 6. LACK OF GRATITUDE

They rarely express appreciation for what you do for them. They do not give or  respond to compliments . 

   The Bible says : "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

7. WITHHOLDING AFFECTION

They withhold love or intimacy as a form of manipulation.

The Bible says : "Let the husband fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband." (1 Corinthians 7:3)

8. GREED OR MATERIALISM

They prioritize money or possessions over the relationship. They do not obey the new testament tithing in 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 and Galatians 6;6 because of love for money over God. 

The Bible says  "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have." (Hebrews 13:5)

9. REFUSING TO APOLOGIZE

They rarely, if ever, admit their mistakes or say sorry.

The Bible says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

10. DISREGARD FOR SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP

They neglect leading or supporting you spiritually in the marriage. They have a poor appetite for God's word and lazy in prayers and are disrespectful to their pastor . 

   The Bible says : "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy." (Ephesians 5:25-26)

    A selfish spouse can create challenges in a marriage, but God’s Word reminds us that love, humility, and forgiveness are essential for a healthy relationship. Seek wisdom and prayer for guidance in addressing these behaviors.

 In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and manifestations of the fruits of His Spirit in us. 

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and power to love unconditionally.
