Good -Life Devotional: THE PROPHETIC EXTORTIONER IS IN DANGER OF HELL FIRE

The modern-day prophetic extortioner—those who claim divine authority to demand money in exchange for miracles—is in grave danger of hell fire. Scripture stands firmly against this deception. 1 Corinthians 5:11 warns us not to associate with anyone who is "a swindler or greedy person," even if they call themselves a brother. These false prophets scheme through lies, demanding offerings for "grace," yet the Bible declares grace cannot be bought.
1 Peter 1:18 clearly says we were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold. Redemption is through the precious blood of Christ, not through financial transactions. Ephesians 4:7 adds that grace is freely and immeasurably given to every believer—no payment required.
Such deceivers may prophesy, cast out demons, and perform miracles, but Matthew 7:21-22 assures us they will not enter the kingdom of heaven because they practice lawlessness. God's gifts are not for sale.
Jesus commanded, “Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:8). True ministry is not for hire. Isaiah 45:13 confirms God’s servants are to work “without price or reward.”
To sell grace is to mock the cross. Let the Church beware: the prophetic extortioner is storing up wrath, not riches.
The next time you are in a church meeting and you are told God wants to bless some people who will give a certain amount of money to the preacher , stand up and walk away from there .
In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to speak against corruption.
PRAYER; Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to overcome corruption.
