    Luke 8:11

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. "

  

Luke 4:4

" And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. "

  The word of God cannot be separated from God . It is the power for salvation and the source of our faith in God . God is revealed through his word   Satan knows this and seeks to take people captive through the ignorance of the word of God revealed in the bible. Here are some more reasons why the devil discredits the bible . 

6. TO PROMOTE FALSE TEACHINGS

Discrediting the Bible opens the door for Satan to spread lies and deception.

"For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (Matthew 24:24)

7. TO ATTACK JESUS CHRIST’S AUTHORITY

Satan seeks to discredit the Bible to deny Jesus’ divinity and authority.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)

8. TO HINDER SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Without the Bible, believers lack the nourishment needed for growth and maturity.

"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation." (1 Peter 2:2)

9. TO DESTROY HOPE

The Bible provides hope in the promises of God. Satan discredits it to foster despair.

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." (Romans 15:4)

10. TO PREPARE FOR HIS FINAL REBELLION

Satan seeks to discredit the Bible to pave the way for his ultimate rebellion against God.

"They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with Him will be His called, chosen, and faithful followers." (Revelation 17:14)

   By discrediting the Bible, Satan aims to disrupt God’s plan for humanity. However, believers are called to stand firm in faith, trusting the Word of God as the ultimate source of truth

  In our daily prayers seek for a healthy appetite for God's word and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER: Heavenly, Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to live righteously.
