THE SEVEN JUDGEMENTS OF GOD UPON THE WICKED

Your situation is not hopeless, the anointing of God's favour is opening doors for extraordinary Breakthroughs.

Good -Life Devotional:

THE SEVEN JUDGEMENTS OF GOD UPON THE WICKED

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Ecclesiastes 8:11 "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil."

2 Thessalonians 1:6 "Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;"

The increasing disenchantment with the church is mainly because of the failure of the judiciary in being the last hope of the common  man . This is because  God's judgement is not much spoken of and manifested as it was in the early church. God is honoured when we speak of his judgement , the bible says Isaiah 5:16 "But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness."

God's righteousness is demonstrated in the manner with which he deals with the wicked . This is itemised in Job 20, by Zophar the Naamathite who described the seven judgments that God will bring upon the wicked, emphasizing the transient nature of their prosperity and the inevitability of divine retribution. First, he asserts that the triumph of the wicked is short-lived, as their apparent success is fleeting (Job 20:5). Second, their joy is momentary, overshadowed by impending doom (Job 20:6-7). Third, their ill-gotten gains will not benefit them, as they will be stripped of their wealth (Job 20:15).

Fourth, the wicked will experience internal turmoil, with their sins returning to haunt them (Job 20:20-22). Fifth, a destructive force, symbolized by an iron weapon or a bronze arrow, will pierce them, bringing unavoidable suffering (Job 20:24). Sixth, darkness and fire, representing divine judgment, will consume what they hold dear, including their homes and possessions (Job 20:26). Finally, the seventh judgment is the exposure and punishment of their secret sins, ensuring that their wrongdoing is fully known and judged (Job 20:27-29).

These judgments underscore the belief that divine justice will prevail, rendering the wicked's temporary gains worthless and ensuring that they face the consequences of their actions.

The anointing upon the born again believer is also to proclaim the day of vengeance of the lord . Failure to do so will bring about the proliferation of wickedness in society. Apostle Peter (Acts 5: 1:-20) ) and Paul ( 1 Cor 5 ,1Tim 1:20 ) used this right to bring about order in the church .

Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power for divine healing.
