THE WICKED SHALL BE CUT OFF:

 The stronghold of the enemy over your finances  shall be destroyed because of the anointing of God's favour upon you.

Good -Life Devotional: THE WICKED SHALL BE CUT OFF: 

Micah 5:9

" Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off."

      The phrase "cut off," found throughout Scripture, often signifies a decisive end or removal, implying divine judgment and separation. The Hebrew term for "cut off" is karath (כָּרַת), which means to sever, destroy, or eliminate. This imagery underscores the finality of God’s judgment on the wicked, no matter how powerful they may appear.

    Psalm 12:3 declares, “May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaks proud things.” This verse demonstrates that the wicked, with their deceitful speech, will face divine intervention. Similarly, Psalm 34:16 affirms, “The face of the LORD is against evildoers, to cut off the memory of them from the earth,” emphasizing the erasure of their influence and legacy.

    Psalm 37:9 assures believers, “For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the land.” This verse contrasts the fleeting triumph of the wicked with the enduring inheritance of the righteous. Likewise, Psalm 37:38 warns, “But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.”

    Even offerings made by the wicked are worthless in God’s sight, as Malachi 2:12 states, “The LORD will cut off from the tents of Jacob anyone who does this—who brings an offering to the LORD Almighty.” Their outward religious acts cannot mask inner rebellion.

    Ultimately, the power and prosperity of the wicked are temporary, for God’s justice will prevail, cutting them off and upholding the righteous.

 In our daily prayers we should seek a healthy appetite for God's word and God's judgement against the wicked in the society.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins against you I believe Jesus Christ died and was raised again for my salvation I receive him as lord and saviour and receive the Holy Spirit and protection from the destroyer.
