JUSTICE DELAYED IS NOT JUSTICE DENIED , GOD WILL DELIVER THE AFFLICTED

 The evil verdict against you shall be overturned because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: JUSTICE DELAYED IS NOT JUSTICE DENIED , GOD WILL DELIVER THE AFFLICTED

Luke 18:7-8

[7] "And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 

[8]I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? "

   In times of suffering, the notion of justice often feels elusive, particularly when we witness affliction and hardship. The Bible offers guidance and reassurance that, despite seeming delays, God's justice is certain and will be fulfilled in His perfect timing.

Psalm 37:7-9 encourages patience and trust in God's plan: "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land."

Similarly, 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us of God's patience and mercy: "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

The assurance of justice is also reflected in Isaiah 30:18: "Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!"

In these scriptures, we find hope and a call to steadfastness, trusting that God's justice will prevail, even if it appears delayed.

In your daily prayers ask for the spirit of perseverance and long-suffering while waiting for divine intervention in your circumstances. 

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome depression.
