NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE TREMENDOUS POLITICAL POWER AT THE COUNCILORS AND WARD LEVELS .

    In democratic systems, the political power of councilors and ward leaders is often underestimated, yet they play a crucial role in determining who becomes president. These local officials are the grassroots influencers who can sway public opinion, mobilize voters, and shape the political landscape at the community level. Their ability to organize, rally support, and ensure high voter turnout can be pivotal in close elections. Moreover, they often serve as the link between the citizens and higher levels of government, making their endorsements and support critical for any presidential candidate.

For Christians, occupying these offices offers a unique opportunity to influence society according to biblical principles. Proverbs 29:2 states, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice." By holding these positions, Christians can advocate for policies that promote justice, peace, and the common good, ensuring that leadership reflects godly values. Matthew 5:13-14 calls Christians to be the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world," urging them to actively participate in governance to preserve moral integrity and illuminate truth. Therefore, Christians should seek these roles, understanding that their influence can extend far beyond the local level, potentially shaping the future of an entire nation.

 Elections are won and lost at the ward level that's why God's people are expected to build very formidable teams at this level of governance. 

 Developed nations recognize this that's why so much effort is put at strengthening the electoral processes at this level of government. They are like the tributaries that make up a big river . In our daily prayers we should ask God for wisdom to raise formidable leaders at all levels of governance and for political party delegates that would  not supseptible to bribery and corruption. 

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to promote good governance.
