GROWING SPIRITUALLY (PART 2)

 Ephesians 4:14-16

" That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

[15]But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

[16]From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."

  It is not God's will for a Christian to keep moving from one prayer house to another in search of spiritual solutions to avoid falling victim of fraudulent preachers and demonic activities. 

    Growing spiritually as a Christian involves a journey of deepening your relationship with God, understanding His Word, and letting His presence transform you. Here are some key areas with Bible verses to guide you:

1. Seek God through Prayer and Worship

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (AMP): "Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."

Psalm 100:4 (AMP): "Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name."

2. Meditate on God’s Word Daily

Joshua 1:8 (AMP): "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read and meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful."

Psalm 119:105 (AMP): "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

3. Walk in Faith and Obedience

James 1:22 (AMP): "But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]."

Hebrews 11:6 (AMP): "But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him."

  In our daily prayers we should seek for a healthy appetite for God's word and boldness to preach the gospel in all righteousness.
