WIVES SUCCEEDING THROUGH THE PRAYERS OF THEIR HUSBANDS

Genesis 25:21 " And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived."

  The bible admonishes couples to pray for one another . This is one way to operate in love and forgiveness and this fosters a harmonious relationship in marriages. The scriptures says in James 5:16 " Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." Wise men are not afraid to tell their wives ' I am sorry ' whenever they err. It is a demonstration of a strong character and spiritual maturity.

   A prayerful husband plays a vital role in nurturing his wife's spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. Here are seven things he should pray for his wife, each rooted in Scripture:

1. **Spiritual Growth**: Pray for her spiritual growth and relationship with God. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).

2. **Wisdom and Guidance**: Ask for God's wisdom and guidance in her decisions. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).

3. **Health and Strength**: Seek God's protection over her physical health. "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well" (3 John 1:2).

4. **Peace and Joy**: Pray for her to experience God's peace and joy. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7).

5. **Protection and Safety**: Ask for God's protection over her daily life. "The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life" (Psalm 121:7).

6. **Love and Compassion**: Pray for her to embody love and compassion. "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8).

7. **Fulfillment and Purpose**: Seek God's guidance in helping her find and fulfill her purpose. "For I know the plans I have for you... plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

A husband's prayers for his wife can significantly impact her life, drawing her closer to God's love and grace.

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to mend broken relationships. Amen
