Matthew 18:19-20

  " Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 

   For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. "

 Marriage affords a couple the opportunity of experiencing God's presence everyday. This reenforves their love for God and themselves through the miracles experienced through their prayers. Satan hates when couples pray together, it terorises him. 

   Prayer is a powerful practice that can unite and strengthen a family. Here are seven things a husband and wife should pray for their family, along with corresponding Bible verses.

1. **Wisdom**: Pray for God's wisdom in making decisions. "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (James 1:5).

2. **Unity**: Pray for harmony and unity within the family. "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).

3. **Protection**: Seek God's protection over your family. "But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

4. **Provision**: Ask God to meet your family's needs. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

5. **Faith**: Pray for a deepening of faith in God. "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15).

6. **Love**: Pray for love to abound in your family. "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8).

7. **Peace**: Ask God to bring peace into your home. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7).

By praying for these aspects, couples can foster a spiritually healthy and resilient family.

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to walk in love towards others .Amen
