Good -Life Devotional: CHRISTIANS WHO SUPPORT CORRUPTION WILL NOT ENTER HEAVEN

   The Bible strongly warns against corruption and those who support it. In 2 Peter 2:12, corrupt individuals are described as "like unreasoning animals… born to be captured and destroyed." The Greek word translated "perish" here is "phthora", meaning ruin, destruction, or moral decay—indicating total spiritual collapse. Verse 19 adds, “They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity,” showing how corruption enslaves the soul.

1 Corinthians 5:9-13 makes it clear that the wicked—including the sexually immoral, greedy, swindlers, and idolaters—are to be avoided by the church. Christians are called to judge those within the church and not associate with so-called believers who practice such sins.

Corruption doesn’t just stain individual character; it hinders the gospel's progress and fuels Satan’s mission to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). Jesus was clear about the fate of the corrupt in Revelation 21:8: “the cowardly, unbelieving, vile… and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur.”

   Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and corruption is among them. As followers of Christ, we are called to stand against evil, not accommodate it.

   God’s grace, far from excusing corruption, trains believers to reject ungodliness and worldly passions (Titus 2:11–12). Christians must be holy, resisting corruption in every form, lest they forfeit the kingdom of God.

THERE IS NO PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT WHAT GOD CONDEMNS.

 In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to resist corruption.

PRAYER : Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome corruption.
