Acts 2:42-43 "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles."

Prayer is the gateway to supernatural. A praying husband opens the doors for the miraculous in his family. Here are more prayer points of a praying husband. 

17. PROTECTION FROM TEMPTATION

Lord Jesus, You taught us to pray, “Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” I pray that You protect me and my family from sin and ungodly influences. Strengthen me to resist temptation and remain steadfast in faith. Guard my wife and children from snares, peer pressure, and worldly corruption. Help us to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Cover us with Your grace, keeping our hearts pure and devoted to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.   Matthew 6:13 – “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

18. CHURCH INVOLVEMENT

Father, make me and my family faithful in serving You through the local church. Teach us to use our gifts, time, and resources to build Your kingdom. Let our commitment to fellowship be strong, and help us to encourage others by our example. Keep us from spiritual laziness or neglect of Your house. Just as Samuel heard Your voice while serving in the temple, may my family encounter You as we serve faithfully. Let our service bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

 Hebrews 10:25 – “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

19. GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS

Lord, I pray that my life of prayer and obedience will plant seeds of righteousness for generations to come. May my children and grandchildren inherit blessings because of the covenant I walk in with You. Break every generational curse of sin, poverty, or failure, and establish a new lineage of godliness. Let my descendants rise as mighty men and women of faith, impacting their world for Christ. May our family name be associated with integrity, faith, and righteousness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.  Psalm 112:2 – “Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.”

20. ENDURANCE IN FAITH

Heavenly Father, strengthen me to be a man of prayer who endures in faith. Help me never to grow weary or give up in seeking You. Teach me to persist in prayer, even when answers seem delayed. Let me model perseverance for my wife and children, so they also learn to stand strong in faith. May my prayers shape the destiny of my family and leave a legacy of intercession. Keep me steadfast until I see You face to face. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  Luke 18:1 – “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to stand against oppression.
