EXCLAMATORY REMARKS EXPRESSING STRONG EMOTIONS AND POWER BY GOD .

The anointing of God's favour upon you is opening doors for extraordinary financial help for you

Good-Life Devotional:

EXCLAMATORY REMARKS EXPRESSING STRONG EMOTIONS AND POWER BY GOD .

By Rev Michael Benson Ajayi

Here are some examples in the Bible where God makes exclamatory statements—powerful declarations often marked by strong emotion, divine authority, or rhetorical force:

1. "Let there be light!"

Genesis 1:3 (AMP)

"And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light."

An emphatic command launching creation itself—an exclamation of power.

2. "Who told you that you were naked?"

Genesis 3:11 (AMP)

"And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?"

A divine interrogation filled with grief, righteous confrontation,  often mistaken as surprise but an all-knowing and all-present God cannot be surprised by anything  .It is a judicial statement of righteous judgement.

3. "What have you done?"

Genesis 4:10 (AMP)

"The voice of your brother’s [innocent] blood is crying out to Me from the ground!"

A solemn cry of divine justice after Cain kills Abel. This is also mistaken as ignorance by God . An all-knowing God should not be requesting details of an event . He already knew what happened, However, divine justice demands Cain defend his actions .

4. "Is anything too difficult for the Lord?"

Genesis 18:14 (AMP)

"At the appointed time, when the season comes, I will return to you, and Sarah will have a son."

God challenges human doubt with a rhetorical exclamation affirming His omnipotence.

5. "How long will these people treat Me disrespectfully?"

Numbers 14:11 (AMP)

A frustrated cry from God about Israel’s rebellion.

6. "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

Matthew 27:46 (AMP)

"About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice... 'My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’”

A cry of anguish, echoing Psalm 22, capturing the weight of sin , frustration of man's senseless rejection of God like Eve did in the garden of Eden. This is often misinterpreted as the separation of the Father from the son ( See topic on The Father is inseparable from the Son and the Holy Spirit)

In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and commitment to live righteously.

PRAYERS: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to preach the gospel.
