SCIENCE ECHOES BIBLICAL NARRATIVES .

1 Corinthians 12:8 'For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;"

The Greek word for 'knowledge'  in this scripture is  'gnōsis ' it means science . to have a deeper insight .    Science is a product of the Holy Spirit  and is given to man to give us a better understanding of the way the universe works.

Science is the systematic study of the natural world through observation, experimentation, and analysis. It aims to understand and explain natural phenomena by developing theories and laws based on empirical evidence. Science relies on the scientific method, which involves formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments, collecting data, and drawing conclusions. This process helps to ensure that scientific knowledge is reliable, reproducible, and subject to revision based on new evidence.

SEVEN SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERIES THAT ECHO BIBLICAL NARRATIVES

Throughout history, numerous scientific discoveries have intriguingly aligned with biblical accounts, fostering a dialogue between faith and science. Here are seven such discoveries that resonate with biblical narratives:

1. **The Big Bang Theory**: The Bible begins with "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). This aligns with the Big Bang Theory, which posits that the universe had a singular beginning, a significant moment of creation. When God spoke, he released creative energy with a bang from the sound waves from his voice .

2. **The Earth's Roundness**: Isaiah 40:22 describes God as sitting "above the circle of the earth." Long before the concept of a spherical earth was universally accepted, this scripture hinted at the earth's round shape, aligning with later astronomical findings.

3. **The Expanding Universe**: Psalm 104:2 speaks of God stretching out the heavens "like a tent." Modern cosmology confirms that the universe is expanding, a discovery that supports the scriptural description of a dynamic, stretching cosmos.

4. **Ocean Currents**: Psalm 8:8 mentions "the paths of the seas." The discovery of ocean currents by Matthew Maury in the 19th century provided scientific validation of these "paths" described in the Bible.

5. **The Water Cycle**: Ecclesiastes 1:7 describes the water cycle: "All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full; to the place from which the rivers come, there they return again." This mirrors our modern understanding of the hydrological cycle.

6. **Health and Hygiene Practices**: Leviticus outlines various health practices, such as quarantine and washing after contact with dead bodies. These practices predate modern germ theory and sanitation, demonstrating an early understanding of disease prevention.

7. **The Existence of Dinosaurs**: Job 40:15-24 describes a creature called "Behemoth," which some interpret as a dinosaur. This suggests an ancient awareness of large, prehistoric animals, paralleling paleontological discoveries.

These intersections between scientific findings and biblical text highlight a fascinating synergy, encouraging ongoing exploration and dialogue between the realms of faith and science.

Prayer : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for unlimited wisdom.
