace. 

  The Holy Spirit assures us of our salvation ( 1Jn4:13;Rom8:16;1Jn 3:24) it is through the Holy Spirit that we receive beyond reasonable doubt the proof of our salvation, therefore, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit deprives a person of an experience with the new creation realities . This is the root of agnosticism. Mk3:28,29;Jn15:26) 

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you , I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation , I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to advance the course of God's kingdom. Amen
