PURSUIT OF DIVINE JUSTICE IN THE PRESERVATION OF SOCIETY.

Ezekiel 11:2,4 "Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.'

The pursuit of divine justice is essential for the preservation of society, a principle vividly illustrated in the biblical narratives of Esther, Mordecai, and Ezekiel. In the Book of Esther, Mordecai's unwavering faith and Esther's courageous intervention epitomize the power of divine justice. When Haman plots to annihilate the Jewish people, Mordecai's refusal to bow to him (Esther 3:2) and Esther's bold approach to the king (Esther 4:16) demonstrate their reliance on God’s justice. Esther’s declaration, “If I perish, I perish,” underscores the necessity of taking righteous risks to uphold divine justice, ultimately leading to the salvation of her people (Esther 8:7-8).

Similarly, Ezekiel's prophetic ministry emphasizes the role of divine justice in societal preservation. God appoints Ezekiel as a watchman for Israel, charging him to warn the wicked to turn from their ways (Ezekiel 3:17-19). This mandate highlights the importance of accountability and repentance in maintaining a just society. Ezekiel’s prophecies often focus on the consequences of abandoning God’s laws, serving as a reminder that societal well-being is inextricably linked to adherence to divine justice (Ezekiel 18:30-32).

These biblical examples underscore that demanding divine justice is not merely a passive hope but an active responsibility. Esther and Mordecai’s story teaches the importance of courageous advocacy, while Ezekiel’s prophetic role illustrates the need for vigilant moral guidance. Together, they provide a compelling case for the necessity of divine justice in ensuring the health and longevity of society. As Proverbs 21:15 asserts, “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” By seeking and upholding divine justice, society can flourish in righteousness and peace.

Meditate on Psalm 149:6-9, Ezekiel 11:1-13, Isaiah 32:1-5 in your daily prayers for divine justice in society .

Prayers : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to set the captives free.Amen
