FULL PARTICIPATION  OF THE GODLY IN LEADERSHIP

Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."

    In today's world, Christians are called to be active in politics to promote justice, mercy, and humility, principles deeply rooted in biblical teachings. The Bible encourages believers to engage with society and governance, seeking to reflect God's will on earth.

  Politics is a game of numbers . Recently, persons of middle eastern origin caused a major upset in Britain by winning seats in parliament through a strategic increase in participation in politics. More  participants, increases the chances of winning. You cannot be a politically dormant righteous person and be praying for an ungodly person in power to succeed. Ungodly persons are driven by satan to kill , steal and destroy . Only the godly can change a nation for the better . 

One foundational verse is Micah 6:8, which states, "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." This verse emphasizes the importance of justice, mercy, and humility in our actions, including our political engagements.

Furthermore, Proverbs 31:8-9 urges, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." This highlights the responsibility of Christians to advocate for the marginalized and vulnerable in society, ensuring that their voices are heard in the political sphere.

Romans 13:1 also reminds believers of the importance of governance: "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established." This verse calls for respect and engagement with political systems as part of God's sovereign plan.

By participating in politics, Christians can help shape a society that upholds biblical values, striving to bring about positive change and justice for all.

 In your daily prayers ask God for the boldness and wisdom to participate in governance. 

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for godly leadership .
